“I’m here to donate my money to the cause! Where do I sign up?” The guards immediately descended upon him, trying to escort him out of the event. But the man wouldn’t go quietly, “Hey, what’s the big idea? I just wanted to show my support with my wallet! It’s not like I brought a llama in here or anything!” The guests erupted into laughter at the a drunk antics as the guards finally managed to drag him out of the event.
The company was hosting a fundraising and fashion event, and the atmosphere was electric. The party was buzzing with excitement, with media outlets covering the event from every angle. The models were dressed to the nines, walking down the runway with confidence and poise. The guests were all dressed in their finest attire, sipping champagne and admiring the stunning fashion on display.
Leo, who was one of the key speakers of the evening, made his way to the stage. The room fell silent as he began his speech, speaking about the company’s commitment to supporting charitable causes. His powerful voice carried across the room, and everyone was captivated by his words.
As Leo spoke, Rachel busied herself with back to their steamy moment in her kitchen. She couldn’t help but feel a blush spread across her cheeks as she remembered the way he looked at her, the way his hands felt on her skin.
Just then, Leo caught her eye, and he gave her a knowing wink. Rachel felt her heart skip a beat, and she couldn’t help but smile back. She was glad she had made the decision to attend the event, and she was grateful for the moment she was sharing with Leo.
As Rachel made her way through the throngs of people, her mind was on the model that had just stumbled on the runway. She could hear the murmurs and whispers of the crowd as they pressed forward, eager for a better view. Suddenly, she thought she saw someone that looked familiar. She couldn’t quite place the face, but the woman looked eerily similar to someone she knew.
Rachel pushed her way through the crowd, determined to get a closer look. She followed the woman, who was now quickly making her way towards the exit. Just as Rachel was about to call out to her, a hand reached out and grabbed her arm.
“Miss,” the man whispered in her ear, “I have something important to tell you.”
Rachel was taken aback by the man’s sudden appearance and the urgency in his voice. She looked up at him, her eyes full of confusion.
“What is it?” she asked.
“I know the truth about your father’s accident,” the man said, his voice low and filled with concern. “It wasn’t a gang member that caused the accident. It was an associate.”
Rachel’s mind was racing as she tried to process the information.

Leo took a sip of his scotch, savoring the smoky flavor as he looked around the room. The fundraising event was going well, and the numbers were looking good. They had already met their estimated mark for the evening, and everything seemed to be going smoothly.
As he glanced around the room, he saw Rachel walking away from the party, and he felt a pang of concern. She had been acting a little off lately, and he was worried that something was bothering her. He was about to follow her when he was suddenly surrounded by a throng of reporters.
“Leo! Leo! Can you tell us about the new product line?” one reporter shouted, shoving a microphone in his face.
Leo laughed, taking a step back. “Whoa, whoa! One at a time, folks. I’m just here to support a good cause, you know?”
He answered their questions, joking and making small talk as he worked his way through the crowd. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he managed to escape the throng of reporters.
Just as he was about to go after Rachel, he was stopped by a board member. “Leo, can I have a moment of your time? I need to discuss something with you,” the man said, leading him towards the bar.
Leo sighed, but he couldn’t deny the request. They sat down at the bar and ordered drinks, the board member launching into a lengthy discussion about a business issue. Leo tried to listen attentively, but his mind was elsewhere. He kept glancing towards the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of Rachel.
As the discussion droned on, he couldn’t help but worry. He had a feeling that something was wrong, and he needed to be there for Rachel. He excused himself from the conversation and sent her a quick text.
“Hey, are you okay? I’m worried about you. Let’s talk when you’re ready.”
He put his phone back in his pocket and tried to focus on the conversation, but his mind was still elsewhere.
As Leo walked away from the party and towards his hotel room, he started to feel increasingly dizzy and lightheaded. He tried to shake it off, but the feeling only seemed to worsen with each step he took. The bright lights and loud noise from the party didn’t help either. He knew he needed to excuse himself from the board member and find someplace quiet to regain his composure.
As he stumbled along the corridor, he saw someone who looked like Rachel approach him. He rubbed his eyes, trying to clear his vision, but the figure only got closer. He felt his knees buckle and he stumbled forward, barely catching himself on the door handle of his hotel room. He pushed the door open and stumbled inside, taking the “Rachel” figure down with him as he fell onto the bed.
He was in a haze, but he could feel the weight of the person on top of him, their body pressing against his. He started to feel a sense of confusion and panic rising inside him, but before he could react, he heard a voice that was unmistakably Rachel’s.
“Leo, are you okay?” she asked, concern in her voice.
He opened his eyes, finally able to see her clearly, and let out a sigh of relief. “Yes, I’m fine,” he said, his voice still groggy. “I just needed to get away from the party and rest for a moment.”
She sat up, worry etched on her face. “What’s going on? You look like you’re not feeling well.”
Leo sat up, still feeling unsteady, and leaned against the headboard. “I don’t know. I was feeling fine at the party, but then all of a sudden, I started to feel dizzy and lightheaded. I don’t know what’s causing it.”
She moved closer, putting a hand on his forehead. “You don’t have a fever, but you look pale. Maybe you should see a doctor tomorrow and get checked out.”
Leo nodded, feeling grateful for her concern. “Yeah, maybe you’re right. I’ll make an appointment first thing in the morning.”
She smiled and leaned in for a kiss. “Just get some rest for now, okay? I’ll be here with you.”
Leo leaned into the kiss, feeling a sense of comfort in her embrace.
