Alice’s Point Of View
“So you failed me?”
“No, Darco, please…” I begged. “I have them. If you give me a little more time, I can assure you I’ll push Akira away from her and…”
He raised his hand and I swallowed my words. He leaned back in his throne and groaned in frustration. “Remember what you said when I let you go? You said you’d make sure she leaves and fall into my hands. You’ve been there for about three weeks, Alice. What exactly have you been doing?”
I gulped, keeping my head down. I don’t dare look into those killer eyes of his. His eyes hold nothing but mischief and destruction.
“I’ve… I’ve been doing exactly what you ordered me to do.”
“Is that so? Then what do you have to say about the rumors flying around lately?”
“Ru.. rumors? What rumors?” I asked as I brought my head up. Meeting his eyes, I quickly brought my head back down.
“People say you fancy that alpha and you covet the girl’s position.” He said as he stood up. My knees shook against the ground as he came to a stop in front of me.
“Is this true, sweetheart?”
“N… no,” I said, shaking my head vigorously. “I have no such feeling toward Akira. I told you I hate him. I told you I want nothing more than his destruction so..”
“So why are you taking so long?” He asked as he pulled my head up roughly by my hair.
“I promise! I promise I will bring her to you. I swear.”
He smirked and let my hair go. He stood up and walked back to his throne. “You’re taking too long so I decided to hire someone else for the job.” He said and I looked up.
“Who?”
He looked sideways and a man emerged from the darkness. I looked at the man up and down. “Who is he?” I demanded and the man smiled.
“I’m Cyrus.” He introduced, stretching his palm out for a handshake.
“Who is he?” I asked Darco, completely ignoring Cyrus’s extended hand.
“Your replacement. A little birdie told me she’s in search of her little childhood friend and here he is, the childhood friend, Lyell.” Darco said.
“Wait… is he really..?”
Cyrus shook his head. “Of course not. Her childhood sweetheart is dead but she doesn’t know that. Imagine how pleased she’d be to hear he was alive and well?”
“Ah… so you’re discarding me? You can’t do this to me, Darco. You can let go of me just because you got some farm boy to take over the job.”
“This ‘farm boy’ can do a better job than you, sweetheart.” Cyrus said. “you’re too busy chasing that alpha to remember your aim. You can’t blame Darco, he’s just doing what he feels is right.”
“I swear if you say another word, I’m going to tear your mouth apart.” I threatened and he smirked mischievously.
“I’d like to see you try.”
“You bastard! I will…”
“Silence!” Darco roared.
“Darco, I won’t be discarded like this I…”
I swallow my words when I saw the deadly glare in his eyes.
He shook his head and sighed. “You might be slow but you might be needed in the future. Return to the pack and stay low. What did I say?”
“Stay low,” I said reluctantly.
He looked away from me to Cyrus. “If your cover gets blown, get ready to be executed.” He warned and Cyrus nodded.
“Yes, my Lord.”
Darco waved his hand dismissively and Cyrus left. I proceeded to leave but he stopped me.
“Where do you think you’re going?” He asked and I gulped. He got up and came to me. He placed his hand on my shoulders and slipped off my robe, revealing my naked body to him.
“Ah, I see you came prepared for me.” He said in satisfaction. I knew what I had to do. I got on my knees and pulled down his pants. My insides danced in excitement as his huge and long dick fell out. I wrapped my hands around it and began to stroke it. I took it in my mouth and began to suck him. I looked up at him and he had no expression on his face. He’s always like this. He always looks unimpressed. I’d pay every penny to hear him groan at my touch.
I increased my pace and joined it with my hand. I sucked his dick and stroked it too. He pulled his dick away from my mouth and pulled me up by my hair.
He bundled me and threw me roughly on the bed. He parted my legs and without wasting time, he plunged his cock inside me. I let out a scream filled with both pain and pleasure. I panted heavily as he thrusts faster.
“Darco… Darco!!” I screamed in pleasure and he slapped me across my cheeks angrily.
“Don’t say my name with your filthy mouth!” He growled. He turned me around and got me on my fours. He trusted in and my knees shook violently in pleasure. I kept moaning as he thrust into me heavily. I’m in pain but in greater pleasure.
“I’m gonna cum!! I’m gonna cum!!” I screamed as a knot formed in the pit of my stomach. He took out his dick and circled my pussy with his lips.
“Fuck!” I screamed as he ate my pussy like the animal that he was.
“I’m cumming! I’m fucking gonna… fuuuuckkk!” I shook violently as I squirted all over his face. He pushed me off and slapped my ass.
“You should do something about your screams.” He said irritably as he got off the bed. “leave in two minutes.” He ordered as he entered the bathroom.
I stayed on the bed, panting heavily. I wanted more. I wasn’t satisfied. I widened my legs and inserted my finger into my hole. I bit the pillow hard to stop myself from moaning out loud. I increased my pace and came in two minutes.
“Fuck,” I moaned under my breath. I’d do anything to get that dick every day. I got off the bed and wore back my robe. I adjusted my hair and exited his room. Fuck, that was heavenly.
