Because I was embarrassed by what he was saying, I moved to the far end of the seat, squeezed in there, and let him talk. Wife his face. Is such a thing possible? All the women he fucks must be his future brides. If only my blood could be turned into soup, I would have done it because my head had been boiling for him. Despite the fact that he was on my side, he squeezed me simply to be near to me. I shoved him, but he nestled on my shoulder and feigned to sleep.
I put my hand on the window and covered my mouth with my palm to keep the weird smile from appearing. I stared out the window and let it strain my eyes and while watching the lights at night, I fell asleep without realizing it. I simply awoke with my head on his legs. I sprang up, turned around and then touched my face to see whether there was any saliva on it.
When I peeked out the window, the car was still running and we hadn’t arrived. I believed I had gotten more sleep; I was still weary, but I was fighting it. When I observed him, he just sat there watching my every move. I diverted my gaze from him, and he followed me. I assumed he had departed while I was sleeping. I returned to my seat and took another glance outdoors. I’m not sure why we put up with each other when we were so awkward with each other.
When I noticed the cab approaching our gate, I looked at Turstin, thinking, “Don’t he tell me he’ll still come with me even if I enter?” When the cab screeched to a halt, he just returned my gaze and showed me the door. I, too, glanced at it and scowled. He opened my door from the inside, allowing me to go, and he also came out to see me. I took out my money to pay for the taxi cost. I wouldn’t invite him since he turned his back on me while pretending to be busy. What can I say to my parents once he’s inside?
I could hear his every step as I walked. I didn’t look at him and let my father become angry at him. In my rush, I assumed he’d never catch up with me, but we were like Tom and Jerry were pursuing each other. In what we do, we act like children. When we arrived inside, I heard someone conversing in the kitchen and dashed there. He’s stalking me like a serial murderer. When I got to the kitchen, I instantly embraced and yelled at my father.
“DAAADD! SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO KILL ME!” I yelled so loudly that they would go deaf as a result of the volume of my voice. I want to giggle in my head because I know my daddy will be furious as soon as he realizes I’m not lying.
Turstin rushed in from the kitchen, still breathless since he tried but couldn’t catch up to me. When everyone in the kitchen turned to stare at Tusrtin, I repressed my laughter. My father held my hand, and I grinned happily at him. I felt I was the winner until one of my daddy’s visitors stood up and approached Turstin.
“Son, we’ve been waiting for you for a while,” the guy said, and there was no doubt it was his father because their looks were identical. I even noticed another visitor and realized it was his mother. They are well-known to me since who doesn’t know who is always content in a weekly blog or a magazine?
“Oh my, oh my. You are absolutely right; your child is stunning. ” The woman who I think felt was bewildered by my features stared at me. My mother chuckled at what the woman was saying, so I hid my face from the back of my father like a kid. Because I wasn’t used to being complimented, the back of my ear flushed.
“Please be patient with my daughter’s conduct; she just returned from another country, and I haven’t informed her about it yet,” my papa said, scratching his chin. Others might believe I had been there for a long time if he stated I was from another nation, even if I had only been there for an hour.
I couldn’t understand what they were saying. I was perplexed by their topic. What hasn’t my father told me yet? As they glanced at me, I asked my father what he meant. I haven’t even been able to sleep, like though I’ve had a revelation that I will never ignore. I stared at them, whispering to my father. Turstin, on the other hand, had his eyes expanded as he couldn’t take his smile off his lips.
“Dad, what are you telling them I don’t know yet?” Even though I lowered my voice I knew they could hear me. My daddy looked up at me. Next, he looked at Turstin then called out to him.
“Tustin.” He motioned to my side but I immediately growled.
“DAD!”
“Ava, if you don’t want to or if you do, you must marry him. I used to advise you to select someone from whom you may pick. It is now up to us to make the decision for you.” My daddy remarked with a chuckle, looking at my wide jaw, and my jaw eventually fell as a result of what he said.
“Meet your fiance.”
