Gavin had a cold response to Raelyn’s crying. “Ask the doctor for help if you feel uncomfortable!”
Raelyn’s heart jolted when she heard Gavin’s words. “Dad! Do you know why I became like this? It was because someone tried to kill me!”
“Really? Who?” Gavin asked.
“I don’t know who it is. Anyway, two men suddenly rushed out and stabbed me outside your house last night. They stabbed all over my body! Boohoo… Dad, they are too cruel. You must help me!”
“Why should I help you? Where’s the evidence? Should I trust you just because you said that someone stabbed you?” Gavin retorted.

Raymond laughed at the expression on Raelyn’s face. “I came here today to see how ridiculous you can be. There is another thing I want to tell you. Your daughter Natasya is in danger!”
“What do you mean? What are you going to do to her?” Raelyn was in a panicked state and she did not dare to be unreasonable anymore. Her voice softened and she begged, “Raymond, Natasya is your cousin. You can’t do this to her!”
“Do you think that I’m going to deal with Natasya? No, someone else wants to do it instead. Why should someone like me deal with a piece of trash like her? It’ll just taint my reputation!”
“Who is going to deal with her?” Raelyn asked.
“Why can’t you figure it out? No way! You didn’t think of your retribution when you schemed against others in the past, did you?” Raymond looked at Raelyn with contempt in his eyes.
“It wasn’t you? Then who would it be? Could it be… Hardy?”
“You should just face the truth,” Raymond confirmed Raelyn’s guess.
“Hardy, he… what is he doing to Natasya? How could he…”
“Do you think that Hardy must listen to Natasya just because she placed a blood hex on him? You are completely wrong!” Raymond sneered.
“I’m not afraid to tell you the truth. When your family wanted to target my brother-in-law, you’ve already signed your death sentences. As the President of the Wolf Group, how could he allow all of you to do that to him? Everything was part of his plan, including placing two blood hexes on Hardy and killing your two daughters. Of course, Hardy was happy about the death of your two daughters. After he knew that all of you had placed hexes in his body, he could only think about how to kill you!”
Raymond took a breath. “Hardy had planned for Talitha to kill Natasya’s child, and he killed Talitha’s child himself as well. Hardy is not a kind person and he never treats his enemies with mercy. Do you understand that you were wrong from the beginning?”
“This… what will Hardy do to me?” Raelyn’s heart ws filled with pure fear.
“Hm? A tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye. You used a blood hex to control Hardy because you wanted to get some benefits. Hardy had to seek the antidote in order to free himself, and this antidote is the blood from your daughter’s heart!”
Raymond slowly said, “We left a way out for your daughter initially. We would let her go as long as she confesses to her crimes and goes to jail. However, she doesn’t want to do that and she wants to escape the law. She keeps thinking that Hardy will save her. The only thing he’ll do after he saves her is to take the blood of her heart. The plan is finally in motion. Raelyn, do you want to see it happen with your own eyes?”
“I’m begging you! Please save Natasya! I’ll kneel before you! Raymond, Natasya is your cousin. Please save her! As long do that, I can do anything for you!”
“Really? Then can you die?” Raymond asked coldly.
“If you die now, I can consider saving your daughter. Can you do that?”
Raelyn suddenly stopped talking as this was not an ordinary request. It was a matter of life and death.
She could say a lot of touching words at this moment, but that wouldn’t solve anything at the critical moment.
She had to think carefully about whether it was worth it or not. She could spend money or kill someone to save Natasya. However, it was difficult for her to decide whether she could give up her life to save Natasya.
It was so good to be alive! She would have a chance to regain her footing as long as she was alive, but everything would be gone if she died.
She would end up under a tombstone without anything to her name. She didn’t want to die, and she wanted to live!
Raelyn did not speak and Raymond already knew her choice. He smiled contemptuously and said, “Look at you. You are so pathetic! It is said that a mother can do anything for her child. You are the most disgusting, vicious, and selfish mother I have ever seen. You’re completely heartless!”
After saying this, Raymond strode away with Arthur while Raelyn’s wailing came from the ward. “Somebody! Come here! Someone’s about to commit a murder! Help me call the police!”
However, things were different now. No matter how loudly she called, no one would pay any attention to her.
In the police station, Natasya waited for more than ten hours until it was noon. Then, she secretly took out the medicine that Bevan had given her and ate it.
After taking the medicine for a few minutes, Natasya felt her stomach tightening up and the pain was unbearable. She screamed and rolled on the ground while her mouth foamed continuously.
