CHAPTER 152 (55)

Book:Her possessive alpha Published:2024-6-2

Flashback encounter
Had it been any other person, Kiron would have sent his guard back to caution her and tell her to wait until he was done, but for this poor young lady who’d been through so much already, he decided a few minutes off his teaching time wouldn’t hurt his men.
He muttered a small apology to his trainees, nodding to his guard before leaving the field to head towards Sabrina’s direction. She gave a small smile upon seeing him approach her.
“Thank you for coming. I know that it’s wrong of me to disturb you when you’re so busy but I felt this couldn’t just wait… can I have a moment with you alone? ”
Kiron nodded to Ciel before he got the message, bowed in respect and left them to return to the training ground.
“Now we are alone as you’ve requested Sabrina, you should be glad that you came to me in my happiest of moods; not everyone gets this kind of privilege.”
“Thank you for the privilege gamma Kiron. I really appreciate it.”
“So, what did you come here for?”
“I need you to help me do something, there’s a message I want you to deliver for the alpha for me.”
He couldn’t believe his ears; he wants him, a whole gamma to deliver a message on behalf of an omega. Is she mad or something? He began to check himself well, there were no mirrors on the field, else he would have checked to see if he looked like an errand boy.
“Sabrina, perhaps you are not aware…”
She quickly grabbed his hand and placed the letter in it, canting some words, “you will deliver this message to the alpha whether you like it or not…”
That’s it! she’s gone too far, he tried snatching his hand away from her before planning to yell at her, but suddenly, it felt as if something overtook his mind and body at that instant. He was conscious and well aware of his environment, he was in his right senses, but he suddenly felt his body being compelled, trapped by some strong force to do Sabrina’s bidding.
And then as if it wasn’t enough that he wasn’t able to refuse, he found himself saying the words he never wished to say….
“I will deliver this message to the alpha whether I like it or not,” he then took the letter from her hand, and watched as Sabrina placed a wide grin on her face. Dear goddess, who is this woman and what has she done to him?
She continued the cants….
“When you deliver this message, you will not tell Lucas De’ Clan that I gave it to you; you will tell him that you received it from the supreme council messenger Dillion, you will state that the council summons him. And after you deliver this message, you will never tell a soul about your encounter with me.”
“When I deliver this message, I will not tell Lucas De’ Clan that you gave it to me; I will tell him that I received it from the supreme council messenger Dillion, I will state that the council summons him. And after I deliver this message, I will never tell a soul about my encounter with you.”
“Good, you may go ahead now. And thank you gamma Kiron, you’ve been of so much help to me today.”
After repeating all her words like a robot, he turned and began his journey back to the packhouse, holding Sabrina’s letter in his hand. He couldn’t stop himself; he couldn’t control himself, he just kept on walking in the direction Sabrina had sent him, leaving all his men to gape behind him as he left to deliver the message.
***END OF FLASHBACK***
That action of his got him into serious trouble with alpha Lucas that day. Of course, the letter turned out to be forged, and because of Sabrina’s command, he couldn’t bring himself to confess the truth as to where the letter really came from.
Thankfully, the alpha forgot his case because of what happened with Ava that day, but still… it pained him a lot because he knew he was guilty of betraying the alpha, he’d lied through his teeth to his master, something he’d never do in his right senses. It all happened, not because he meant for it, but because of some words spoken to him by this strange woman, words that no matter how much he fought it, he couldn’t refuse. It was like his body had a mind of its own, prompting him to do whatever Sabrina wished without any hint of hesitation.
No doubt, there’s a form of mystical power Sabrina somehow used to control him, but he could do nothing about it since he couldn’t talk about his encounter to anyone.
But now Ava is back, and she has claims that Sabrina is a witch, she even risked her own life to come here because of this. Before now, he would never take the word of a prisoner for anything, because in his time past as a guard, he knows that prisoners are always desperate, especially the ones yet to be killed, they can say anything just to escape, but this time, all because of his encounter that day, he’ll try to believe her.
True, he hasn’t seen the alpha since she left, but if there’s any more truth to Ava’s words, then it means he must see things for himself. He’d already reached the alpha’s chambers before his mind travelled back to the real world, with not a moment to lose, he knocked on the door.
“Who is it?” Came Sabrina’s voice from inside.
“It’s gamma Kiron, I’m here to meet with the alpha.”
“What for?”
“I’m sorry, but it’s a delicate matter between alpha Lucas and I that can’t be discussed with anyone else. I need to see him now!”
“Go away! Alpha Lucas does not wish to be disturbed. If you can’t tell me what it is, then begone!”
Of course, how could he have let this happen? For the past weeks, his thoughts have been occupied with the fear of the punishment alpha Lucas would serve him because of the false letter, he didn’t even realize that he’d unknowingly been giving power to a lowly ranker by avoiding the alpha for so long.
“You have no right to stop me from entering this room Sabrina, let me in or I’ll force my way inside!”
“Do you risk getting into trouble with the alpha simply because you refuse to listen? He doesn’t need anyone now, get out!” She yelled back.
The guards at the front entrance weren’t standing there at the moment, but Kiron didn’t need any assistance. With the full force of his shoulder, he struck the door down, breaking the locks. This gamma was truly strong, he met Sabrina standing at the outer chambers, all form of evidence of her enchantments gone, like she knew what the gamma was going to do before hiding her charms.
Kiron ignored her and proceeded to go inside, but Sabrina ran to stand in his way.
“You’ll do no such thing! Breaking in is a mighty offence on its own, but trying to flout his directions further, I won’t allow it!”
