Braelynn also looked surprised. “Why is this pervert here?”
“What did you say?” Leonard was so angry to be called a pervert in front of Abbie that he immediately rushed toward Braelynn. His assistant immediately held him back and said, “Please calm down, Mr. Floyd!”
“How can I calm down? Look at how she is behaving! This woman is crazy!”
“You are such a shameless pervert! You have no virtues, no character, no morals!” Braelynn looked at Leonard in contempt and insulted him again. “I only let you have a taste of light beating just now. If you want some more, go ahead and come at me!”
“Braelynn!” Richard reached out to stop Braelynn and pretended to say, “What’s going on?”
Braelynn acted unreasonably. “Why did you stop me? Do you know what this b*stard did? He hit a woman! I hate men who beat women the most, so I taught him a lesson. Yet this b*stard couldn’t defeat me, so he called his bodyguards to help him. Fortunately, William’s bodyguards came with me today, or he would have killed me.”
“Who told you I was hitting a woman? It was that woman who spoke rudely. She was the one who initiated the dispute. Moreover, you didn’t even listen to my explanation before attacking me. If I didn’t call for my bodyguards, you would have beaten me to death!” Leonard retorted.
“So you’re admitting that you can’t defeat me? Isn’t it shameful that a man can’t defeat a woman?” Braelynn didn’t intend to admit her mistake at all.
Richard laughed in his heart, but he looked apologetic. “Mr. Floyd, this is all a misunderstanding. Braelynn didn’t know it was you, so she had a misunderstanding with you. I apologize to you on her behalf.”
“Why are you apologizing? I didn’t do anything wrong. I will beat up a man who attacks women every time I see them!” Braelynn was extremely arrogant.
Leonard’s face turned livid. He didn’t know who Braelynn was when he fought with her earlier. He was furious and wanted to tear Braelynn into pieces.
Now that Leonard knew Braelynn’s identity, he could only swallow his grievances.
It was no wonder that his bodyguards were all defeated since their opponents were William’s mercenary bodyguards. It would be a miracle if they could win.
Needless to say, it was William’s idea that Braelynn brought bodyguards to attack him. William must have guessed that it was him who attacked Thomas. So William arranged for Braelynn to attack him because of the lack of evidence.
Leonard had no choice but to suffer this loss and let this incident pass.
“I won’t hold you accountable then for the sake of Mr. Clark.”
Braelynn chuckled. “It doesn’t matter if you hold me accountable. If you have any tricks up your sleeve, I’ll just have to counter it to the end!”
Braelynn didn’t give in at all. Leonard was infuriated, so he could only pretend that he didn’t hear anything.
Richard also pretended not to hear Braelynn’s provocative words. “Mr. Floyd, shall I send you to the hospital?”
Abbie was also worried. “Leonard, let’s go to the hospital!”
Leonard refused. “I’m fine. Mr. Clark, I wanted to talk to you about Abbie tonight, but I didn’t expect such an incident to happen. I’m very sorry.”
“I’m very grateful to you for saving my sister. Ever since Abbie disappeared, my parents have dwelled in their misery. It would be great news to them as Abbie is still alive, so I have to bring her home to our parents. But Abbie is unwilling to follow me home. She is my darling sister, so I don’t want to force her. Mr. Floyd, what do you think I should do about this?”
Leonard was very satisfied with Abbie’s reaction. “Mr. Clark, Abbie has lost her memory and doesn’t remember her family. She may be a little afraid of the unknown. How about this? I’ll accompany her to visit your parents!”
Richard immediately understood after hearing Leonard’s words.
Leonard had definitely brainwashed Abbie and made her dependent on Leonard while having hostility towards Richard.
Now that Leonard wanted to visit the Clark family together, did he intend to form good relationships with the Clark family?
How dare he come up with such a plan? Richard had a smile on his face, but he sneered in his heart. “This would be best. Mr. Floyd, please!”
Richard then brought Abbie, Leonard, and the others to the Clark family mansion. Helen and Donald were watching TV in the living room. A servant rushed in and reported frantically, “Miss is back!”
Donald and Helen looked at the servant in confusion. The servant was also frightened by Abbie’s sudden appearance. “Mr. Clark came back with Miss and some other people!”
Helen stood up immediately. Abbie had already walked into the living room as Richard held her hand.
Helen’s eyes widened when she saw that Abbie was still alive. Donald was also stunned. “Abbie! It’s really Abbie!”
The excitement in Abbie’s heart when she saw her parents could be imagined. However, as Leonard was beside her, she could not show her true feelings. She could only look at Donald and Helen indifferently.
Helen rushed over and hugged Abbie while crying with joy. “Abbie! Abbie, you’re still alive! This is great!”
Donald also came over and hugged Abbie. His eyes were also red. “It’s good that you’re back! Thank god!”
There was a gleam in Leonard’s eyes as he watched Donald and Helen hugging Abbie. Richard invited Leonard to sit, and the servant served him tea.
Helen was still crying with Abbie in her arms while Donald had recovered from his emotions. Richard then introduced Leonard to Donald. Hearing that Leonard was the one who saved Abbie, Donald naturally thanked him over again.
The attitude of the Clark family was within Leonard’s expectations. As he had achieved the first step towards his goal, he left after staying with the Clark family for about an hour.
Naturally, Abbie was left with the Clark family. Richard, Donald, and Helen personally sent Leonard out.
After getting in the car and leaving, the assistant asked Leonard while driving, “Mr. Floyd, will anything go wrong?”
“No!” Leonard replied. “Her child is in our hands. During the time with us, I deliberately showed her how ruthless we could be. She would never act rashly for the child, let alone now that she has lost her memory. To her, I am a much friendlier face than Richard.”
“That’s true. When you were at the police station, Richard wanted to take her away. She didn’t want to and insisted on seeing you.”
The assistant also felt that Abbie was very dependent on Leonard. “Mr. Floyd, what are we going to do next?”
“Next, of course, I have to get along well with Richard. In addition, I have to let Richard know that I like Abbie and want to marry her.”
“Will the Clark family agree to it?”

After sending Leonard off, Richard called William. “Abbie’s still alive. Leonard saved her! And he sent her back just now.”
