Third Person’s POV:
“I do know that, baby, what is the problem? You are scaring me!” Natalie said in a worried voice.
“Your friend, Giselle… She is pregnant!” Arthur replied in a serious tone.
“What!” Natalie shouted in shock. She was beyond taken aback by the news.
“Yeah, I could hear it and feel it. Giselle is pregnant!” Arthur said confidently.
“Are you sure? I mean, you are not mistaken? It could happen you might be mistaken, right?” Natalie asked in a nervous tone.
“I am a vampire Prince, love. I can’t be mistaken about such things. She is really pregnant! You can use your powers and check it for yourself”, Arthur replied in a serious tone.
“Whose kid was it?” Nate asked in a muddled tone.
“I don’t know. For that, I need to touch her womb, but the rest of the information is correct for sure”, Arthur replied in a casual tone.
“Gosh! That doesn’t sound good! Let me call her”. Natalie passed her hand through her hair and removed her cell phone to call Giselle immediately.
“Let her first explain things to Riven. He looked really angry”. Arthur tried to stop Natalie from disturbing the couple.
“What if Riven scolds her? If she is really pregnant, excessive stress is not good for her condition. I will call her” Nate didn’t listen to Arthur at all and called Giselle immediately.
“Okay then, but please be polite. Don’t be the one who gives her excessive stress”, Arthur said in a pleading tone. The guy loved her a lot.
“Yeah, like I scream all day!” Nate rolled his eyes while replying.
“Well, I won’t comment on that”, Arthur said with a mischievous smile.
“What do you mean?” Nate glared at her mate coldly.
“Nothing! Call her”, Arthur replied with a small smile.
Natalie called her but Giselle disconnected the call.
“She has the audacity to disconnect my call!” Natalie roared angrily.
‘And then she says she doesn’t scream’ Arthur shook his head.
“She must be having a hard time with her mate right now. You said he was weird, right? Let her be!” Arthur said in a casual tone.
“She never disconnected my call before. If we don’t want to talk, we don’t receive, but disconnecting is not an option!” Natalie said while looking at her cell phone suspiciously.
“You are taking too much stress, Natalie. She will call you”, Arthur replied, while keeping his hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
“You are not understanding it, Arthur, something is not right with her. I can feel it” Natalie said, panicking.
Looking at her tensed state, Arthur held her one hand and said, “Okay, I understand. Call her again. If she doesn’t receive this time, we will visit her pack house.”
Natalie tried to call her again but her cell phone was switched off this time.
“What the f*ck! Her cell phone is switched off!” Natalie’s eyes widened in shock.
“What!” Arthur also shouted in astonishment.
“Let’s go to her pack house” Natalie said, while holding Arthur’s hand.
“Okay, let’s go” Arthur nodded in reply.
They were about to move out of the café when the door of the café opened and Kevin walked in hurriedly.
“Natalie, where is Giselle?” Kevin asked in a concerned tone.
“What do you mean? Riven just came and dragged her away. He is really disrespectful sometimes!” Natalie complained in an angry tone.
“What nonsense! Riven can’t pick her up!” Kevin completely denied her.
“What do you mean he can’t?” Arthur asked confusedly.
“Riven went out of town for an important meeting. I had a conversation with him and he got there just now”, Kevin informed them in a serious tone.
“Then who the hell picked up Giselle just now?” Natalie asked in a frightened tone while pointing towards the parking space where a black Mercedes was parked just now.
“Someone abducted Giselle!”
