“Eldest Young Master Jackson!” When Liam rushed toward him, the glass in Hunter’s hand was already empty.
Liam was so anxious that he sweated profusely, but he was at a loss. He knew that Hunter would not be able to stay calm if it had anything to do with Emily.
He knew that Emily’s influence over the Eldest Young Master Jackson was more significant than anyone could have ever imagined.
The leader was thrilled when he saw Hunter’s lack of hesitation.
Hunter smashed the glass onto the ground and said, “State your terms. If you dare play any tricks, I promise that you will not get to live to see tomorrow!”
The leader was a little taken aback. Even though victory seemed to be within his grasp, Hunter’s words made him shiver for a moment. Eldest Young Master Jackson’s imposing character was not something that an ordinary person could withstand. His cold aura would terrify anybody.
However, he had the person that Hunter had cared most for. He held the chips, so why would he be afraid?
“Eldest Young Master Jackson, you should know that your previous actions have broken the rules of Paradise Island. Our boss is furious about it.”
“What do you want?” Hunter balled his fists. His face was flushed, but he still maintained a cold tone of voice. “Don’t make me ask a third time!”
“The piece of land on the East side of City L!”
The leader had already prepared the documents. One of the henchmen delivered them to Hunter.
“Just sign this document. When we found a buyer, we…”
He had not finished speaking when Hunter snatched the documents to sign it. He did not even look at it!
Liam sighed discreetly. The eldest young master was afraid that if they dragged on any further, something terrible would happen to Young Madam.
The leader was surprised that Hunter would be so accommodating! If he had known, he would ask for other things as well! Nevertheless, there were rules that they had to abide by. Since he had requested for the land and Hunter compiled, the matter was considered closed.
“Eldest Young Master Jackson, I admire you. However, you have made our boss very unhappy. That still needs to be accounted for.”
“Don’t go overboard with your requests!” Ewan growled.
The leader smiled. “Your people are in our hands. I suggest you skip the unnecessary speech and do not waste any more time.
“You may do as you wish. It is not my concern. However, the two ladies might run out of time.”
Hunter stared at him emotionlessly. “Speak!”
“You may go in alone.” The leader stepped aside and smiled. “Would you dare to do it?”
Hunter took a step forward, but his eyes blurred, and his tall figure swayed.
“Eldest Young Master Jackson!” Liam wanted to grab him, but Hunter pushed him away.
It must have been the wine! What the hell did those b*stards make him drink?
“I will give you half an hour. Your men can only enter after half an hour.”
The leader watched as Hunter walked in and laughed. “Eldest Young Master Jackson, we have not told our men inside about our little agreement. I’m afraid you will have to suffer a little more. Well, if you can make it.”
Liam and Ewan clenched their fists. Even though they were anxious, they could not do anything about it. That was why Eldest Young Master Jackson had to go to Aryastan! One would need an army to have the right to speak!
Everyone knew that Hunter was only a businessman in Bentson. He was at a disadvantage against those lunatics from Paradise Island!
However, based on Eldest Young Master’s temper, would he let others trample over his head? One piece of land could be exchanged for a period of peace. If they could rescue Emily and Wendy, then they would at least be able to live a normal life.
However, Eldest Young Master Jackson was not one to forgive so easily! He would punish anyone who crossed him!
Hunter felt that everything before him started to get increasingly blurry. He was still conscious, but his body temperature had risen, and that indicated the potency of the drug that they had given him!
Suddenly, two masked men rushed out and punched him. Hunter’s eyes darkened as he raised his fists. Without any extra moves, he managed to land a punch on the opponent’s face.
“Argh…” A howl echoed.
The two men who pinned Emily to the ground paused and stared at each other, and then they rushed outside.
Emily quickly picked herself off the ground and adjusted her clothes. She realized that those guys had left the door open. She walked toward the door and saw Hunter as he fought with a dozen men just in front of where they had put her.
Something was wrong! It was apparent that the men wanted to lure him to another place.
Something was amiss with Hunter as well. He managed to throw stronger punches, and that was already beyond Emily’s expectations. Even though he could take down a person with a single blow, something was still off about it!
His tall figure swayed slightly with each step he took! How could such a powerful person like Eldest Young Master Jackson not even walk steadily?
He had been drugged!
Just as Emily wanted to rush toward Hunter, someone appeared from behind the trees and pulled her back.
“Hrmph…” The man had covered her mouth with his hand, so she could not even make a sound.
The man laughed softly. “What’s the rush? You’d get to see your man shortly.”
Emily struggled harder against that man. The man was angry with her actions, and so he slapped her. Her head felt dizzy from the blow.
“Looks closely. Your man will enter that woman’s room soon. Can you guess what’s inside? Oh, have you seen it done over a live broadcast?”
A live broadcast!
Those b*stards! Those b*stards!
She did not even have to guess the identity of the woman in that room. Who else could it be if not Wendy? Who said Wendy was the victim there? If anything were to happen, Wendy would be the happiest person alive!
She would get to be intimate with Eldest Young Master Jackson while it was broadcasted live. The whole of Bentson would know of her relationship with Eldest Young Master Jackson.
It did not matter if Eldest Young Master Jackson was coerced into it. In the end, for the sake of their family’s reputation, Hunter would not be able to abandon after that.
If they were to broadcast the video live on the Internet, how could someone as proud as Eldest Young Master Jackson face it? She would not allow them to tarnish his reputation, absolutely not!
Emily took a deep breath, raised her foot, and kicked backward with all her might.
“Argh!” the man screamed in shock.
“Eldest Young Master Jackson! Hunter! I’m here!” Emily shouted as loud as she could.
Hunter, who had been lured to the wooden hut, stopped and turned to look at the direction of her voice.
He could not see the figure in the distance, but he heard her voice. It was his woman. The woman he had been worried for so long!
Hunter was momentarily distracted. A masked man hit him from behind his back. His tall body swayed a little, but he still managed to stand tenaciously like an indestructible mountain!
The man went for another blow, but Hunter caught the stick as it descended. That stick was as thick as a woman’s arm, but he broke it with a snap!
The men shuddered for a moment. Hunter took advantage of their shock and dashed toward the direction of Emily.
