” Durban. You stand there and watch a peasant disrespect Uriel. I can’t believe this.” Sighed Gallagher in a hiss oriented tenor that made the crowds brim in fear.
” Forgive me my Lord. On it!” Durban shouted as he lanced through the spaces like a lynx and landed at the back of the freedom fighter who had a sickle in his hand.
” A sickle huh. Perfect for the harvest.” Whispered Durban in a ghostly tenor before snatching it off the hands of the peasant who got startled and tried to run. It was too late. Durban grabbed his hair as if they were some rice stem and with the speed of light, swiped off his head with the Sickle he had snatched from him. The body of the young farmer fell to the floor, twitching and wriggling while it splashed blood on the dudes beside it.
” Anyone who tries to run would be part of the circus show! Like I always say. No freedom fighters are allowed on my space. Poor farmer would be burnt in hell as well for disrespecting Uriel.” Said Gallagher as he watched Durban turning around in Circles to show the villagers the face of their freedom fighters. There was lots of crying in the stadium but no one dared to run away.
” Pay up your bills. The holy Angel is not pleased when her servants have sleepless nights and is not rewarded accordingly.” Said Gallagher and left the pavilion while majority of the crowd who were not crying, murmured bitterly as they paid the money to the rest of the gang.
” Hey Durban Discard that trash and, let’s pay some old friends a visit.” Said Gallagher as he mounted his bike.
” Aye Boss. Let’s go there!” Said Durban and flung the head so far away it almost went over the stadium walls. He fired up his motorcycles and drove off after his boss. He was very much aware about where they were going and he was very much ready to dole out his usual those of ruthlessness if the need was to arise. Soon, they arrived at a small cottage where a young boy of about six to seven years old was playing with a plastic ball in the unkempt lawn of the cottage when he noticed the presence of the two strange men.
” Good… day sir.” stuttered the chubby lad as he stood fascinated by the beauty of the bikes especially that of Gallagher.
” Hello my boy. How are you doing today? Playing soccer huh. What are you, Ronaldo huh? ” Said Gallagher as he ushered the child to give him a hug.
” That’s my boy. Where is your mother.” Gallagher asked with great enthusiasm.
” she is inside the kitchen, preparing breakfast.” said the boy and innocently pointed at door to the cottage .
” breakfast Eh. I see. Matilda! Matilda!” shouted Gallagher and pulled out a dagger from his pocket.
” Oh Goodness, Ramsey! My Baby.” Shouted Matilda, the mother of the boy.
” Step back you urchin! You owe me money from last month and still have the guts to boycott my meeting at the stadium today. I see, So you thought I would forget right. So pathetic of you.” Said Gallagher as held the frightened child by his shoulder.
” Mercy my Lord. Please have mercy on a poor widow my Lord. Since my husband died things have been pretty rough for us. We rely heavily on our two cows to earn a living. It’s really been difficult. But I would pay I swear.” Said the woman as she cried for in fear for the safety of her only child.
” Pay to whom, my skeleton in a casket? Ingrates!” Shouted Gallagher.
“Master this lady is an ingrate. If it was not for you my Lord, the werewolves would have taken all your cattle and then taken your damn son as a snack to. Today you have two cows and a healthy son yet she refuses to pay her tax. Damn!” shouted Durban in a intoxicated manner.
” The Mother angel is not pleased with you Matilda. No matter how broke you are, you still manage to put a morsel or two in the large trench you call a mouth. Yet you leave the servants of Uriel to starve to death.” Said Gallagher, sighed softly and continued ” You peeps don’t know how good you have it that the black roses are always in bloom. The day we wither away. You all would be cleansed by the forces of the night. I believe you though, times are hard. It shows on the hair of your boy. He has some excess hair on his head and perhaps some excess flesh right there to. Don’t worry though, I will give him a free hair cut with my dagger here.” Said Gallagher and flashed the shining dagger before ferociously grabbing the curly hairs of the lad causing his mother to scream in horror.
