That information had a great impact on Brucille. Culver Huo had become his number one enemy.
After the event, Monique left with the hospital staff.
Francis whispered to Brucille, “Don’t worry, Brucille. I’ll keep an eye on the guy. For now, let’s have a drink.”
At that instant, Brucille was in no mood to drink. After all, the enemy had infiltrated into his home territory.
He ordered, “Help me keep an eye on this person. Tell me everything he does. I’m going home first.”
Tommy watched in puzzlement.
After Brucille left, he said, “Francis, have you noticed that Brucille is not the same as before? His gaze was full of aggression, like a leopard waiting for its prey.”
Scratching his chin, Francis mused, “Man, it’s like he’s suddenly a bit more cultured. He’s wild, brimming with the spirit of a leopard. But I like it.”
“In any case, since Brucille has instructed me to do so, I will help him to keep an eye on the man,” he continued. “Besides, I have so many people under my command and they are available… By the way, let’s go and have a drink.”
Tommy rejected with great disgust, “Let’s not. Last time when I was drunk, you groped my chest. If you’re going to be such a pervert with me, you might as well get a woman to drink with you. I am going to look for my little cutie!”
“Little cutie?”
Before Francis could figure out what was going on, Tommy had already left.
He had previously groped him by mistake. At that time, he had thought Tommy was a female drinking buddy. However, that incident led to a misunderstanding and even suspicion about his sexual orientation.
Recalling that horrible incident, Francis couldn’t help but shiver. He decided he would have his men keep an eye on Culver Huo.
Flynt was Francis’ right-hand man. The way they became acquainted was rather extraordinary, to say the least. When Francis had been shopping in a mall, he was mugged by Flynt. When Francis caught up with him later, he took him as his younger brother.
Flynt was an expert thief. In less than 30 seconds, he could strip all the money from a person’s body.
That infamous thief had also miraculously disappeared without a trace from the police station, proving the level of his disguise and professional skills.
However, ever since Francis took him in, he had at his beck and command. Apart from the occasional theft, he no longer did anything illegal.
And on that day, he was tailing Culver.
At the moment, Culver was driving his luxury car to a hotel. Flynt followed him quickly until Culver entered the room 1314.
After confirming the location of the room, Flynt rushed down to the parking lot. He took out a food delivery uniform and quickly put them on.
Then, he brought a takeout box from the trunk and then swaggered into the hotel lobby.
At the sight of him, the security guard quickly intercepted him, asking, “Which room ordered the takeout?”
“Sir, there is a valuable diamond ring in the box. It is a birthday gift that the gentleman asked me to give to his girlfriend. If you destroy it, you will be in serious trouble.”
As Flynt spoke, he opened the small red wooden box. There was indeed a huge diamond ring inside. The corner of the security guard’s mouth twitched. Did people use a food delivery service to send diamond rings nowadays?
Was the 5% commission per order still valid in that transaction?
Soon, Flynt successfully arrived at room 1314 with a delivery backpack on his back. He knocked on the door softly.
A moment later, the door opened and Flynt politely said, “Excuse me, are you Mr. Wong? This is the takeout which you have ordered.”
Culver replied in confusion, “I’m not Mr. Wong and I didn’t ask for a takeout. You have the wrong room.”
“No, it clearly says room 1814 on my list.”
The bare-chested Culver responded with great displeasure, “See? My room number clearly says 1314!”
“I’m really sorry, sir. I’m really sorry for the interruption.”
As soon as the door slammed shut, Flynt took off his glasses and quickly returned to the car. The glasses were equipped with a miniature pinhole camera, and everything in the room was clearly photographed.
Judging from the photo, there was probably a woman in the room. There was a red bag on the bed, a woman’s skirt was strewn on the couch, and a pair of high heels was by the bedside.
Just at a glance, the man was obviously on a date with a woman. However, the identity still needed to be confirmed.
Flynt did not leave. He had to monitor his target for 24 hours.
Jerry, another subordinate of Francis, had already found out about Culver’s marriage in another country. He sent the information to Francis.
Francis forwarded the information to Brucille without even looking at it.
From the information received, Brucille discovered that Culver had married three years ago, and Culver’s wife Josephine was Monique’s senior from the same school. However, Josephine Hsu’s identity was not simple.
She was the daughter of Henderson Hsu, the president of the Hsu Group. That was to say, Culver was very much like himself, a man who lived off his wife.
According to the information, Culver’s achievements were entirely dependent on his father-in-law.
Brucille stared at the photo of Josephine on the computer screen. The woman was charming. It could not outshine Monique’s pure and innocent image.
The matter troubled him so much that he found it hard to sleep at night. A man who had been married for years was still thinking about his wife.
But from Monique’s actions that night, it was hard to say if there was any special relationship between the two of them.
The next morning, Monique went to work early. Tyrion followed suit while Sabrina left the house too.
Again, Brucille was left alone in the house. Suddenly, he felt a sharp jab of loneliness; he felt truly alone.
Elsewhere, Flynt had kept watch on the hotel the entire night from a nearby cafe. His hard work paid off eventually as he saw Josephine leaving the hotel.
He had sold himself out the previous night. Spending 1500 yuan to bribe the receptionist at the front desk, he confirmed that room 1314 was booked under Josephine’s name, which meant that the couple had spent the night at the hotel.
At the thought of it, he felt satisfied. However, Flynt could not do anything when Josephine left the hotel. Therefore, he had to ask Jerry to follow her while he continued to keep an eye on Culver.
After a while, Culver walked out of the hotel with a happy glow on his face. He treaded lightly and quickly, and soon he drove away in his car while Flynt followed behind him closely.
The car soon stopped at the parking lot in a business center. Then Culver wandered around the first floor of the mall. It seemed that he was picking out some jewelry.
However, he kept fiddling with his cell phone. From Flynt’s many years of experience, his intuition told him that Culver wasn’t buying a present for his wife. There must be something fishy about him.
