William let go of Valeria and sat up. He was racked in pain as the discomfort was getting out of hand.
William was feeling nauseous and he then got out of bed with his hands on his chest. He felt dizzy as if the world was spinning.
Cold sweat broke out on his forehead, and a negative thought flashed through his mind.
Was this antidote really poisonous? Had he been tricked?
The pain was getting intense as well as the nauseousness but he did not want to disturb Valeria. He then opened the door and called Bobby for help.
Bobby was resting in the room that was next to William. He rushed out as soon as he heard William’s cry for help. “Sir William, what’s wrong?”
“I feel uncomfortable and ill! My chest hurts so much!” William lowered his voice as he didn’t want to wake Valeria up.
Bobby swiftly reached out his hand to support William, “There must be something wrong with the antidote! Damn it! How dare he lie to us! I’m going to kill Gonzalec and his family for sure!”
Bobby cursed while supporting William up and continued, “Sir William, I’ll bring you to the doctor! Hang in there!”
William was in agony and sweat had trickled down his forehead and they soon had passed through the corridor. He panted and reminded Bobby, “If anything happens to me, keep it a secret from Valeria. She must give birth safely!”
“Sir William, don’t say that! You will be alright!”
“We don’t have time for that. You have to promise me that you will take care of the children and Valeria! Do not let anything bad happen to them like how I went missing last time!”
“I’ll keep it in mind! Sir William, keep calm. Things aren’t as bad as it seems.” Bobby’s eyes watered and he offered, “Let me carry you there!”
“No, it’s fine… I… I…” Before William could finish his sentence, his chest was feeling uneasy and his mouth had a funky odor. He suddenly spat out a large blood clot.
Bobby was taken aback and shouted, “Sir William!”
“I’m fine! I… I think I feel much better already!” The pain in his chest subsided after the cough and he felt much more comfortable. He then wiped the bloodstain off of his mouth.
He asked while staring at the blood clot, “What’s that?”
Bobby took a good look and saw that there was something squirming in the blood clot.
“Is that… Is that the vermin?” Bobby stared at the squirming creature in surprise.
“I guess so?” William stared at it shockingly. Bobby wanted to check the vermin but was halted by William, “Don’t touch it! It’s dangerous and deadly! Just kill it without touching it.”
Bobby nodded and poured some disinfectant on it. The vermin was then lit up with a lighter and they watched it being burned to ashes.
William turned around as he didn’t feel the need to see the doctor anymore. Bobby followed him and asked, “Sir William, how are you feeling?”
“I’m feeling much better! The nauseousness has subsided as well,” William replied.
“Have you regained your memory?” Bobby asked.
“I…” William stopped and rubbed his forehead as he felt a little dizzy. “I remember some of it but it’s not a clear picture. Val’s name is not Valentina, but Valeria, isn’t it?”
Bobby let out a sigh of relief as William did not have a headache after mentioning her name. “Yes, Sir. Her name is Valeria.”
“I see!” William grinned slyly and continued, “Natasya tried to control me and made me suffer if I hear Valeria’s name. How dare she! She was hoping to gain authority so that she can do whatever she wants! Fortunately, God is on my side and everything is fine now.”
“Yes, you’re right. God was kind enough to let you land on your feet. However, Anderson and Anthony are going to have a taste of hell soon!”
“Don’t worry. I will never let them off the hook!” William breathed out a sigh of relief and said, “I’ll take a shower and rest up. Let’s see if I can remember more things by tomorrow.”
“Okay, Mr. William. Please do not hesitate to call me if you need any help!”
William made his way to the bed after a quick shower. He looked at Valeria with a gentle smile on his face and hugged her gently. He gradually closed his eyes and decided to call it a day after kissing Valeria on the face.
In the morning, William was awakened by Valeria as she reached out to pinched his face continuously. “William, I’m hungry! I want to have something nice!”
William suddenly opened his eyes and looked at Valeria. “Honey?”
Valeria was confused and asked, “What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me like this?”
“Honey! My beloved wife!” William hugged Valeria and kissed her passionately.
Valeria was breathless and said, “Wait! Give me a break! Honey, I’m out of breath!”
William stopped kissing her and hugged her tightly instead. He whispered in her ear, “Honey! My lovely wife! I miss you dearly!”
“Wait a minute! Honey, do you remember me? Have you regained all your memories?” Valeria asked while cupping his face.
“Yes, I remember them all! Your name is Valeria and you are my wife! You’re the woman that I love the most!”
Valeria screamed joyfully and rushed towards William to give him a kiss. They teased and joked on the bed and were having the time of their lives.
The servant had brought breakfast and was walking towards the ward. She immediately pushed the door open and said, “Stop! Sir William, please stop fooling around! You might hurt the baby and that won’t be good!”
William paused for a moment and carried Valeria in his arms instead. He made a twirl without having his shoes on.
Valeria held his neck and giggled but the servant was madly worried. “Sir, you’re walking barefoot. The coldness can do harm to your body!”
“Valeria is still pregnant and you will make her dizzy by twirling around. Please let her down now!”
William ignored the servant as she continued to ramble on. He held Valeria in his arms and didn’t want to let her go.
They continued to joke around while the servant watched in fear. She would have turned a blind eye if the pair were not expecting. However, it was a different story now and Hayden would give her a hard time should anything bad happen to them.
She then raised her voice and said, “Sir William, it’s time for Valeria to have her breakfast!”
William finally stopped messing around but continued to hold Valeria in his arms and said, “Honey, I missed you and I love you so much! You amaze me! How brilliant of you to be pregnant with twins!”
Valeria smiled sweetly and was feeling relieved. William had finally regained his memory and had remembered her. She no longer had to see him racked in pain whenever her name was mentioned. What else could make her happier than that?
