The helper was just about to change Cade and Howard’s diapers. When she saw Bobby walking out with the twins in his arms, she immediately stopped him. “Wait a minute, I need to change their diapers. You can play with them after that.”
Bobby had to stop and place the babies on the bed to get their diapers changed.
The helper saw Bobby’s red face when she was changing the diapers and asked in confusion, “What’s wrong with you? Why is your face so red?”
“No… nothing…” Bobby stammered.
“You can’t even speak properly. You must have done something bad, right?” the helper teased.
“What can I possibly do? I’m an honest person.” Bobby argued.
“Rumpelstiltskin always said that he was a good person, but he was always up to no good.”
Valeria and William had just finished making out inside. When she heard how the helper was teasing Bobby, she couldn’t help bursting into laughter.
William also laughed and Bobby blushed even harder. He touched his head and continued to stay silent as he carried Cade and Sathos out of the room.
It was already dinner time for the Davis family, but no one came to invite Azalea for dinner.
Azalea only ate a little leftovers at noon and she was starving.
She couldn’t bear it anymore after another half an hour had passed. Then, she gently opened the door and looked out.
It was very quiet outside and she couldn’t hear or see anything. Azalea carefully walked out of the room and prepared to go to the kitchen to find something to eat.
The Davis family must have eaten dinner and there was still the scent of food in the kitchen.
Azalea swallowed her saliva and ran quickly to the kitchen, which was empty and clean.
Azalea opened the fridge and found that there was nothing left in it, except for yoghurt and milk.
She had no choice but to drink the box of yoghurt, but she heard footsteps approaching halfway through.
The maid who had just thrown the garbage back came back, and she sneered when she saw Azalea drinking yoghurt in the kitchen. “Did you really steal our food? You’re really shameless.”
“What? I’m drinking it openly in front of you, so why do you have to say that?”
“I don’t want to scold you, but I’m employed by the Davis family. Madam said that she would not let a bitch like you eat the things in this house. We’re already very kind to let you live here, so how can you have the guts to eat our food? If you want to eat, you can buy some food yourself.”
“I’m pregnant with your boss’ child and he’s the head of the Davis family. I can only give my baby nutrition by eating, and my baby will starve if you don’t let me eat anything. Isn’t that too unreasonable?” Azalea argued.
“You were the one who wanted to give birth to the child, so what does it have to do with Mr. Michael? Would he let you live so miserably if he wanted to acknowledge your child?”
The servant said disdainfully and went forward to grab the yogurt in Azalea’s hand.
Azalea’s hands were scalded by boiling water before this and it was still covered in blisters, so how could she fight against the maid?
When the maid snatched it from her forcefully, the blisters on her hand were popped open and she was in extreme pain. She had no choice but to let go of the yoghurt.
The maid threw the half bottle of yoghurt into the trash can. Azalea was angry and resentful, so she could not help but curse, “You have the fucking guts to harm me and my child. As long as I manage to give birth to my child safely, I will definitely torture you until the day you day and make you wish you were dead!”
“How arrogant can you be? Why don’t you do that now if you have the guts? Who gave you the guts to give birth to the baby in your belly?” the servant asked sarcastically.
“You… Just you wait. I’ll call Michael and get him to fire you!”
Azalea couldn’t beat or scold the servant, but she couldn’t accept getting bullied like this.
The only thing she could think of was to ask Michael for help. When the servant saw this, she laughed and said, “Are you trying to call Mr. Michael? Are you sure you can get through? Let me tell you, Madam called him and asked him to come home for dinner. Do you know what he said? He said that he’s busy because he’s eating a candlelight dinner in the Revolving Restaurant with a beautiful lady.”
“What did you say?” Azalea’s face turned pale. She remembered Michael’s indifference when she was bullied by Madelyn on the phone. Although he ignored her that day, he wouldn’t ignore her now, right?
The servant noticed that Azalea had immediately lowered her phone and continued to sneer. “Are you asking why a lowly servant has the guts to do this to you? I’m not afraid to tell you that it’s all Madam’s idea. She said that she would never allow your child to be born, so you’d better think about it carefully yourself. Do you want to suffer every day, or do you want to find a way to end the suffering yourself? Anyway, the result will be the same sooner or later. Azalea glared at the servant with trembling lips, but she couldn’t say anything.
At this moment, a playful voice suddenly came from outside. “How imposing! I couldn’t hear anything because I came late. Can you repeat everything you just said to me?”
Azalea seemed to have seen her saviour when she heard Michael’s voice, and she immediately burst into tears. “Michael… Michael, save me! She didn’t give me any food and wanted to kill my baby.”
Michael did not look at Azalea, but he glared at the servant coldly. “When did the Davis family let a lowly servant like you make decisions?”
“Sir… No… it’s not me… I lost my composure!” The servant wanted to shirk the responsibility to Meadow, but she decided against it when she thought of the consequences.
She hurriedly apologized and said, “It’s all my fault! I shouldn’t have said that. Sir, please spare me and I won’t do it again!”
The maid raised her hand and slapped herself a few times, but Michael remained unmoved and sneered. “Pack up your things and get out!”
The servant was dumbfounded. The salary given by the Davis family was very high and the work was easy. Where could she find such a good job if she was fired?
She begged bitterly, “Sir, please give me a chance! I won’t do it again!”
“Didn’t I tell you to get lost? Or should I get someone to throw you out?”
Michael was a man of his word, so the servant did not dare to beg him anymore. What she needed to do now was to tell Meadow what had happened here and ask her to stop him.
Michael ignored the tears in Azalea’s eyes when the servant left, and he said with a disgusted expression, “You’re disgusting!”

Azalea choked with sobs. “It hurts so much! I wanted to call you… but Auntie said that my burns had nothing to do with anyone. I’m not stupid enough to burn myself… Michael, I…”
Azalea didn’t say anything because she found that Michael’s eyes were bone-piercingly cold and she immediately stopped crying.
“Do you know how much it hurts now? I assumed that such a despicable and vicious person like you wouldn’t be able to feel anything.” The corners of Michael’s mouth were slowly raised. “How do you have the fucking nerve to say that it’s painful? Are you more pitiful than Abbie now?”
