Marco’s POV
I ordered Andrew, “Andrew, I don’t know how you will do it, but I want every detail of this man by tomorrow morning on my table, and if you fail, drop your resignation and leave.”
I cannot deny that he is handsome, and they both look good as a couple, but this person is stinging in my eyes.
Earlier I didn’t have any love rival because I kept my Angel in my house, away from everyone’s eyes. I knew the moment she stepped out and exposed to the world, I will have many love rivals, and now it started.
The hall was in uproar after my Angel’s arrival; she was wearing red lipstick, and it was driving me crazy, she looked so edible. Only God in heaven knows how much effort it took me to control myself and my little buddy.
Party started, and people talked and laughed, my Angel didn’t even look at me for once. I began to have a feeling that I might not be looking good enough to catch her eyes.
But on the other hand, other girls were drooling over me, but my Angel behaved like I am a stranger for her, and my existence doesn’t affect her.
My love rival, as I don’t know his name, I named him as a love rival, he was not removing his hand from my Angel’s waist.
I felt itching in my hands to beat him up till he turned black. Soon after the auction started, I saw my Angel excusing herself and walking towards the washroom area.
I wanted to follow her immediately, but one of my business partners came in front of me and started talking about our new collaboration. I wanted to finish this conversation as early as possible but he continued.
Jane’s POV
The auction was about to start, so I wanted to use the washroom before it. After finishing my business, when I washed my hands in a common area, I saw in the mirror, Nina standing behind me, smirking. I avoided her and went on with my business.
She broke the silence, “Jane, you think just because you have power this time, you can take Marco away from me.”
I turned to face her and said, “Miss Nina, I think you have mistaken something for me.”
She said immediately, “I am not mistaken at all, Jane I know a woman like you, you want to attract Marco’s attention by your power, but let me tell you he is not interested in you at all.”
I smiled and replied politely, “Miss Nina, I am not interested in your boss, now can you please leave my way.”
She didn’t budge from her place and said, “That’s good for you Jane because Marco and I have a child together and soon we will be holding a grand wedding.”
So I wanted to play dirty so let’s begin, I sneered and said, “Oh! That’s great news, but your child is almost three years old as much as I have heard. I wonder what is stopping you and Mr. Walter from holding the wedding.”
She replied immediately in defense, “It’s just because Marco is busy working hard to grow his business so that he can give me a grand wedding and bright future to our kid.”
I leaned closer to her, and said, “But, why I feel that the story people say is different, people say that he got a free prostitute to fuck, and he kept her at his side for his convenience to fuck anytime.”
I saw her face turning pale, I know she doesn’t know anything about what I said; actually, it is not true at all, but as I said earlier, she wanted to play dirty, so how can I leave her. She should know where she is messing.
After listening to my words, she got angry and tried to slap me, but I was faster than her and held her hand and twisted it behind her back and said, “Miss Nina, now you cannot blame me, just wait and watch, and the countdown starts from tomorrow morning.”
Before I let her go, I said, “You will soon realize you messed with the wrong person.” After finishing my words, I left the washroom.
Marco’s POV
Before I could finish the discussion with my business partner, I saw my Angel walking out of the washroom area. I was so pissed at the person who kept on talking because I lost my chance of talking to my Angel.
Soon the auction started, and one by one, many items got sold, and at last, it was a pure white Jade pendant. The host announced its specialty, “A king gave this jade pendant to his queen whom he loved more than his life, it is said that he had inscribed a mantra in the Sanskrit language on this pendant.”
“Because of which true lovers never separate.”
“It is said that if you give this pendant to the person you love, they will always stay by your side” when I heard this, my gaze automatically turned towards my Angel, and I saw that she was pointing towards Jade and saying something to my love rival.
And the auction started with ten million for Jade pendant, and the first person to bid was my love rival; he did the bidding of twenty million. I understand that my Angel wants this Jade pendant, even though I have thought of buying it and gifting it to my Angel; after all, I want her by my side for all my life.
Without her my life is living hell; I am just breathing; my body is without a soul.
I also started the bid with forty million, and it went on, I was reluctant to give up, and at last, I made the bid of one billion and became the owner of Jade pendant.
And with this final bidding auction coming to an end, I saw my Angel leaving the party with my love rival. I didn’t have the opportunity even to speak to my little Angel.
I was still happy that at least I could see her; this is the punishment for me, I didn’t cherish her when she was by my side, and now I am yearning to get a glimpse of her.
