Raelyn was upset and felt humiliated after being exposed by Valeria.
She had talked things through with Natasya about their plan to obtain money from Gavin. How did Valeria know when they were absolutely secretive about it?
Raelyn recalled Valeria having the footage of her heading towards the beauty salon shop. She was confident that the professional makeup artist had given out all the details.
Raelyn bribed the makeup artist to keep her mouth sealed but eventually betrayed her. She did not want to let things slide when the makeup artist had teamed up with Valeria.
She had to talk things through with the makeup artist right now!
Raelyn rushed towards the beauty salon and barged into it before questioning the makeup artist. However, the makeup professional said that it was a misunderstanding and denied everything that Raelyn had accused her of. Raelyn was not foolish enough to believe her and turned the entire shop into a mess.
The makeup artist would not let Raelyn have her way and immediately called for the police.
Both Raelyn and the makeup artist were taken to the police station for further investigation. The police had been trying to mend this issue for a few hours and Raelyn eventually paid the money for the damage that she had done.
She was in a terrible mood as nothing had gone her way today.
Raelyn then received a call from Talitha on her way back from the police station. Talitha queried in a hurried tone, “Mummy, where have you been? I have been calling you several times. Why didn’t you answer it?”
Raelyn was feeling agitated and snapped back, “What do you want from me?”
“Mummy, do come clean to me. Did you get on Raymond’s nerve? What on earth are you thinking? Why would you do that?”
Talitha had been waiting for Raymond’s advice but there was still no news from him even until the next morning. She tried calling him but he did not answer her call.
Talitha was feeling anxious and sent countless text messages to Raymond. He only replied to her message on the evening, “Ask your mother if you ought to know the truth!”
Talitha had assumed that Raelyn had got on Raymond’s bad side judging by the tone of his message. She wanted to question Raymond further. However, her message did not go through as he had blocked her contact number.
Talitha had trusted and relied on Raymond all these while. Who could Talitha seek for assistance when he had cut her off?
She was feeling restless and swiftly called Raelyn to ask about it.
Raelyn was enraged upon hearing about Raymond. “Don’t even mention that b*stard’s name. He is just an unworthy piece of s*it! I regret in persuading Savannah to take him in if I knew how vicious he is. I should have gotten rid of him long ago!”
Talitha was confident that Raelyn had indeed caused trouble with Raymond. She raised her voice at Raelyn, “How can you do this to Raymond? Do you have any idea how much he had helped me out during these trying times? I would not have successfully gained control over Hardy if it weren’t for him!”
“Are you sure about that? He is luring you into his trap! Talitha, that b*stard was the one who made your sister in such a mess. He was the one who caused you and Natasya to fight over each other to win Hardy over.”
“What are you talking about?” Talitha was confused.
“Listen to me. That b*at is in the same team with William and Valeria! You were blaming Natasya for trying to win Hardy over, weren’t you? Raymond and the others are the ones behind this mess. They poisoned Hardy with the blood vermin that was reared by Natasya. That is why Hardy is interested in both you and your sister at the same time!”
Talitha thought that she heard it wrongly and confirmed once again, “Are you sure? Mummy, you’re just messing around with me, right?”
“Honey, I am your mother. Why would I lie to you?” Raelyn was irritated and advised, “You ought to keep a distance from Raymond and cut ties with him from now onwards!”
“S*it! It’s over!” Talitha hung up the phone and muttered to herself by locking her head with her arms. How could she stand a chance against Natasya in winning Hardy over?
Talitha had always been bullied by her sister ever since she was young. Natasya was a quick-witted person and the chance of her being Hardy’s girlfriend was high.
Wait! There was no way that Natasya could win this fight as her face was ruined! Besides, Talitha was currently pregnant with Hardy’s child. However, Talitha had to be cautious and decided to find a way around.
Raelyn and Devon were biased towards Natasya since young. Hence, it was not possible to rely on them to be on Talitha’s side.
Raymond had been doing her so many favors before becoming on bad terms. Who could Talitha count on when he had blocked her contact number?
She panicked and struggled to come up with something.
William and Bobby went out to have dinner but kept receiving calls from Valeria. However, William decided to ignore her and focused on his meal instead.
Valeria sent him a WhatsApp message since there was no answer from him. “Honey, why are you not picking up my phone calls? Can you talk to me, please?”
“You can always text me back if you are not in the mood to talk. Is that alright for you?”
“Honey, are you mad at me? However, I don’t think I have done anything wrong though. Do come back home and hear me out, okay?”
“Honey, I’m sorry. I won’t do it again!”
Valeria decided to change things up since there was still no reply from him yet.
“Honey, do come back home as soon as you could. I have good news to tell you about our children! You’ll definitely be delightful upon hearing about it!”
William scoffed after reading Valeria’s messages. Was she trying to lure him back? How foolish of her to underestimate his intelligence!
He kept his phone away and stood up. “It’s getting late. Let’s go to the airport now!”
Valeria still did not give up texting William when he was on his way to the airport. She gave it her all and offered, “Honey, how about I serve you like a king tonight? I can satisfy whatever requests that you have!”
William squinted his eyes as he was genuinely interested in her proposal. Could he make it back home tonight? Unfortunately, he could not receive the royal treatment from her as his schedule was packed for tonight.
What a cunning woman! She tried to lure him despite being aware that he had to pick up his grandparents tonight. She was evidently still not feeling guilty and even tried to play dumb!
Not a chance!
Valeria’s patience had finally run out. She was pissed as she even went to great lengths just to cheer him up.
She paced in the house back and forth before sending the latest message to him. “William! You are forbidden to set foot into this house if you don’t come back home tonight! I shall make it very clear to you that I am feeling upset now! I’m pissed off! You would be in big trouble if you don’t do something about it!”
It was nine in the evening when William arrived at the airport.
Bobby followed him into the airport via the VIP gateway towards the arrival gate.
William switched on his phone upon hearing his notification ringtone. He took a glance at it and received Valeria’s message as expected.
He gave the message a read and realized that Valeria was threatening him. He narrowed his eyes and wanted to revert back to her. A joyful voice came from the front all of the sudden, “William!”
Angel abandoned her luggage and ran towards William the moment she caught sight of him.
