Emily disagreed with Azalea’s words. “Why are you behaving so foolishly? Isn’t it normal for the bodyguards to be devoted to their duties and treat you like this when they don’t know you?”
“I told them I was Mr. Floyd’s relative and asked them to call dad’s secretary to ask. But he ignored me, attacked me, and even threatened me with a gun in the end. Mom, you must tell dad about this no matter what. If you don’t, I will tell him myself. These damned bodyguards have it too easy! They need to be taught a lesson!”
“They attacked you?”
“Yes, that damn bodyguard hit me. I’m wounded because of this.”
Emily felt uncomfortable when she heard that Azalea had been hit. Although it was their duty as bodyguards, they were certainly at fault for hitting Azalea and threatening her with guns. Emily felt that she had to tell Callum about this.
Emily sent a message to Callum and told him indirectly that Azalea went to the States and was bullied by the bodyguards at the Floyd family’s old mansion.
Callum was furious after reading the message. He immediately picked up his phone and called the housekeeper of the old mansion to ask about this matter. As soon as the phone was dialed, Fandrey pushed the door open and came in.
“There’s something I want to talk to you about!”
“Dad, you came at the right time. I also have something to tell you.” Callum hung up the phone and told Fandrey angrily, “Azalea followed Michael to the States and went to the old mansion. She was beaten by the bodyguards there, and the guards even threatened her with guns. They have gone too far!”
“Haha!” Fandrey sneered after hearing Callum’s words. “She was asking for trouble! She deserved it!”
“Dad, what do you mean?”
“I came here to talk to you about this. The housekeeper has called and told me about this. I didn’t think she would be this shameless to go to our old mansion. This Azalea is too unashamed.”
Hearing Fandrey call Azalea shameless, Callum was not very happy. “Dad, aren’t you going too far calling her shameless?”
“Going too far? Wait till you know what a wretch Azalea is. Then you will know I’m not going too far! I didn’t plan to tell you about Azalea, but since things came to the way it is, I won’t hide it from you anymore.” Fandrey sighed. “Callum, Azalea is not your daughter. She is not related to you and Emily at all.”
“Dad, are you joking?” Callum jumped up from the sofa in shock.
“Don’t get agitated! Sit down and listen to me.” Fandrey motioned for Callum to sit down and told him about the exchange of the children in the hospital back then.
Callum’s face was full of disbelief. “How is this possible? Dad, do you mean that Azalea was brought back from the orphanage by Lucian?”
“Yes. Lucian was the first to exchange Emily and your child with another child. Then Madelyn exchanged her daughter with the child that Lucian brought. She thought the child she brought back was Emily’s and your child, but in truth, the child is not. At last, Ornard’s henchman, Gurmisran, took Ornard’s child and exchanged it with Madelyn’s daughter. After Gurmisran took away Madelyn’s daughter, he left the child in the wild. Madelyn wanted for her daughter to have a nice life, so she couldn’t enjoy the benefits as well. But little did she know her daughter was long dead.”
Callum had long known that Madelyn’s child was dead, but he didn’t expect that his daughter wasn’t Azalea. Seeing how calm Fandrey was, it was obvious to Callum that his child was still alive.
Callum had mixed feelings in his heart. He continued to ask, “What about my child? She should be still alive after being taken away by Lucian, right?”
Fandrey nodded and said, “Yes, she is still alive! She is well alive, and she is different from Azalea and Angel, who are vicious and shameless. She is kind, smart, and excellent!”
“Who is she? Where is she?” Callum asked excitedly.
“She’s Braelynn!”
“Braelynn! My daughter is Braelynn!” Callum was shocked and overjoyed. He couldn’t believe that Braelynn, who was so excellent and capable, could be his daughter.
“Dad, have you confirmed this?”
“Yes, William has already confirmed it! I always thought that Braelynn and Emily looked alike, but I didn’t think much about it because Braelynn also looked alike with Valeria. If it weren’t for William, we wouldn’t have known the truth in our lifetime!”
“Dad, why did you only tell me now? You should have told me earlier!”
“William told me not to tell you. If Azalea hadn’t been so impatient, I would have hidden it from you for a while.”

Callum was extremely regretful. Fandrey patted his hand and said, “Braelynn won’t blame you. She is a nice child and is smart and reasonable. She will not hold a grudge on these things.”
“But I feel guilty. If you had told me earlier, I wouldn’t have taken Azalea seriously. As a father, I have failed!”
“Well, don’t blame yourself. I only want you to know that Azalea is not a nice person. Don’t waste time on her affairs. Also, you should tell Emily about this.”
“Emily won’t be able to accept it even if she knows the truth. After all, she has treated Azalea as her own daughter for more than twenty years. She has put in a lot of effort.”
“It will be temporary even if she cannot accept this. She will be glad to have a daughter like Braelynn, who is a hundred times more outstanding than the likes of Azalea. The heavens have been good to our Floyd family.”
Callum nodded. It was indeed a blessing to have an outstanding daughter like Braelynn. “Dad, does Braelynn know who she is?”
“She does. William has told her, and I have met her a few times. Braelynn was pretty distant from me before, but over time she has changed.
