Nina’s POV
The moment I got to know that the mysterious CEO of Smith Corporation is none other than Jane. I was beyond pissed.
I thought that she died three years back, but how come she is alive and became the CEO of a company, I am sure she must have found some sugar daddy.
I will definitely find her sugar daddy and expose her to the media. I can’t let her spoil my plan; I am sure I can make Marco marry me someday, and that is possible only if he doesn’t have any girl by his side.
I can use Andy as my shield to fulfill my dreams, but from the time Jane reappeared, all dreams started falling apart.
Marco’s full attention is on her and how to get her back. He is not even bothered about his company, where she became the fifty present shareholders.
I tried to provoke Jane, thinking that she would back off if I pretend that Marco’s and my relationship are very strong, but it seems she is not the same Jane as three years back.
I have to do something to stop the things going out of my hands. It took me so long and lots of hard work to be at Marco’s side, and now being so close to my dream, I will not let anyone spoil it.
It was pinching me when he bought that pendant for one billion. It should be the only mine, and only I can be its right claimant.
I know he bought it for that bitch, Jane, but I will not let that happen.
I had arranged that reporter who asked the question about Marco and my son; I thought once this news was triggered, all the reporters would try to dig the news, but because of Marco’s angry gaze, no one dared to proceed with their questions.
I had thought that, once Jane comes to know about my son with Marco, she will break down and leave Marco forever, but again my plan also failed.
I don’t want to be a cruel person or a murderer, but if she does not back off, I will not mind killing her and clearing my way, not only Jane but anyone who comes between Marco and me. I will not hesitate to kill them.
Jane’s POV
I attended the banquet with my friend Albert; I met him in London for three years. I chose today’s day to expose myself in front of the media.
Everything was fine till I met Nina, she thinks provoking me would break me, I must teach her a lesson. She needs to know with whom she is messing up.
I know everything that happened three years ago, that night, I am not a cruel person, and I thought to let go of the past, but now she cannot blame me for being cruel, because she is the one who started it all.
I am angry with Marco for what he did that night, but I also know that it was not real him; he never tried to hurt me when I was by his side.
He protected me from evil eyes, he was always very overprotective for me, and he would never ask me to sleep with another person.
I know he was drugged that night, and Nina and Lucas played with words to trigger his emotions. I will teach Marco a lesson for being blind behind a dream, for forgetting all the feelings for a dream but now it’s Nina’s turn.
Lucas would not help her now because he is already dependent on his forefather’s money, so his family tracks all his expenses.
He would not take the risk at all; he had already lost his company, so now its Nina’s turn to pay for her deeds.
After leaving the banquet, Albert went for his home, and I drove towards my house. I wanted to reach home early, as my little princess must be waiting for me.
I was in my thoughts only when my car stopped abruptly. My head banged in the front seat, I was startled, and I asked the driver, “What happened?”
But before he could reply, someone started banging my window, but soon my bodyguards who were following me dragged away the person from my car.
I got down from my car, and whom I saw I was stunned. She cried, “Jane, he knows it’s me, now he wants to kill me, his men are behind me. He wants me to sleep with some old bank manager so that he can get a loan to start his business.”
I immediately ordered my bodyguards to release her, and I hugged her tightly. It was none other than Amelia; yes, my step-sister, Amelia Gilbert.
She was the one who helped me to get the crucial information of my devil father, because of which I was able to pull him down.
Earlier I never understood Amelia, as she speaks very less, sometimes I thought she loved me and sometimes she hated me, but the fact was she always tried to protect me from my devil father.
When I came back, my first target was my father, but I failed, again and again, to pull him down, because he was very powerful.
One day, Amelia came to my office and gave me the information that helped destroy my father.
She always knew that I was alive, and I was with Marco, but she never tried to get in touch with me because she thought that I was happy with Marco.
If I go back, my father would again try to sell me to any of his business partners. So she never exposed this news to him.
I am thankful to her; even being a step-sister, she was more caring than the real sister. I hugged her tightly and led her to my car, and comforted her.
