Third Person’s POV:
“Then who the hell picked up Giselle just now?” Natalie asked in a frightened tone while pointing towards the parking slot where a black Mercedes was parked just now.
“Someone abducted Giselle!” Kevin groaned in frustration and punched the table and broke it in the process.
…….
Meanwhile, inside the black Mercedes,
“Riven, what are you doing? Is this how you would behave with my friends?” Giselle asked angrily while sitting in the passenger’s seat.
“You are friends with leeches? Why didn’t you tell me before!” Riven said annoyedly while driving the car like they were driving on the racing track.
“Because I had no idea. Stop ordering around Riven. I shouldn’t have trusted you. Stop the car. I will go back with Kevin!” Giselle growled angrily while pointing towards the door.
“You are not going anywhere. Since when did you know these vampires, huh? Are they acquainted with you? Will they fight a war for you?” Riven asked in a damn curious tone.
“What are you asking, Riven? Why do we need the help of vampires to fight a war for us? Plus, your father hates vampires”, Giselle replied sharply while looking at him weirdly.
“I know, but if foxes attack us in the near future, will they fight against them? Do you know their actual number? Do they have a big clan here in the United States?” Riven asked, he sounded a bit too interested in vampires.
“What kind of questions are these? Forget it! I am calling Kevin”. Giselle removed her cell phone to call Kevin but Riven cut the call and threw her cell phone down.
“You are not calling anyone!” Riven shouted in an enraged tone.
Giselle looked at her with shock. This is the first time Riven had been acting so rudely towards her since they found out they were each other’s mates.
She silently grabbed her cell phone from the car floor without uttering a word.
“Listen, Giselle baby, I am really sorry. Tell me. I just want to know more about these new friends of yours. You were sitting with two vampires and you really expect me to behave normally?” Riven asked in a casual tone.
‘Two vampires? Riven knew that Natalie was a witch”, Giselle thought while glancing at him.
“You are not Riven, are you?” Giselle asked, looking at him directly in the eye.
“Giselle baby. What are you saying…” the guys said with a nervous laugh.
“It’s not baby. It’s sweetheart for Riven! Who are you?” Giselle replied while glaring at the guy sitting in front of her in the shape on her mate.
At that moment, Giselle’s cell phone rang but the guy in Riven’s avatar disconnected the call.
He was super fast. He removed the injection containing the mixture of wolfsbane and chloroform from his pocket and injected it on Giselle’s body.
Due to a very high dosage of wolfsbane and chloroform, she lost consciousness immediately and stopped struggling.
He changed back to his original form and called someone.
“I succeeded in abducting her. I am bringing her to the clan house” he announced proudly.
From the other side of the phone came a deep voice of the man, “Good job, Michael. I knew I could count on you.”
……
“Someone abducted Giselle!” Kevin groaned in frustration and punched the table and broke it in the process.
Natalie hit her head with the palm of her hand in annoyance.
“Someone kidnapped my best friend right from under my nose! What are we going to do now? How can I be so useless!” Natalie cursed herself angrily.
“Calm down, Nate! Nothing will happen to her. She is your best friend. You can track her, right?”
