EPISODE NINETY TWO
THEME: Pathetic Jayden
MOON STONE FORTRESS
Jayden groaned in pain as he moved around in bed. Juno leaped from the couch she had been resting on to attend to him. Luna Meagan walked in at the same time too with a glass in her hand. She had asked no one to help her with it because she wanted to see her son. Seeing Jayden move in discomfort she almost dropped the glass.
“What’s wrong with him?” Meagan asked Juno who was trying to wipe off the sweats on his forehead.
“Get your hands off me!” Jayden growled viciously.
Stepping back from him, Juno exchanged a look with Meagan wondering what got him so riled up when he had only just woken up. Jayden sat up, holding onto the side for his belly and he glared at the women in front of him.
“You both should get out of my sight right this minute!” He snarled.
Not bothering to ask why, Juno and Meagan left the room for him. Jayden seethed his teeth in pain and anger as he got off the bed and staggered his way into the bathroom. Checking the mirror, his veins popped out in anger even more when he saw the clawed mark of Jaylen starting from his right eyebrow down to the bags underneath his eyes. It was a fresh clean cut.
Jayden banged his hands on the mirror and shattered it to pieces. The glasses cut through the skin on his knuckles causing the spot to bleed. There was no way he would take such shit from Jaylen or anyone. He had a quick bathe, got dress and he grabbed his car keys. Despite his unstable state, Jayden moved swiftly down to the stairs, ignoring everyone he met on the way.
Getting into his personal car, he drove out of the car park like a maniac with only one thought in mind-Lorelei! Jayden almost rammed into a tree as he drove roughly down the road. Driving at an extreme high speed, it didn’t take long for him to arrive at the Beta’s residence.
Storming his way in and ignoring the attempts of the few wolf warriors that probably came to see the Beta to prevent him from entering. As he bursted into the living room, he saw Lorelei coming down the stairs and she looked dressed and dolled up for an outing.
“I see you have no care in the world for you to look all dolled up when I am practically fighting for my life.” Jayden bickered with his hair swooshing past his face.
Lorelei had a blank look on her face as she stepped down few feet away from him. “Why should I be worried about you?”
Jayden kissed his teeth as he took two long strides to get to her and breathing in her face. “How dare you Lorelei?!” He grimaced.
Lorelei stared at him with a confused look on her face. “What the hell are you talking about? I have no explanation to give to you, Jayden.” She glared at him before making an attempt to walk past him.
Jayden grabbed her upper arm tightly and swirled her to face him. He was annoyed at how rude she responded to him. One look at her face and all he wants to do is hold her up against the wall and make Lorelei scream out his name both in pain and pleasure. The thought of Jaylen having a feel of her when he has been practically begging to be with her for years made him rage mad. Just the thought of his brother’s lips on her in his head made him push her against the floor.
“Have you lost it!” Lorelei howled in anger with a wide eye.
“You are either mine or no one else!” Jayden seethed.
Lorelei managed to get up and she dusted herself. “You really have some guts to come into my home to threaten me this way, Jayden. I don’t feel nothing for you. Seriously? You have no shane at all. And I would never be with a playboy like yourself! So don’t you ever come close to me!”
“Don’t you dare talk to me like that!” Jayden growled as he made an attempt to slap her.
Sebastian showed up all of a sudden, he held his hands tightly with his wolf trying to appear on a surface and with a hard grunt, he pushed Jayden making him land on the floor. That was easy because Jayden was still clearly weak from yesterday’s fight with his brother.
“What the fuck has gotten over you?! What guts did you get possessed with to come into my home and harass my sister?!” Sebastian looked livid.
Julius and Hazel rushed into the living when they heard nosies from their room. Hazel pulled Lorelei away from both men. Jayden stood up, wiping his hands at his mouth as he let out a dry chuckle.
“You knew all along didn’t you? You knew Jaylen was screwing your sister!” He snarled.
Sebastian didn’t let him start his next word before punching him right in the face. “Take that bastard, that’s for disrespecting my sister and my parents.”
Jayden staggered, trying to swing back at Sebastian but he was weak. “Oh look at you mighty boy boy, Jaylen must have really had a few good hits on you!”
Jayden spat out blood. “I will get back at you for this! Everyone of you will pay for humiliating me!” He threatened.
“Get out of my house, Jayden!” Hazel yelled showing herself in front of him. “And if you try to mess with any of my children you would have me to contend with. Get the hell out!” She stomped her feet for emphasis this time.
Staying back, Jayden kept his eyes on Lorelei and Sebastian who had his arms placed on her shoulder just to protect her from whatever move he might want to make on her again.
“We’ll see to that… aunt!” He gritted before turning back to the door.
Hazel slumped to the floor after he left while Sebastian ran to hold her up. “Mom!”
“What exactly is all this mess about?” Julius questioned as he checked to check if his daughter was
fine.
“I need to be sure he has left.” Sebastian said.
Jogging his way to the door, Sebastian saw Jayden battling with the keys of his car. It felt really shameful seeing Jayden look so pathetic. He hadn’t expected him to act so low and come over to their house. Jayden knew from the beginning that Lorelei wasn’t so into him, but being the spoilt brat he was, Jayden had the confidence that he could get whatever he wanted from anyone and not stopping to think of the inconvenience he might be causing such person.
Watching his car drive out, Sebastian could feel a feud brewing and it was definitely near. To top it all the Alpha position still lingered with just a thread. Thoughts of how Jayden would result to the fact that they all betrayed him and how unforgiving he would be.
Julius moved towards his son and placed a hand on his shoulder. “You just lost a friend.” He said.
Sebastian gritted. “I don’t care losing tons of friends for my sister.”
His father shook his head. “You know it’s not just that. I hope you are ready?”
Sebastian blinked severally as he heaved a sigh. “I can do that.” He muttered, even though fear lingered in his mind.
Taking in a deep breath, Sebastian hoped he would have enough strength to withstand the storm to come.
