We walked hand in hand as we approached Renzo’s parents house. I think he could tell that I was very nervous. I mean would they be happy for us having a baby at a major important stage in Renzo’s career.
Are we too young, is this a mistake.
So many thoughts were rushing through my brain it was hard to concentrate but I guess I was lucky to have Renzo by my side reassuring me constantly.
Renzo’s let us in and called for them.
” in the kitchen darling” we could hear Loretta call out. Taking a deep breath we entered the kitchen together his hand in mine.
As soon as she saw us she smiled with those beautiful lips and those striking eyes. ” my baby, oh I’ve missed you” she says dropping the spoon she was using to stir whatever she was currently cooking.
She made her way over to Renzo and wrapped her arms around his waist. It was beautiful to see the lovely mother and son moment but I was soon pulled into the mix by loretta rather roughly may I add.
Renzo’s eyes seem to target his mom. “Careful mom” he said to her causing her to look quite regretful for using such a force.
I took hold of his arm. ” it’s okay I’ve missed you too” I said covering it up when I saw loretta analysing us. I wanted to tell them together possibly after we had dinner.
” okay well you can go call your father I’ll just serve this up” she says turning back to the food. I was fully convinced loretta knew something was up but she hid it from us.
Renzo’s went up to call for his father whilst I stayed back up to help set the table ready for dinner. Loretta had cooked this beautiful roast dinner that filled the table. I was actually really glad I didn’t eat much at the restaurant with the girls.
We all sat at the table and started to eat. Renzo took control of the conversation mostly fully knowing that I was a nervous wreck over here. I proceeded to fill myself up with the food and occasionally came into the conversation.
” who knew your son could pull it off” I said my hand resting gently on his lap.
Loretta loved it when I told her about the moment I met my grandmother. I even saw her eyes watering up.
” must have got that from me” nathaniel said winking at me. Loretta only glared at him.
” need I remind you of your 26th birthday honey” loretta bit back which made nathaniel shut up completely. These two are literally so much fun to be around. Honestly never fail to amuse me when I’m here.
” grace was so lovely I think she even flirted with me once or twice” Renzo said speaking about my grandmother. I can’t deny that she did enjoy spending time with Reno a little too much.
” she sounds lovely I would love to meet her one day” loretta said taking her glass and taking a sip from it.
I nod to her, I’ll definitely make sure that happens soon. I want to be able to bring mine and Renzo’s families together that’s all I’ve ever wanted if I’m being honest.
Soon we had finished our food and nathaniel suggested that we go over to the lounge area and have something special to drink. I actually liked that idea but once I realised Renzo’s wanted to tell them now I instantly began to feel very nervous. Almost feeling sick.
Once they were sat down and Renzo’s poured all a drink, obviously I wasn’t going to drink it but he poured one anyway. He soon sat next to me on the sofa opposite his parents his arm instantly going around me.
When I felt the heat coming from his body and smell of his scent I instantly became calmer and more confident with what we were about to do.
“Let’s make a toast” Renzo’s said lifting his glass up. Nathaniel agreed oblivious to what was about to happen but I could tell that loretta was expecting something as she stared at us with a calculating look.
” to family, it was my honour to be able bring Tina’s family together again after so many years. Seeing her happy is everything I dream of. I can’t wait to share many more family moments like that with her especially with a baby on the way” Renzo added extra effect when he placed his hand on my stomach.
I was too busy staring deeply into his eyes loving the words that came out of his mouth that I didn’t realise loretta literally jumping for joy.
” you’re having a baby” Nathaniel said shocked his eyes widened. We nodded at him quickly kind of scared of his response. He suddenly stood up walked over to us. ” I’m going to be a grandfather ” he said suddenly realising the depth of the situation.
Loretta rushed over to me needing down. She took my hand and one of Nate’s and gave us the most breathtaking smile.
” I’m so happy for you both, congratulations sweetheart” she said her eyes filled with tears. It melted my heart when I saw a tear slip from her eyes.
” thank you, I know it may not be good timing but we want to have this baby ” I said my emotions a mess, I had tears constantly streaming down my face.
From that sentence I think I shocked everyone in the room even Renzo.
” what ?” He turned me to face him his hand holding my face.
” I mean you’re competing for the race of your life and it can’t be great timing with a baby in the way” I could see Lorenzo’s jaw tense as he processed the words,
I didn’t mean to upset him but I was exactly what I was feeling at that very moment and I had to be honest with him.
” Tina, why didn’t you tell me you felt like this. It will only motivate me to perform better to make you and our baby proud don’t you realise that” I stared up at him as he explained this to me. I was aware that we were doing this in front of his parents but me and Renzo have improved on working through our problems, our miscommunications at the first sign.
” but it also could jeaprodise it don’t you realise that. What if something bad happens on the way, I’m not being conceited but if I got sick you wouldn’t be able to handle that” I mean cmon look what happened this morning there is going to be a lot more problems that are created because of the pregnancy.
He shook his head hating everything that I was saying. Loretta decided to jump in as she turned out attention to her.
” pregnancy is a beautiful part of your life sweetheart. You won’t have it easy but that’s the part of it it needs to be challenging for the both of you. You are very fortunate to have Renzo because he is very loving and consderate of you. He will be inking about you every step of the way but that’s what makes it so special” her kind words were strong enough to clear my mind of my worries.
Renzo kneeled down to me on the sofa.
” I love you Tina, and I will love this baby whether there are complications or not I will but 100% into being a great boyfriend and a racer on the track. You mean more to me than my whole career right now and I will happily make sure I bring home the championship to you and our baby. Let’s do this together as a team” I swear I do not deserve this man.
I reached up and took hold of his hand bringing to my lips. ” I love you too” I said placing light kisses on his fingers. Something that he would normally do to me.
Loretta clapped behind me ” brilliant, well you won’t be drinking that then” she says swiping the glass away from the table. Nathaniel could only smile down at me.
” you two will be amazing parents I am certain of it” he said before leaving the room quietly.
I turned back to Renzo and sighed deeply. ” I’m sorry ” I admitted to him.
He only leant in closer and brought his lips up to meet mine. I melted into his hold and wrapped my hands around his neck. I let him take control and kiss me with such tenderness that I fell in love with him all over again.
He continued to kiss me using his lips to coax mine with the occasionally slip in of his tongue. Kissing him never Becomes tiring I miss this.
Renzo suddenly sat back in the sofa and let me lay across his lap with my head placed on his chest as he occasionally kissed my cheek.
” I’ll forgive you when you’re on my bed naked tonight. Don’t think for a second you’re off the hook yet baby” he whispered harshly in my ear. The warning was extremely erotic when i was this close to him and it instantly turned me on.
I wanted to be there now and he knew it.
He has me, all of me and he fucking knows it.
