He was almost urinating on his body.
Immediately, he fell onto the floor.
“Forgive me, CEO.” He cried.
Joel puckered his full pink lips and fluttered his eyelashes as he stared blankly at the man before him.
Emily felt pity for the director as she watched him go on his knees. There was nothing wrong with what he did; he was only doing his job, after all. She frowned.
“Forgive me, Sir, I had no idea… forgive me, CEO.”
She watched the man plead.
Mr. Clinton had no reliance on anything else, his only source of income was his job.
If he lost his job, he lost his family.
“Since Milly doesn’t want you fired, I’ll leave you be.” “But if anything happens to her in your industry, your head is off your neck.” The CEO threatened.
“You must take good care of her.”
“Get out!” He dismissed.
“Thank you, Miss Emily, thank you so much.” Mr. Clinton cried happily as he rushed out of the CEO’s office.
He received a call from Empire World Corporation, asking for him to be present. Thinking he was going to transfer from the industry to the corporation, joyfully, he got in his car and drove straight to the Corporation.
He had no idea he was going to be facing what he just faced.
The CEO was a ruthless person who wouldn’t blink twice before rendering him jobless. But thank God for the girl. He wondered about the amount of power she had on the CEO…
Stephanie! She almost ruined his poor life… Mr. Clinton frowned as he walked out of EWC. He would make sure to deal with the bi*ch.

“Come,” Joel wagged his index finger at Emily.
Emily smiled childishly and scampered towards him. How he knew that she didn’t want him to fire the director, she didn’t know. But she was thankful he didn’t fire him.
He smiled and carried her on his left lap, chuckling as he watched her grin shyly.
“Hum, Joel,” She called silently.
“What? The documentary, right?” He paused. “You still want to do it…” He arched up his brows.
“Nde.”She nodded her head. “Don’t you want to do it?” She pouted.
Joel patted her on her head. “No, it’s fine.”
Emily sucked on her lower lip as she smiled cutely. Like really, she was sitting on the lap of the CEO of Empire World Corporation. Wasn’t that wonderful?
Joel abandoned his work and cradled her till she fell asleep.
He then carried her gently into the lounge and placed her on a couch. He stroked her cheek and planted a kiss on it before going back to his office.
He booted his computer, took the telephone receiver, and cradled it at his neck as he arranged some files on his desk. “Come to my office.”
He replaced the receiver and swiveled his chair, waiting for whoever he telephoned to walk into his office.
Noah bobbed his head as he entered his boss’s office, “Boss.”
“Why didn’t you tell me she has a stepsister?” He scowled.
“…” Noah dried up.
“Boss I wanted to tell you~ I thought I did.” Noah bit his lip and bowed apologetically.
“Her stepsister also works in EWEI, she has bad intentions towards Miss Emily; as well as her mother, who is Miss Emily’s stepmother. And boss…” His voice trailed off.
“Also?” Joel retorted calmly.
“Miss Emily’s mum is related to the Choi Family.” He stated.
“Mbo” Joel’s eyelashes wavered slightly.
“Yes Boss, she is Old Master Choi’s daughter. This means that Miss Emily is Vincent’s cousin.” Noah explained.
Joel sighed and rubbed his hand over his face. He nodded his head.
“You don’t have anything else you want to say to me?” His eyes twinkled.
“No, Boss.” Noah bobbed.
He twitched his lips. “Okay.”
Noah bowed and turned around.
Joel scoffed as he watched his personal assistant’s retreating form. When was he going to tell him about…
“Err, Boss.” Noah turned back.
“What?” Joel mused.
“Empire World is celebrating her fortieth anniversary next week.” Noah grinned.
“And how is that my business?” Joel frowned.
The idiot didn’t say what he wanted him to say.
“I’m sorry Boss.” He bowed and walked out of the office.
Joel chuckled and switched on his computer.
? E C S T A S Y ?
“I’m back!” Michael grinned as he walked into the lounge.
But why was everywhere silent? He scowled.
“I’m back!!” He yelled again.
NO RESPONSE
“Yaisshhhhh! Where is everyone?” He groaned as he headed to his room.
He was back from a trip and no one was home to welcome him. Aish! What a wicked world. What if he had died in a plane crash? Tsk tsk tsk. Uncaring family.
He undressed and sat on his bed, thinking about how the four people he was living with betrayed him by not being at home to welcome him back from his trip.
A message came in on his phone. He unlocked his phone and clicked on the message.
THE MESSAGE READ: BRING EMILY AND GET YOUR WIFE BACK.
Michael opened his mouth partly as he read the message over and over again. Was he dreaming?

