William then left the old estate alongside Bobby. He decided to have a glance through his text messages on his way to the hotel. It was from Silas, “Mr. Howard, I have gotten ahold of Emily’s DNA sample.”
William replied, “Alright then. Do give it to Marcus for further processing.”
He then instructed Bobby, “Find a chance to obtain Angel’s DNA specimen today.”
“Noted!” Bobby agreed immediately and did not question further as usual.
William gave a few additional tasks for him, “Do pass it to Marcus’ men for the identification process as soon as you got ahold of Angel’s DNA sample. I need to know about the result as soon as possible!”
Both Fandrey and Deborah were overjoyed when William had promised to have breakfast with them at the hotel.
William then offered to bring the Floyd family on a sightseeing tour after enjoying a hearty breakfast together.
Fandrey and Deborah agreed and were looking forward to the tour. William then proceeded to arrange his schedule for the day whereas the guests went back to their rooms and dressed up.
The bodyguard that was arranged to pay Valeria a visit at the hospital had eventually returned. He reported to Deborah, “I couldn’t get ahold of Mrs. Howard. She was confirmed to be discharged early in the morning just now.”
“What?” Deborah glanced at Fandrey with a look of surprise on her face. She continued, “That is rather quick and unexpected.”
“I’ve inquired the doctor as well as the nurse about Valeria’s injury. She just sprained her foot by a bit and it is not a life-threatening matter.”
“I see,” Deborah replied and glanced at Fandrey once again. Angel chimed in and questioned further, “Are you sure that she is genuinely alright? Could it be that you might have missed out on something important?”
“I’ve doubled confirmed it and Valeria has already recovered from her injury.”
“Why would she make a fuss over such a petty matter? She has scared us to death! Could it be that she is just pretending to gain attention from William?” Angel muttered.
Fandrey looked at Angel and said, “Alright, that’s enough. We ought to be glad as she is now feeling well. William is still waiting for us. Let’s go!”
Both Fandrey and Deborah did not comment further about Valeria. Angel had learned her lesson and did not try to badmouth Valeria this time. She felt disappointed and eventually followed her grandparents as they exited the hotel.
William was already waiting for them in the car. He had specially arranged for two outstanding tour guides to explain the attractions around the area. He had also hired a professional photographer to take pictures of them. They immediately headed straight to the tourist spots after the guests had hopped onto the car.
Angel was feeling displeased as she still did not manage to talk ill about Valeria. She then sent a message to Natasya, “I heard that Valeria is fine but my grandparents did not react negatively at all. I’m feeling increasingly annoyed and agitated!”
“Well, it looks like we have to push things further! It’d be best if something bad happens to her and William has to excuse himself once again. Don’t you think that your grandparents would eventually run out of patience upon seeing Valeria being such a baby?” Natasya reverted back.
“That’s a good idea but the chance of Valeria being met with an accident is very slim, don’t you think? How about you come up with a way to get her injured once again?”
How could Natasya have the capability to ambush Valeira judging by her current circumstances? She replied in an impatient tone, “I can’t get in touch with her either. We have to think of something much better than this!”
“We would all be dead by the time you finally think of a way!” Angel reverted back in an impatient tone and decided to not count on her anymore. Natasya would not have been made into such a mess by Valeria if she was a capable person.
Angel had no choice but to rely on herself instead. She was feeling moody and was not looking forward to the tour at all.
Natasya had sent her another message after a while, “I suddenly recalled that Valeria is a very possessive and controlling person. She would be mad if she finds out that William is very close to other women and would pick a fight with him. Miss Floyd, you should seize the opportunity and take a few intimate photos with your cousin. You can then hire someone to photoshop your face to some random woman and send it over to Valeria. We can then sit back and enjoy the show!”
Angel felt that Natasya’s idea was rather impressive and said, “Alright then. I’ll give it a try!”
Angel put away her phone and composed herself. She strode towards William, who was talking to Callum. She suggested coquettishly, “William! Let’s take a picture together, shall we?”
William smiled and rejected her proposal in a gentle tone, “Angel, please forgive me as I am not a fan of taking pictures with others. I would feel uncomfortable upon staring at the camera.”
“Who could possibly dislike taking pictures in this day and age? Are you just not wanting to have a picture with me?” Angel asked in a displeased tone.
“Absolutely not. I am genuinely very opposing to have my photos being taken. To be honest, I haven’t even taken a wedding photo with my wife yet as I’m not used to the camera. Angel, I hope you understand where I’m coming from. However, I have hired a professional photographer and you can always ask him to take photos of you. Don’t worry about it as he is absolutely skillful!”
Angel was extremely disappointed upon knowing that William did not fall into her trap. She tried to seek assistance from Callum instead, “Daddy, William is refusing to be in a picture with me!”
“Why are you acting out if William is not a fan of it? You can always take a selfie and besides, I don’t like taking photos either,” Callum was siding with William.
Angel immediately sought Deborah as her next ray of hope, “Grandma, William is bullying me!”
“You need not make such a huge fuss and should respect William’s decision.” Deborah did not take her seriously and said, “Speaking of which, I have never seen William’s pictures before!”
“You’re right! I don’t have any pictures of him too.” Fandrey nodded in agreement and continued, “His face was always not visible even when he was caught in huge waves of scandals last time. The paparazzi only managed to take pictures of his back which means that William must be a camera-shy person.”
The adults were very supportive and understanding of William. Angel was discouraged as she struggled to come up with an excuse. How could Natasya’s plan be a success if William was so persistent on his decision?
Angel was a quick-witted person and immediately came up with another idea. She grabbed ahold of one of the bodyguards and whispered, “I will approach William in a close distance later. Your job is to snap a few pictures of us being together.”
The bodyguard decided to obey Angel’s instructions as per usual. She composed herself and approached William to inquire him about the scenic spots. She pointed her fingers on a random item and asked, “William, what’s the story behind this stele?”
“Unfortunately, I have no idea about it too. However, fret not as I shall let the tour guide provide you with an extensive explanation,” William sprung back and replied with an apologetic look on his face.
“Aren’t you a resident in B City? How could you not know about it at all?” Angel realized that William was deliberately avoiding her. She did not give up and tried to get nearer to him once again. Bobby immediately stepped forward to sandwich himself between William and Angel.
“Miss Floyd, I shall gladly answer your query!” He swiftly plucked a few strands of hair from Angel’s head while speaking to her politely.
“What on earth are you doing? Why would you interrupt me when I was talking to my cousin? You have no manners at all!” Angel did not notice what had Bobby done just now. She was mad at him to ruin her plan and gave him an earful.
Bobby grinned and replied, “Miss Floyd, my apologies as I did not mean it. I just genuinely want to clear up your confusions that’s all.”
“I’m not interested in hearing you out. Get lost right now as I want to continue chatting with William!”
William’s gaze turned cold upon hearing how dominating Angel was towards Bobby.
Bobby smiled and replied, “Miss Floyd, I shall remind you once again that Mr. Howard is not used to having physical contact with others. He would feel uncomfortable if some other women get close to him. However, his wife, Mrs. Howard, is the only exception.”
