Elena was City L’s Garcia family and Old Master Garcia’s granddaughter?
Ava was immediately shocked into awareness; she was no longer sleepy. She sat up on the bed abruptly and gripped the cell phone in her hand tightly. Her breathing was fast and erratic.
Most importantly, she was jealous—very, very jealous!
She wanted Elena to die, and she wished she could kill the sl*t with her own hands! Elena was back to haunt her, yet again!
She thought that Elena would be miserable when Eldest Young Master Williams dumped her, but no one expected Second Young Master Sharp to treat her like a jewel.
She had come to terms with that, but City L’s Garcia family had suddenly popped up to claim a relationship with her! The Garcia family from City L was almost as powerful as Bentson’s Williams family!
Why must it always be Elena? Why! It was so unfair! That b*tch was like a cockroach and weed! Completely unkillable!
“What are we going to do? Are we going to let her rise again? No! I can’t give her a chance to shine again! Absolutely not!
“No, the Garcia family’s search for their granddaughter will definitely cause a commotion.”
It was a different situation than when the old madam wanted to acknowledge her granddaughter!
“When the time comes, the Garcia family would surely invite those big shots in the business community just to set the record straight. The Williams family would definitely be invited, as well.”
The Garcia family might still be unaware of the relationship between Ava and Old Madam Williams. However, it would undoubtedly come up if they ran an investigation.
She could hide it from the stupid Old Madam Williams, but there was no way she could hide from the whole Garcia family!
Grace said, “I’m worried about this. If the Garcia family finds out that you are not Talia’s daughter, Eldest Young Master Williams is smart enough to make the next deduction.
“I’ve already told Old Master Garcia that Talia’s daughter is with Eldest Young Master Williams. He would definitely visit the Williams family to find tomorrow morning.”
“You meant…” Ava was startled, and then realization dawned on her. “Me?”
“Of course! If you’re not Talia’s daughter, who else could she be?”
There was no way to stop a lie once it had taken a life. They would have to tell more lies to make it even more convincing. They could no longer turn back.
Ava calmed down and finally understood the purpose of Grace’s urgent call.
“I’m afraid we can’t handle this matter ourselves.”
“That’s exactly what I’m thinking.” Grace nodded to herself.
Ava thought about it for a while before she pursed her lips. “I’ll look for them and see if there’s any other way.”

Elena slept so deeply that she was dumbstruck when she woke up and saw the time on the clock. It was already half-past seven! She had a class at eight in the morning!
“I’m gonna be late!” The petite girl dashed into the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. She was in a hurry.
Henry was enjoying his breakfast as he read the news. “Come on; you’re not going to make it.”
Elena grunted. If not for the toothbrush in her mouth, she would have grumbled at him. He did not even wake her even though he got up early! There was no way for her to get to her class on time!
She splashed some water onto her face, and when she turned her head, she saw the red marks on her neck. That was from the previous night when Michael forced himself on her in the car. He had left those marks on her.
Misery almost overwhelmed her until she pulled her t-shirt to cover it. She did not want anyone to see them even though she was alone in the bathroom. After a quick attempt to freshen up, Elena returned to the room to change into her day clothes.
“There’s breakfast outside…” Henry opened the door to her room. “You…”
“ARGH! Idiot! Get out!”
Elena had just taken off her pajamas. She held her clothes tightly to her chest, grabbed a soft pillow, then threw it at him.
The magnificent Second Young Master of the Sharp family, who had engaged in secret training with Michael and his other friends since childhood, could not even dodge a soft pillow.
It hit his face with a soft thud. He stretched his hand out to catch it casually. When he looked up, all he saw was a flash of snowy-whiteness that rushed into the bathroom with some clothes.
Then, the bathroom door slammed shut.
“I… That… It wasn’t intentional. I was afraid that you’d be late, so I came to tell you to hurry up.”
He called out toward the closed bathroom door, but his lips curled up slightly. Did he see skin as white as snow? Yes, but it was not intentional. Why did his nose feel a little itchy, then?
Henry raised the back of his hand and wiped his nose. He froze when he saw the bright red stain on the back of his hand. Damn it! Did he have a nosebleed with just a single glance? How embarrassing!
Elena bit into a piece of dry bread and took a small carton of milk before she left the apartment.
Henry had to send her to the university, so he did not have enough time to deal with his nosebleed. There was still a little tinge of scarlet on his nose.
“You’re an idiot! Retribution came fast for you!” Elena pulled a tissue to wipe his nose.
“How about you wipe my saliva too?” The man’s face leaned over as he kept his hands on the steering wheel.
“Can you please drive properly?”
“I am driving properly! But when I think of that white skin, I can’t help but feel a little… well, my nose is still itchy.”
“It’s like you’ve never seen a woman before!” Elena rolled her eyes at him.
“I’ve never seen one so beautiful.” That was the truth!
“Yeah, right!” That man seemed to have gotten more eloquent in his speech. Did he have a master who taught him all those skills?
Henry simply smiled and said nothing more.
Elena studied throughout their drive to the university. She reached home too late that night and so she did not have any time to review her homework. There was supposed to be a quiz that day, and it was a pre-exam test.
She was a bit worried that she would not be able to keep up with her schoolwork. Her semester had been riddled with disaster and difficulties. She had not paid proper attention to her classes. It was not easy to make up for all of that.
“Don’t panic. I’ll help you when you’re home tonight.”
“Really?” Henry had a very unique teaching method, and it helped her to understand her lessons easily.
“Hmm.” When did he ever lie to her?
Elena was relieved, so she continued to study. When they approached the entrance of the university, Henry received a phone call. Elena could not hear the other party’s words, but his face stiffened for a brief moment.
“What’s wrong? What happened?” Elena immediately noticed that something was not right.
“Everything’s okay.” Henry parked the car at the university’s entrance.
As Elena was about to get out of the car, he softly called out, “Elena.”
“Hmm?” Elena turned back, and she noticed his hesitance. However, he only said, “Be careful while you’re on the road.”
“What’s the matter? I’ll be at university. What dangers will there be?”
Elena pondered about it, and then, she waved at him. She got out of the car and strode briskly toward the gate. Her legs had been sore throughout the ride, but she acted as if everything was fine for Henry’s sake.
When she turned and saw Henry’s car driving away, she finally felt relieved and slowed her footsteps. She had been tortured by Michael for nearly two hours the previous night, and her legs were sore and hurt badly. Along the way, she felt an unspeakable anguish that made her incredibly uncomfortable.
However, time was running out. She took a deep breath, hoisted her backpack, and then hastened her footsteps.
She did not expect a figure would spring out from the trees to slam right into her…
