Deborah sighed and said, “It’s easy for you to say that. We are far away and would not be able to obstruct Hayden. Besides, William might not even listen to us as he is much closer to Hayden compared to us.”
“This is why we have to come up with something. We can always head back as our last resort.”
“Are you really planning to do so?” Deborah glanced at Fandrey with a surprised look on her face.
“Let’s see how it goes and we would only head back if things get out of control!”
Angel took a nap in her room and immediately got up at dawn.
She knew about Fandrey’s habit of exercising in the morning and was prepared to tell him everything about William.
She went downstairs and waited for a while in the living room. She was feeling puzzled as Fandrey was not ready yet. Why would he be late when he had always been punctual and regular with his routine?
Angel was feeling impatient and made her way to Fandrey and Deborah’s bedroom. She waited by the door and had a habit of eavesdropping on the adults.
She did not knock on the door but instead positioned her ear by the door to overhear any possible conversation. She had vaguely heard the displeased discussion between Fandrey and Floyd. She then swiftly knocked on the door and asked, “Grandpa! Grandma! Can I come in?”
“Yes, do come in!” Deborah replied.
Angel immediately pushed the door open and struck first, “Grandpa, grandma, I have just received a piece of shocking news. William has regained his memories and is even a married man.”
“Who did you hear that from?” Deborah looked at Fandrey for a while and asked.
“Natasya has told me about it.” Angel decided to tell them truthfully, “Natasya called me and updated me about him.”
“Even an unrelated person has known about his recovery. How dare he hide it from us?” Deborah was feeling upset.
“I know, right? Natasya had also told me another thing but I am not sure how true it is. I need to share it with you guys as I do think that it is too horrible,” Angel exaggerated.
“What is it?”
“Didn’t her reputation has shattered into pieces? She had come clean to me and admitted that she was not William’s girlfriend. She also confessed that she has attempted to poison him with the blood vermin but had been unsuccessful. Valeria has instead taken advantage of her failure.”
“How ruthless and outrageous of her! How could there be such a shameless woman like her?” Deborah was pissed off.
“You’re right, but Valeria is not innocent as well. I was told by Natasya that William would listen to everything that Valeria tells him. He wanted to share his updates with us but was halted by Valeria. I think she does not intend to let us know about their relationship.”
Fandrey frowned and asked, “Why would she do that?”
“I told grandma about this last time. Natasya has told me that Valeria’s mom was the reason behind my aunt’s death. Her mom has met with Matilda which has caused her to fall down and being sent to the hospital due to excessive bleeding.”
Fandrey snorted with an icy expression on his face and said, “Pfft! What a trouble-maker! I can’t believe that the shameless Natasya would use you to cause a scene.”
“Yes, I had given her an earful and warned her to not mess around with us. However, she claimed to be telling the truth and recommended us to get ahold about the death of my aunt if we are feeling skeptical about it.”
“Don’t worry as the truth would eventually come out. I will take a good look at it!”
Angel was secretly delighted upon hearing about Fandrey’s words. She then said, “Natasya had also told me the reason for William’s loyalness towards Valeria. She has drugged him with a love poison!”
“What?” Surprised looks had flashed across the faces of Fandrey and Deborah.
“Yes, you heard that right. I have no idea whether Natasya is telling the truth or not but this is just too unbelievable and outrageous. We must be cautious regardless of the truthfulness of this matter. Natasya is a ruthless woman and Valeria is not angelic either. I do not wish to see William getting hurt by them.”
Fandrey nodded upon hearing the convincing words of Angel, “Alright, we are well aware of it now. Don’t worry, we will protect your cousin brother at all cost!”
Angel eventually left as she had given them a precise message regarding Valeria being an accusable woman.
Deborah glanced at Fandrey and said, “Fandrey, what do you have in mind? If Angel is telling us the truth and Valeria has indeed drugged him with a love medicine, our beloved William would…”
Fandrey had a sullen expression on his face and said, “Haha! Are you convinced by such nonsense? Natasya has lost the game and is intending to use us against Valeria. How could I possibly be lured into her trap?”
Floyd was increasingly anxious and said, “Are you just going to sit back and do nothing? We can’t do that! We must seek the truth of our beloved Tilda and justice must be served. Tilda would not wish upon his son to marry the daughter of her murderer.”
“I’m going to do something about it, that’s for sure. We shall start by getting to know about the situation at that time. I am also currently waiting for William’s call. That bastard! Sammuel has called me but I have received no news from William yet. Are we not important to him at all?”
Fandrey was fuming with anger but was also helpless upon thinking about William’s actual identity. He had been ignoring William throughout the years as he had bad blood with Hayden. He did not expect William to be such an influential man.
William neither required their company’s share capital nor any assistance of the Floyd family. It was relatively difficult for Fandrey to interfere with William’s matters.
Fandrey was not a busybody as he was not a fan of meddling into the personal lives of others. He would be satisfied as long as Valeria would not do harm towards William. He was just concerned that Valeria was as evil as Natasya.
It was currently raining cats and dogs which were accompanied by countless lightning and thunderstorm. The VIP room of the club, in contrast, was in a merry situation. Abbie and Valeria had been occupying the mics and kept singing.
William was worried about Valeria and kept reminding her, “Honey, take it easy. Won’t the babies in your belly feel upset upon your excessive karaoke?”
It had been a long time since Valeria had partied so hard and was enjoying herself. “I’m fine. I have only been singing warm and gentle romantic songs. The babies would feel calm as they would think that I’m singing them a lullaby.”
Richard burst into laughter and said, “You’re pregnant but still managed to sing continuously so well. Could it be possible that your babies might be the future well-known singers?”
“I think so too,” Michael also joined in the fun.
Archer shook his head and whispered something to Natalie. She then got up and took the microphone away from Valeria and handed it to Braelynn instead.
“Mom, what are you doing?” Valeria asked.
“That’s enough for today. You are currently pregnant and your “a of singing is full. You should call it a day as it is getting late now.”
“Mom! It’s still early and I’m still feeling energetic!” Valeria refused.
“Did you realize the distressed look on William’s face? You sang and danced happily while he has been keeping a close eye on you. How pity of him to constantly be worried of you! You can’t just enjoy yourself and ignore your husband’s feelings, right?”