“Joel,”
Emily’s soft voice made Joel look up from his computer.
He had been working for almost three hours.
He smiled, watching her stifle a yawn.
“How was your nap?” He asked sweetly.
“Yah, why didn’t you wake me?” She nudged him.
“I didn’t want to disturb you.” Joel hunched over his desk and stole a kiss from her.
“Yahhh!” She sneered puffily.
He stood up on his feet and fixed a nose mask on her face. “Kaja, Hyung is coming back today; he’s probably home already.”
He carried her bag, took her hand in his, and they both walked out of the office.
Just like he had his mouth opened ajar when the CEO walked into the corporation with the masked girl that morning, Joel’s secretary now had his mouth opened ajar, again, as he watched the CEO step out of his office with the lady.
He found it unbelievable- the CEO and a lady? He was even carrying her bag for her; Holy Mary, Mother of Jesus!
Every other person around in the corporation also watched in horror mixed with astonishment as the CEO led a lady out of the corporation. It never happened before; the CEO brought a lady to work and also left with her… They never thought it would happen since they all thought their CEO was probably gay.
They were all eager to know the lady’s identity but they found it a pity that she had a mask on. She had a mask on, that morning too.

Joel grinned as he and Emily walked into the lounge. “Hyungnim!”
Little Pumpkin rushed out of his room, “Uncle JJ.”
He hugged his uncle and then hugged Emily.
Emily carried him in her arms. “Awwn”
“Woahhh, Little Pumpkin you are growing fatter, see how weighty you are.” Her eyes almost popped out of their sockets as soon as she carried him in her arms.
The little guy blushed and wriggled out of her arms. He didn’t want to cause her any pain.
Joel chuckled as he watched the duo.
“Where is my brother?” He asked the maid nearest to him.
“He is in his room, Sir.” She replied.
He nodded his head and walked away to his brother’s room.
He rapped on the door lightly before creaking it open. “Hyung,”
Michael hastily hid the phone under the pillow when he heard his brother’s voice.
Joel furrowed his brows and frowned. He didn’t know what his brother hid under his pillow but he knew he hid something. He masked his face with a smile as he walked fully into the room. He handed the flower he and Emily bought for his brother over to him.
He grinned, “welcome back.” “Emily got that for you.” He added.
Michael managed to let out a small smile and nodded his head. “Uhn.”
“I’ll wash up and come back downstairs for dinner. You should do the same.”
He turned around and walked out of the room.

After washing up, as he told Michael, Joel went back downstairs for dinner.
“Where is Danielle?” He asked as he took his seat opposite Emily, and beside Little Pumpkin.
“She is not yet back.” A maid replied.
He arched his brows and waved his thought off. After all, she could go wherever she wanted.
The four of them at the dining table dug in.
… … … …. …. … ….. …. …
“Hyung,” Joel called silently as he watched his brother pick on his food.
“Hyungnim.” He called again.
“Uhn.” Michael looked up.
“What is the matter? Are you alright?” He asked.
“Yeah, it’s because I just got back; I feel jetlagged. I need to rest.” Michael pushed his chair to the back and walked out of the dining room.
“Goodnight, Oppa. Have a good rest.” Emily grinned as she watched his retreating form.
“Arasso.” He waved his hand in the air.
