“Eldest Young Master Jackson ditched you for her?” The leader’s fingers gripped Emily’s lower jaw. Emily felt a sharp pain, but she was helpless as he lifted her face.
The leader turned to look at Wendy, and then back at Emily. The two women—one pure and plain, the other flirtatious and fake—any man would favor one over the other.
More importantly, the plain-looking one was much prettier than the elder sister. No one would believe that Eldest Young Master Jackson had chosen to dump her for that terrified woman at the corner of the room.
“When did Eldest Young Master Jackson break off his engagement with you?” The leader stared into Emily’s eyes as a smile formed on his face.
Things had become more apparent to him. Emily remained silent and stared at him with indifference.
One of the men said, “If I recalled correctly, it was the morning after we returned the other one.”
“Ah!” A smile broke on the leader’s face. He understood why Hunter had done that.
Others might have believed it was for their family’s reputation. One did not have to get engaged or break up solely for personal reasons.
Therefore, when Hunter terminated the engagement, no one would have guessed it was for something so trivial. It was something very insignificant to the outsiders. However, Hunter had done it for significant reasons.
“He broke off the engagement because he wanted to protect you?” How interesting!
Only Eldest Young Master Jackson would have the courage to do such a thing!
“What are you talking about?” Wendy could not accept what she had just heard.
She exclaimed angrily, “He terminated the engagement because he did not want this hideous woman!”
“Hideous?” The leader laughed; he did not even glance at her.
“If she’s hideous, then I’m afraid there are no beautiful women in all of Bentson.”
Wendy wanted to argue with the man, but one of the henchmen slapped her across her face. Wendy screamed loudly and burst into tears, “I am Eldest Young Master Jackson’s woman! He had cast her aside!”
“You would dare to treat me this way? When Eldest Young Master Jackson arrives, he will—Argh!”
The man slapped her again.
Wendy was knocked onto the ground. She no longer had the strength to get up and could only continue to weep desolately on the ground.

The leader curled his lips. His eyes were filled with an uneasy luster. “I shall let you see him. You’ll get to see him very soon.”
“What do you want?” Emily’s eyebrows tightened. She struggled but was unable to budge.
“Take a guess!”
The man seemed to be in a good mood. With a wave of his hand, the two henchmen immediately escorted Emily out of the cabin.
“What the hell do you want? Let me go!”
Emily became more and more uneasy. However, she was not worried about her safety. She did not know anything about their primary objective, but she did know they had targeted Hunter.

He had expected trouble from Paradise Island ever since he took Emily from them last time. However, he did not expect that they would still go after Emily even after he canceled their engagement.
“It’s good that Eldest Young Master Jackson does not like to beat around the bush. Very forthright!” The leader waved his hand. He strode up to them with a glass of wine in his hands.
“Eldest Young Master Jackson, the wine in this glass has been laced with some potent drug. Would you dare to drink it?”
Another henchman stepped forward and shoved a mobile phone at Hunter’s face. On the screen, he saw two men had pinned Emily to the ground. They had not done anything to her, but it looked like they wanted to rip off her clothes.

Hunter shut his eyes before he stepped forward abruptly and grabbed the glass from the man’s hands.
Both Liam and Ewan exclaimed, “Eldest Young Master Jackson!”
