“What is wrong with you? Why are you acting so paranoid? It’s just a call.” He told her as he moved back, making sure she didn’t reach the phone, and she stared at him angrily.
“It’s my phone; you didn’t get it for me, and as such, I don’t want your hands on it ever again. Got it?” She asked him angrily as she moved closer to him, trying to get her phone, but he wasn’t going to give it to her; he wouldn’t give it to her so easily.
“Who was on the call? Tell me, why are you acting so strangely all because of a call?” He asked her, and she rolled her eyes as she stared at him.
“It’s my phone, my life; you have no right to question me about it. Got it?” She asked him as she flipped her hair. “Now give me my phone.” She told him, and he made her take it when he grabbed her by the waist, pulling her closer to himself as he whispered slowly into her ears.
“I won’t give it to you; make me.” He told her, and that seductive voice made shivers run down her spine. She swallowed as she stared at him. It was good he was holding her up because if he wasn’t, because of how seductive his voice had sounded and how weak her knees had now become, she would have fallen to the ground.
“Do you really want me to make you give the phone back to me?” She asked him as she smirked, and he chuckled.
“Do you really want to?” He asked her, still maintaining that seductive tone, and she pushed him away, causing the phone to fall out of his hands.
She stared at him, and he stared at her, and before they knew it, both of them diverted their gaze to the oj Ken, which was now on the floor.
She pushed him away, and just as she wanted to grab the phone, he pulled her back to himself, slowly pushing her to the bed. Before she could get up, he grabbed the phone and smirked at her. “Want this?” He asked her, and she clenched her fists angrily as she stared at him.
“Give me back my phone, Daniel.” She told him angrily, and he chuckled.
“I won’t.” He told her and turned, making to leave the room when she rushed to him, hugging him from behind, and his eyes widened in confusion.
What was she doing? Why did she suddenly come to hug him? He knew she was planning something; she was never going to come and hug him so suddenly if she didn’t have a plan.
“What are you doing?” He asked her, and she chuckled as she walked until she was in front of him.
“Just give me back my phone, and trust me, you’re going to like my surprise.” She told him as she wrapped her hands around his neck, taking one out as she started to caress his chest.
He stared at her; his heart was beginning to beat fast, and hers too. She was only doing this to get the phone from him, but then she was having her heart race.
She swallowed as she continued to caress his chest. “Do you like it like this?” She asked him as she started to lean in toward him.
He closed his eyes as she slowly placed her hand on his face, brushing his cheeks slightly with her fingers, and before she knew it, her eyes were now closed.
He patted her hair slightly as he wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her closer to himself as he smirked. She smiled slightly. She felt so safe in his hands; it felt like whenever she was with him, no one had anything on her.
He tucked her hair behind her ear, and before he knew it, their lips were now pressed tightly against each other’s. They were kissing, his hands moving around hers and hers digging deep into his hair.
He wanted to stop; he didn’t want this to lead to something they would regret. He was in love with her; perhaps this was the best time to tell her how he felt for her, but as their lips continued to move in perfect synchrony, he couldn’t get the words out.
She was confused and wanted to stop. She knew she had started to develop feelings for him, but with this kiss, she didn’t know if it was actually love. Everything in her was screaming and yelling until she stopped, but then her body had other desires. It didn’t want her to stop; it just wanted her to keep kissing him.
Their tongues were circling around each other, their hands moving around each other, and before she knew it, she was pushed to the bed. He climbed in and started to kiss her neck slowly, trailing his hands up her thighs as she moaned his name softly.
He wanted to stop; he didn’t want it to seem like this was done out of pure lust for her body, but then he couldn’t control himself; he just couldn’t.
This was the perfect time; he had to tell her how he felt. It felt like it was a now-or-never affair. He shut his lips right away and then opened his eyes.
When she realized that he was no longer kissing her, she slowly opened her eyes to look into his eyes, but then she couldn’t bring herself to ask him why he suddenly stopped.
“Kathryn, I want to tell you something; it’s really important.” He told her, and she swallowed.
Her heart was racing; she could see something in his eyes that was different from what she usually saw, but she didn’t seem to place her hands on what it was.
“I’m listening; what is it?” She asked him, and just as he parted his lips, about to speak, there was a call on her phone again.
She stared at the phone in his hands, and when she saw who it was, she grabbed the phone, pushing him away as she rushed to her cupboard.
“Won’t you listen to what I have to say?” He asked her, and she shook her head.
“I’m so sorry, I have to go.” She told him, and with that, she rushed out of the room.
He stared at her, heartbroken. Could it be that she was seeing someone else?
At that thought, his heart broke into a million pieces.