Riaz’s Point Of View
“Up the mountains, down in the valley, on the land, and in the sea. You’re the only one I see, I want you to marry me….”
“Can you please stop singing that?” Devan complained and I stuck my tongue out at him.
“Come on, it’s such a nice song! It’s romantic, you know?” Clover said dreamingly and Devan shook his head.
“You young folks pay attention to the most unimportant things. Romance? Love? Those are insignificant. You should work and save for the future.”
“Here we go again.” I rolled my eyes.
“Even if you save and save like a war is going to happen tomorrow, isn’t it beat to save for your significant other and kids? You know?” Clover said and I flicked my fingers.
“She’s right.”
“No thanks. I feel like what’s the point? Even if I get to like someone today, what assurance do I have that they’ll be with me in the future? Why risk the pain?” Devan said and I looked up at him.
“Did your significant other leave you?” I asked and he stopped walking. He turned to me and I asked again. “Did you get your heart broken?” I asked. He looked forward and resumed walking.
“Don’t ask me stupid questions. Y’all should walk fast. Looks like it’s going to rain.” He said in dismissal but I wasn’t ready to back down.
“Come on, tell me. Who was she? Or he? When did you get together? What did they look like? Did you love them? When did you-”
“You better stop rambling or I’ll shove you into that bush.”
I shook my head pitifully. “you poor boy, did they leave you because you were boring and unaffectionate?” I taunted.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case,” Clover said and I giggled. Devan shook his head and adjusted the sack at his back.
“I should send you guys off somewhere.” He said and I linked my arm with his.
“Unfortunately, I have nowhere I wanna go. I’m gonna die here.”
“There’s no place for you to die here.” He said tiredly.
“I won’t die then. I’ll just live here.” He huffed frustratingly and I grinned. I just live to disturb him.
“You guys, what are we having for lunch?” Clover asked. She is sitting on Devan’s head, playing with his hair with her little hands.
“You always ask what we’re going to eat when you know you cannot eat what we eat,” I said.
“You guys are probably gonna eat grass because there’s nothing at home.” Devan said and Clover gasped dramatically.
“You’re really heartless, you know? You better find Riaz something to eat or else, I will not visit you again.”
“Wow, I’d really hate it if you leave.” He said sarcastically and I snorted at Clover. She rolled her eyes and I laughed.
I’ve been with Clover and Devan for two weeks now. At first, I thought Devan would force me out of the house but he didn’t. He only makes empty threats whenever I annoy him but he actually doesn’t send me away. He acts super cold but he’s warm at heart.
They took me as family and even though I know they are both curious, they didn’t ask me anything. As if they understand that I’d rather not talk about it. I’ve gotten to know more places around Red Orleans for the past two weeks.
I thought I’d see witches of my kind but I couldn’t find them. I fear I might be the last of my kind. If that’s true then what happened to my ancestors? Did they all die? Was there a war? Legend has it that they were the first inhabitants of this place. If they are really the pacesetters, why does my kind seem unwelcome in this place?
I always have to tie a scarf around my hair to cover my identity. I always ask Devan why but he never answers. He always dodged my question or just ignore me completely. Him acting like that makes me more suspicious. What could he be hiding?
“Home sweet home!” Clover beamed as we got to our front door. She flew off Devan’s head and flew inside. I took off my shoes at the doorpost and went in with Devan.
As usual, Devan made dinner while I prepared the plates we were to use to eat. We all sat in a circle on the ground and ate together. After lunch, I did the dishes and retired to rest.
When I woke up, I couldn’t find Clove so I went out to search for her. I met Devan splitting woods at the back.
“Where’s Clove?” I asked him.
“She went out to attend to something.” He said and I hummed.
“Slept well?” He asked and I nodded. He came to me and pulled up my shirt.
“Whoa, whoa whoa, easy there. Don’t be such a pervert.” I said as I drew my shirt back down. He hissed and pulled it back up.
“I just wanna check your wound.” He said softly and I stopped resisting. He trailed his finger across my scar and my throat felt heavy.
“It’s almost completely healed.” He said as he pulled my shirt down. He raised his head and his gaze met mine and my heart skipped a beat.
“Your eyes are just like hers.” He said.
“Like whose?”
He didn’t reply.
“The one that broke your heart?” I asked and he chuckled. He knocked my head and I winced.
“Don’t let your imagination run too wild.”
“Tch! I wonder why you just can’t tell me. What’s so embarrassing about heartbreak?”
“Just go.”
I smiled and joined him where he was splitting wood. “Can I help?”
He snickered. “You can’t even carry the axe.”
“Try me.”
He shrugged and let go of the axe. He moved out of the way and I went ahead to carry the axe. My first attempt almost detached my arm from my body. I tried again but I still couldn’t carry it. I looked at Devan and he was holding his laugh.
“Come on,”
I attempted again. As I stepped back to carry it, I tripped and almost fell but Devan caught me by my waist.
“I told you. You can’t carry it.” He said and I rolled my eyes.
“Show off,” I said poutingly and he smiled.
A very heartwarming, beautiful smile. My heart fluttered weirdly.
What is this?
Why is my heart beating so fast?
