Chapter 1332 Looked As If She Was A Lunatic

Book:That Stranger Lying Beside Me Published:2024-6-1

Helen was not a fool. How could Abbie’s words deceive her?
Azalea had certainly been chased out viciously by Abbie.
If it had been in the past, Helen would have exposed Abbie. But now, she already knew what Azalea was like. Azalea was ungrateful and did not deserve her attention. So Helen consented to Abbie’s behavior.
The servant took Azalea’s luggage and brought it out. Then the bodyguards outside took the luggage and threw it to Azalea.
Azalea stood outside sheepishly. She was still hopeful when her luggage was still inside the house. She hoped Helen would reprimand Abbie when she found out what had happened. But when the bodyguards threw out her luggage, Azalea finally gave up hope.
Azalea picked up her suitcase dejectedly, and the anger in her heart erupted like a volcano.
She hated Helen for not speaking up for her and Abbie for being so arrogant.
As they had mistreated her this way today, Azalea swore to take revenge on them!
The bodyguard looked at Azalea coldly and said sarcastically, “Ms. Clark, your luggage has been brought out to you. Please leave immediately!”
“Where can I go at such a late hour? I didn’t book a hotel.”
“You don’t have a place to live? Miss asked me to tell you that the Floyd family’s old mansion is thirty miles away. Get a cab and go to the mansion. I’ve heard that the Floyd family’s old mansion is decorated extravagantly and is well-known among the rich. It’s much better than the Clark family’s mansion. I trust if Ms. Clark were to go over, the servants would treat you as their most esteemed guest!”
Azalea was very depressed at first. But when she heard this, she became happy. How could she forget about the Floyd family? She was the eldest daughter of the Floyd family, and it was perfectly justifiable for her to live in the family’s old mansion.
Azalea did not know that the bodyguard’s message was from Richard and it had nothing to do with Abbie.
Her mood brightened, and she called for a cab immediately and went to the Floyd family’s old mansion. On the way to the mansion, Azalea texted Callum excitedly. “Dad, I’m now in New York, and I just got off the plane. I don’t have a place to stay. Could you arrange a place for me to stay?”
Azalea thought that Callum would be very surprised when he saw her message. On top of being surprised, he would surely arrange for her, his only daughter, to stay in the Floyd family’s old mansion.
The cab stopped outside the Floyd family’s old mansion, and Azalea came down from the cab carrying her luggage. Her eyes were wide in shock as she looked at the mansion.
Wasn’t this mansion too big? It was even more magnificent than the Clark family’s mansion. It must be very luxurious inside.
Azalea was so excited and she wanted to stay there immediately and be pampered.
However, to stay inside, Callum had to make the arrangements for her. Yet Callum haven’t replied her till then. What was going on?
Azalea tried to call Callum, but she couldn’t get through. Callum’s phone was turned off.
She had no other way as Callum had turned off his phone. She didn’t have Fandrey or Deborah’s number. Even if Azalea did, she didn’t dare to disturb them since she said she was going on a vacation with Meadow when she left the house. If she were to tell them that she was abroad, what would the Floyd family think of her?
Since she can’t disturb Fandrey or Deborah, Azalea decided to go straight into the mansion and find someone to welcome her.
She then carried her suitcase and pressed the doorbell confidently. After the doorbell rang for a while, a bodyguard in black opened the door and looked at Azalea. He asked coldly, “Who are you? Why are you here?”
“My name is Azalea. I’m Mr. Floyd’s relative.”
The bodyguard looked at Azalea coldly. “Mr. Floyd’s relative? Miss, you must be joking, right? I’ve lived in the Floyd family for decades, but I’ve never heard of a relative like you. Get lost!”
“I’m really Mr. Floyd’s relative. Call him if you don’t believe me.” After saying that, Azalea remembered that she couldn’t get through Callum’s phone. She immediately added, “You can call Mr. Floyd’s assistant or secretary and ask them to tell Mr. Floyd that Azalea is now at the gate of the Floyd family’s old mansion.”
“Who do you think you are? Do you think I have nothing to do and will listen to you?” The bodyguard looked at Azalea with disdain and turned to leave.
Azalea anxiously stepped forward to stop the bodyguard. “Don’t go. I’m not done yet. I’m telling you. I’m really Mr. Floyd’s relative, a very important one at that. If you offend me, Mr. Floyd will surely fire you!”
The bodyguard looked at Azalea as if she were a lunatic. “Miss, if you’re sick, please see a doctor!”
“What’s wrong with you? Didn’t you hear that I asked you to call Mr. Floyd’s secretary? I’m telling you. If you offend me, you will lose your job! Not only will you lose your job, but you will also die miserably!”
The bodyguard regarded Azalea as a lunatic and would not listen to any more of her nonsense. He pushed her hard, and she fell to the ground with a cry. She was in so much pain that she flew into a rage. “How dare you push me? Do you fucking want to die? How dare you treat your superior like this?”
Azalea cursed and got up, ready to kick the bodyguard. The bodyguard thought that Azalea was playing dumb, and he didn’t want to waste his breath on Azalea. So he took out a gun and pointed it at Azalea. “You’re going to get shot if you trespass into private property in the States. Come at me if you want to die!”
Seeing the black muzzle, Azalea was so frightened that she stopped.
This was the States, a country that could fire at will. If she dared to act presumptuously, the bodyguard would shoot her without hesitation.
She hadn’t enjoyed an exciting life yet, so she couldn’t lose her life at this time. Azalea didn’t dare to cause any more trouble, so she left with the suitcase in disgrace.
Seeing that Azalea was leaving with her suitcase, the bodyguard closed the door and walked in. She ran into the housekeeper of the mansion, who asked, “What happened?”
“A crazy woman whose name was Azalea said that she was Mr. Floyd’s relative. What she was saying seemed pretty crazy, and she didn’t want to leave until I took out my gun!”
“Mr. Floyd’s relative? Azalea?” The housekeeper was stunned and immediately called Fandrey. “Mr. Floyd, did Azalea come to the old mansion?”
“What?” Fandrey was extremely surprised. “Are you sure about it? Why did Azalea go to the States?”
“There’s no mistake. The bodyguard said she claimed to be Mr. Floyd’s relative and wanted to enter the old mansion. The bodyguard thought she had lost her mind and didn’t believe her words. So he drove her away.”
“He did well! If she dares to come over again, teach her a lesson!” Fandrey was not in the mood to care about Azalea, nor was he in the mood to be kind to her.
Now that Azalea had gone to the States and even went to the Floyd family’s old mansion, Fandrey couldn’t leave this matter aside anymore. He must tell Callum about Azalea’s real identity.
