As Rachel finished up at work the next day, she felt a sense of unease wash over her. The plumbing issue at her home was still not resolved and she desperately needed it fixed. She attempts to call the plumber she had spoken to the previous day, but to her disappointment, the plumber informs her that he wouldn’t be available for the next few days. She sighs in frustration, feeling helpless and not knowing what to do.
As she sat at her desk, lost in her thoughts, she heard a deep voice behind her, “Rachel, need some help? I heard everything ” She turned around to see Leo standing behind her, a kind smile on his face. She hesitated for a moment, unsure if she wanted him to help her, but the eagerness in his voice convinces her otherwise.

Leo quickly finished up his work at the office and they drove to Rachel’s home in his car. As they approached her house, Rachel’s heart began to race. She realized that her mother, Madeline, was not around and she and Leo were alone. She tried to push down the excitement she felt, but it was hard to ignore the way her heart was beating out of her chest.
Leo set to work fixing the plumbing issue, displaying his expertise and efficiency.
Rachel giggled as she watched Leo work on fixing the plumbing. “So, Mr. Handyman, do you do this kind of work often?” she asked, with a playful smile on her face.
Leo shot her a quick grin, his concentration not breaking from the task at hand. “I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades,” he said. “Fixing plumbing is just one of my many talents.”
“It’s nothing though” Leo added, shrugging. “It’s just a matter of understanding the right tools and techniques.”
Hey, do you have a towel I can use?” Leo asked, as he stood up from fixing the plumbing and wiped his hands on his pants.
Rachel raised her eyebrows in surprise. “Yeah, sure,” she said, quickly turning around and heading to the bathroom to grab a towel.
When she returned with it, she noticed that Leo had taken off his shirt and was wiping down his singlet. The sight of his muscular physique caught her off guard and she couldn’t help but gawk at his defined abs and broad chest.
“Here you go,” she said, handing him the towel.
Leo took the towel from her and started drying himself off. “Thanks,” he said, smiling at her.
Leo smiled, finally finishing his work. “There,” he said, standing up and wiping his hands on his pants. “All done. No more leaky faucet for you.”
“Thank you.”
Loe read the arousal in her eyes and without wasting any time, he picked her, setting her on the counter.
They were on thereway to make out for a while, kissing and touching but just as Rachel and Leo were lost in their embrace, the sound of the front door slamming open interrupted their moment.
Rachel’s mother had come home, and the look of surprise on her face as she took in the sight of her daughter and Leo was palpable. Rachel quickly pulled away from Leo, feeling embarrassed to be caught in such a compromising position. Her mother’s eyes flicked between them,
“Mom” she called out awkwardly, her cheeks flushing as she scratched her head. “You’re back.”

Over the weekend, Madeline didn’t shy away from expressing her discontent with Rachel and Leo’s impromptu kitchen island moment. Rachel, being her playful self, teased her back, making light of the situation.
Just as Rachel was ending her conversation with Celine and checking in on her, her phone rang from a private number.
“Hello?”
The raspy voice came through “Rachel, it’s me.”
“Who is this?”
“I think you know who I am.”
“Sorry, I’m afraid I don’t.”
The caller chuckled. “It’s okay. I’ll give you a hint. We spoke last week about a certain matter.”
Rachel paused “Ah, yes. I remember now. What do you want?”
“I need you to meet me at the Red Rose Restaurant in an hour.”
Rachel was surprised “What? Why?”
“There are some things we need to discuss.”
Rachel was suspicious ” I don’t think that’s a good idea. Can’t we just talk over the phone?”
His voice was firm this time “No. This is something that has to be done in person.”
Rachel sighed “Fine. I’ll be there.”
“Good. I’ll see you soon.” The voice said before the line went dead.
Rachel immediately informed Leo about the call and he sprang into action, stationing his guards to keep an eye on her from a distance, ensuring her safety.
She arrived at the designated restaurant in a cab and took a seat as soon as she got inside, scanning the crowd for any sign of the mysterious caller.
The restaurant was located in a bustling area of the city, surrounded by high-rise buildings and busy streets. As she walked in, the first thing she noticed was the buzz of activity that filled the room. The sound of glasses clinking, people talking, and laughter filled the air.
The restaurant was dimly lit with soft lights that created a cozy atmosphere. The walls were adorned with elegant paintings and photographs that added to the ambiance of the place. The bartenders were dressed in sleek black attire and were busy pouring drinks and mixing cocktails for the customers.
As she waited, she ordered a drink to calm her nerves. The minutes ticked by and the man never showed up.
She finished her drink, left a generous tip and made her way over to an unsuspecting area where Leo was hunched over a beer, his cowboy hat hiding his identity completely.
As Rachel sat in front of him, sipping her drink, she couldn’t shake the feeling that the man she was supposed to meet had gotten scared and backed out because of the discreet guards trailing her. She glanced around the busy bar, watching as waiters and bartenders rushed back and forth, trying to keep up with the demands of the crowded establishment.
