CAMILLE’S POV :
“Oh well I am Alpha Luke’s brother. Just got back, though I won’t be staying for long”, Alex explained to me as I continued listening and eating.
“I didn’t know Alpha Luke had a brother though, so like where you going back too? You have a mate in another pack or?”, I questioned curiously.
Alex chuckled lightly, “no I haven’t found my mate yet and it’s actually for work and other stuffs”.
I nodded my head in understanding, “oh I see”.
“And what about you? Do you have a mate? You don’t seem too”, he asked me and I almost swallowed my food in the wrong place.
I coughed out a little bit and then Alex offered me a glass of juice, which I of course agreed too.
I smiled softly, “yes I do have a mate”.
Alex smirked while looking at me. Why is he giving me that look, “but I don’t see a mating mark”.
“I see”, I continued eating.
“So why haven’t your mate marked you yet?”, He pressed on the topic.
“I don’t think you should be asking me that with all due respect”, I replied as calmly as I could.
“It was just a question, you don’t need to be so up tight about it”, he scoffed.
I just laughed and looked at him, “excuse me”. I said , getting up and taking my stuff’s with me. I am not going to allow this guy, ruin this night for me.
Suddenly, without warning, Alex pulled me unexpectedly close to him. There were guests in the sitting room. I gasped in shock, not expecting the sudden movement. I felt his hands on my waist as he pulled me even closer, my heart racing in my chest.
But then it happened. He grabbed my ass, giving it a firm squeeze. I was furious, my mind reeling with the sudden violation of my personal space. I tried to pull away but he held me close, not letting go.
I finally managed to break away, pushing him away feeling irritated, I didn’t want to cause a scene today but if Alex pushes me, I’ll do that with all pleasure. I felt violated and embarrassed, my cheeks burning with rage. I looked him in the eyes, my voice shaking with anger. “How dare you! I can’t believe you just did that!”
Alex seemed unfazed, his expression unchanged. He just smiled and said, “It was just a bit of fun. No harm done.”
I was so angry I could barely speak and then slapped him, a very hot dirty slap, “don’t you ever disrespect a lady like that”.
I walked out to where the others were, I had no idea Alex was following me and then my shoulder was dragged.
I quickly dodged the slap he wanted to give to me. How dare he? Before he could do much worse, Liam already caught his have and punched him in the stomach, making Alex groan in pain.
“You will not disrespect our Alpha, young man”, Liam told him deadly.
“What’s going on here?”, Alpha Luke asked, coming with his wife/mate.
“Let go of my brother”, he ordered Liam but Liam didn’t let go and Alpha Luke stood, waiting for Liam too.
“Let him be”, I told Liam calmly. Liam gave Alex one last look and let him go .
“You had the guts to slap me, you bitch, your not even happy I wanted you”, Alex shouted at me. Okay that was it. I punched him in the fucking face, making him loose conciousness.
“Tame your brother Alpha Luke. I didn’t mean to be disrespectful but I don’t see why I will get insulted just because I didn’t let him be with me, he already grabbed me and I didn’t do much. He doesn’t have any right too”, I explained to Alpha Luke.
“No Camille, I’m also sorry for how he acted. Please take my apologies on his behalf”, Alpha look urged on his brother’s behalf.
I looked at Alpha Luke, and smiled softly, “it’s alright, apology accepted”.
“Great then, please everyone get back to enjoying yourselves” Luna Abigail announced, while Alpha Luke ordered some people to take his brother to his room(brothers room).
After spending some more we decided to call it a night. I and my acquaintances or should I say my family went over to Alpha Luke and his and thanked them for inviting us, also told them we will be taking our leave now.
They thanked us for coming, we exchange hugs and left the place.
Getting into the car, we drove back home, in different cars though but I’m sure the other people in the other car was talking about how tonight was spectacular. I myself was talking about it, it was a good way to relax and just enjoy one’s self.
We weren’t too far from the Red Sky Pack, when three cars pulled up, one in front of us, blocking our way. The second at the back and the last one by our side.
“What’s all this now?”, I muttered.
“Alpha Alpha, do you hear me?”, Liam asked through the mind link.
“Yes I do Liam. I’m going to come down from the car now”, I told him.
“Be careful, I will be coming down too”, Liam informed me.
I turned to the people in my car, “Everyone stay in and don’t come out. If a fights start, my aunt will join in. The rest please just stay safe”. In my car it was just I, my Aunt, Aiden’s mum and Miss Clara. While we left the other car for Liam and his mate.
“Be careful sweeetie”, Aiden’s mum said and held my hand. I smiled at her and I assured her I will.
Stepping out for the car, I saw that Liam was out as well and the people from the car had all stepped down. They didn’t smell like rogues, rather they smelled like people I should know, maybe from a pack or something.
Who could they be? And who sent them?
