Kate did not dare beat around the bush, and she simply revealed what she knew.
“I met him in M Country at the time. The hypnotist’s surname is Li. He’s a man who can speak Chinese…” As she got to that point, she discovered that she knew very little of the hypnotist.
Tim then followed up. “What’s his name? Where does he live, and how old is he?”
“I have no idea.” Kate knew nothing about that and could only shake her head vigorously.
“At that time, Dr. Li sent someone to pick us up. I don’t know where he lives. He was wearing a mask that obscured his face, and I don’t know his age either…”
Tim frowned as he heard that. “Ms. Emerson, with things as they are, you have no need to hide anymore. I’m sure you are very aware of that.”
Since Kate and Leonardo’s relationship had deteriorated to such a stage, if Kate had a brain, she would not hide anything from them.
Hearing that, Kate was also anxious. “I’m telling the truth. I have no reason to deceive you now.”
Tim turned to Leonardo. “Young Master, what do you…”
Leonardo looked down at Kate, and the latter had a glint of fear in her eyes as she shrunk back.
She was really terrified of Leonardo now.
Leonardo said impassively, “Leave. It’s best that you don’t let me see you again.”
Kate’s face was totally pale, but she knew that saying anything more was pointless, so she staggered up and left.
As soon as she left, Leonardo ordered, “Go and investigate.”
“Understood,” Tim responded and left.
The information Kate gave them was too vague. An expert hypnotist that could speak Mandarin.
Such a simple message was simple yet difficult in equal measure.
The ability to hypnotize someone to block off their memories meant that the person must be one of the best in that field.
There had to only be a few people like that in the field, and with Leonardo’s power and influence, it would not be difficult to investigate.
Yet, on the other hand, Kate was still a cautious person, she must have checked through the hypnotist’s background, yet from what she said, she had not done that.

Due to the call Tim made to Summer, she had to prepare lunch in advance.
If Leonardo was not coming back for lunch, she would simply cook according to her and Rosie’s tastes.
Conversely, if Leonardo was coming back for lunch, she would need to make something he liked.
When she was done cooking, Leonardo had yet to come home.
She had taken a lot of pictures for Rosie, and there was a photo printer in the villa, so she printed them out.
While Leonardo had yet to come back, she took the photos out and laid them on the carpet as she watched them with Rosie.
Some of the photos were Rosie’s, some of them were a group photo of Rosie and Summer, and there were solo shots of Summer as well.
Just as she and Rosie were admiring the photos, Leonardo came back.
Rosie’s eyes were sharp, and the moment she saw Leonardo walk in, she waved at him like an adult. “Kate, come here and see.”
Leonardo glanced at Rosie, and the latter returned a flattering smile. “Hehe”
As she said that, she agilely got up from the carpet and pounced into Summer’s arms before turning to Leonardo with a mischievous smile. Her series of movements were very smooth yet somewhat exaggerated.
The child was sensitive, and she could feel that Leonardo would not be angry at Summer, so if she caused trouble, she would just hide behind Summer.
Sure enough, Leonardo only glanced at her for a moment before looking away.
“Lunch is ready. Go and eat first.” Summer only glanced at him when he came in and was focused on looking at the photos.
Her daughter was a beauty, and she looked as good in the pictures as she did in real life.
Hearing that, Leonardo did not proceed to eat but reached forward to take a photo from Summer’s hands.
Summer looked up and hissed angrily. “There are so many on the ground, don’t you know how to take one yourself?”
Leonardo’s fingers pinched the edge of the photo and handed it to Summer before asking, “You took these?”
“Who else? Have you taken photos with Rosie before?”
Summer had just casually asked, yet as soon as her voice trailed off, she heard Leonardo’s reply. “No.”
“You…” Summer wanted to nag at him, but considering that he was usually so busy at work, being able to raise Rosie itself was already commendable. She could only sigh.
Summer had taken a lot of photos of Rosie and printed a load of them as well. The carpet was littered with them.
Leonardo looked at the pictures, and the images flashed past his mind.
It was like having many of Summer’s photos… inside a room…
Soon the image flickered and turned into a different one.
Leonardo held his head as he staggered and fell sitting on the carpet.
Summer was stunned for a moment as she saw that. She placed Rosie aside and walked to Leonardo’s side.
“Leonardo, what’s wrong?” As Summer said that, she recalled his condition now was similar to that time in the study.
Leonardo was frowning hard, and fine beads of sweat had formed on his forehead as he clenched his jaw. He looked like he was in pain.
From their previous encounter, Summer knew that she alone could not move him, so she did not act. Instead, she leaned forward and asked, “I’ll get someone to send you to the hospital?”
Leonardo did not answer her and just lay on the carpet.
Upon seeing Leonardo’s condition, Rosie got up too and ran over. As she sat beside him, she called out carefully, “Daddy?”
Summer suddenly remembered that Rosie was still around.
Leonardo could scare her.
Summer immediately picked Rosie up and said comfortingly, “Daddy’s sick. He’ll be fine once he goes to the hospital to see the doctor.”
“Sick?” Rosie covered her stomach with her hands and said with realization, “Daddy’s belly hurts.”
Perhaps Rosie had a stomach ache before and thought that Leonardo was also having one.
Summer repeated gently, “Yes, Daddy’s belly is hurting.”
She then called a maid, and after the latter carried Rosie away, she called the bodyguard to help Leonardo onto the car and send him to the hospital.
After all, since they were living under the same roof, Summer decided to accompany him to the hospital together.
She sat with Leonardo on the back seat, and Leonardo was in a semi-conscious state, and could barely sit up straight.
Summer could only hold on to him, and let him lean on her.
After getting to the hospital with much effort, as soon as the car stopped, the bodyguard opened the door to help Leonardo down.
However, the moment the bodyguard’s hand touched Leonardo, he opened his eyes.
The bodyguard was startled and called out, “Young Master?”
Leonardo’s eyes were rather murky at first, but soon clarity returned.
He sat up straight and asked, “What are you doing?”
