Chapter 767 Absolute Restriction

Book:That Stranger Lying Beside Me Published:2024-6-1

Azalea had arrived happily but was eventually gotten rid of the private room. Archer, who had been silent, sneered and said, “That disgusting person can enter the club whenever she desires. This is an abomination! She should be forbidden to set foot at the home grounds of Saunders family from now onwards!”
Valeria glanced at William and said coquettishly, “Honey! Did you hear what my dad just said?”
William wrapped his arms around her waist and grinned, “Yes, my love. I’ll tell my father about it and she would not be allowed to enter the properties belonging to the Howard family as well!”
He then glanced at the Davis couple for a moment and said, “By the way, I shall call Marcus later to instruct him about the restriction of her entry upon all Wolf Group’s territory. How about that?”
“Honey, how kind of you!” Valeria was extremely satisfied with it.
Archer had made such a fuss just to fulfill Valeria’s discontentment towards Azalea and William had also sided with her. Valeria was evidently very precious in the Howard family.
Meadow had planned things meticulously and was convinced to win this round of battle. Things had, unfortunately, turned out the opposite way that she had expected. She was so ashamed and wanted to get out of there so badly.
William decided to press things further and said, “Michael is a well-known lawyer and why would you do such a ridiculous thing? Is she the last woman standing on earth? Aren’t the Davis family afraid of being a laughing stock by intending in marrying your son to a worthless piece of shit?”
Stanty let out an awkward cough and said, “We did not refuse as they were both deeply in love with each other.”
“Who says so? I am being placed in this messy situation all thanks to mom and Azalea. Didn’t you hear what she said just now? She lied just to make mom happy.” Michael immediately retorted.
“Alright, the mood should not be ruined because of a mere piece of shit. Let’s enjoy our dinner and have a good time tonight!”
Sammuel went back to his room and locked himself in while being lost in his thoughts for a long time. It was shocking upon learning that Valeria was indeed the wife of William.
He had just received an instruction from Deborah to investigate Matilda’s death thoroughly as something fishy had happened. Matilda did not pass away due to dystocia but was instead killed by Natalie.
Wasn’t Natalie the current wife of Archer and happened to be Valeria’s biological mother?
He had no updates about Matilda’s matter and was currently bombarded with William and Valeria being a legitimate pair of husband and wife. His head was in a mess.
Fandrey and Deborah were very concerned about William’s marriage. Sammuel wondered how they would react upon receiving the news that William was happily married to Valeria.
It would be alright should the Floyd couple accepted his marriage. However, they might make a fuss if they were feeling uncomfortable about it. This was a troublesome matter as William would definitely not give in judging by the current situation.
It was not wise for Sammuel to hide things from them and he decided to go with the flow. It was hoped that Fandrey and Deborah would eventually accept William’s marriage. Sammuel also prayed that Matilda’s death had nothing to do with Natalie.
He finally decided to call Fandrey when it was daytime in New York.
Fandrey had awakened and was ready to head out for his routine morning exercise. His phone suddenly rang and he then answered the call, “Sammuel!”
“Sir Fandrey, I am calling to notify you about William’s matter. He… He is married, and Valeria is his legitimate wife.”
“What?” Fandrey was taken aback and asked further, “William is married? When did it happen? Why didn’t he tell us about it? What about the wedding ceremony? Did he lie to you?”
Sammuel helplessly replied, “No, William is telling the truth. He was seen together with Valeria and they addressed each other just like any married couple would.”
Fandrey interrupted and said, “It does not prove anything as youngsters nowadays would address their partners in this way.”
“His trustworthy bodyguard had also addressed Valeria as Mrs. Saunders and was very respectful towards her. William has openly admitted his marriage and they officially became a pair before he got injured. They have signed the papers but have yet to perform the wedding ceremony.”
“I don’t believe it! This can’t be true!” Fandrey was slightly agitated and continued, “Didn’t he lose his memory? How was it possible for him to remember the past?”
“Sir Fandrey, I have something more to tell you. Do you recall that William would experience a headache upon hearing Valeria’s name? He casually mentioned her name when he talked to me today and he did not suffer from a bad reaction. I believe that he has recovered from it.”
Fandrey was fuming with anger upon hearing about it. “His health has improved and even remembers his past. How dare he hide things from us? Could it be that he does not trust us?”
“I don’t think so. He might have other plans in mind.” Sammuel was careful of his words and continued, “Fandrey, Valeria is the eldest daughter of the Saunders family. She is a beautiful woman and is compatible with William based on social status and appearance. They are for real as she is currently pregnant.”
“What? A perfect match? Haha!” Fandrey sneered and ended the call. He stared at Deborah, who was standing beside him. “William, that bastard! He has the guts to deceive us!”
Debra had been paying attention to the conversation and asked, “Is he really married? Why would he hide it from us then? This is indeed outrageous as we have been very considerate towards him!”
Fandrey decided to call off his morning exercise and sat down while puffing with anger. “There must be something fishy going on!”
“What do you have in mind?” Deborah asked.
“Why would he hide his recovery from us? Isn’t it delightful to hear about his improved health and having a wife who is currently pregnant? We would be happy for him if he notifies us about this good news. It doesn’t make any sense for him to keep things a secret from us, right?”
“He’s not close with us as we have been distancing ourselves from him for the past twenty years. It’s normal for him to not put his trust in us,” Deborah sighed.
Fandrey agreed on her point and said, “I am aware of this too. We are foreign to him because of Hayden. Didn’t we plan his shares of our fortune long ago? We would do no harm towards him.”
“He doesn’t know about it! Could it be that Hayden has badmouthed us upon his return back home?” Deborah guessed.
“That’s for sure! He has crossed the line!” Fandrey was feeling extremely upset and continued, “Hayden does not own him as William is also the son of my beloved Tilda. There is no way in hell that Hayden will be able to boss William around!”
