Shane Moss feels flustered. He likes how Zeeb has been able to rally them up. The men were already in support of their cause, but they always need a little bit of motivation here and there. And Shane Moss like that Zeeb is able to give them such motivation. He is glad for the kind of person Zeeb his, and for having him.
He appreciates Stallone Deal too. Even though he knows the man has no other choose than to support him. Alpha Jax could ruin Stallone’s reign by dropping irrefutable facts about what he did to his wife. How he sold his daughter, and some other things he has done. It would make people start competing against him for the title of Alpha. He would have to fight against lots of men till eventually, he gets tired and worn out. Then, he will probably be killed. Shane already used these to threaten him, so that’s why Stallone is being supportive.
Zeeb already told them that he has an announcement. He does not know if he is ready to make it, or how the Alphas would accept it. It’s something he himself found disgusting, and these Alphas with pride would reject them almost immediately.
“My Alphas, welcome. Thanks for honouring my call from the first day I ever came to your help. For those who helped me rally other Alphas, I appreciate. Like he said, I have some things to announce. But before I do that, I just want to tell you some things I did in my pack as preparation for this war.
I and my council members did lots of meeting. I have provided instructions on how my pack will be protected and fed while we are at war. It’s important that I protect my people. I do not know how to give detailed reports. That will be the Job of Zeeb,” Shane Moss smiled to Zeeb. Zeeb bowed. And others followed suit. Zeeb turned back to the Alphas.
“For the announcement, it’s something you Alphas, might find grossly disgusting. It’s about some people I got as allies,” Shane Moss said. The Alphas looked at each other. Since they had no idea of what it could be, they looked at him and kept listening.
“There are some group of werewolves who have decided that they don’t want to be under structure like us. They have been wronged by Alpha Jax. He kiiled their members on the county hotel. I was brought to reside over him. I tried my best to make sure he was persecuted but Alpha Jax influence runs within the court of the county. So I called them and asked if they would want justice,” Shane said.
“Who are these people?”
“Yeah! Who are they?”
“The story you gave is familiar. And these people you describe are familiar. I just pray to the goddess that it’s not what I think it is,” an Alpha prayed.
“My Alphas, if I tell you who they are, I hope you will listen to me at least, and not just react or storm out,” Shane Moss begged. Most of these Alphas fear him, but if they do not support him. They could all just kill him and kill the rogue pack members he was about to introduce. But he prays things don’t go awry.
“That will largely determine on who they are?” Stallone Deal said.
“My Alpha, our next ally in this coming war against Alpha Jax are the Rogue pack,” Shane Moss announced.
“What?”
“Rogue pack?”
“Is this a joke? Rogue pack? You want us to fight with rogue pack. Those people who are brainwashed by whatever evil they are feeding themselves,” The Alpha who prayed earlier said again.
“Alpha Tmeon, believe me, it’s not evil. We just do not want to understand them,” Shane Moss defended them.
“Do you mock us and try to convert us to being part of them? Is this a war for them?” Alpha Tmeon argued.
“No! I dare not. I was appalled by their presence too. I hated what they were. Their beliefs and all. But we need their help. We need all the help we can get against Alpha Jax. It will not matter if after the war, we end them all. And those who were not on the battlefield, we hunt them and put an end to them,” Shane Moss said. The Alphas kept murmuring amongs themselves. Shane Moss was expecting it. He did not say anything. He sat down. He watched how the Alphas argued. Some of them supported him and most were against him. He looked at Zeeb.
“Let them argue all they want, eventually they will calm down,” whispered to Shane Moss.
“Oi Alphas, do you have better choices?” Stallone Deal dominated the hall with his voice. They all turned at him.
“You all have as if you have better choices. This is a war. Alpha Jax as I know him, will not hesitate to recruit them to be in his army. Why don’t we get them then? Let’s use them against him. They will be the last thing he will be expecting. We cannot allow Alpha Jax to win against us,” Stallone Deal said.
“But these people,” Alpha Tmeon said.
“Reserve your buts to after battle. We can end them there, just like he said,” Stallone pointed at Shane Moss.
While the Alphas keep arguing, Shane Moss called Rudolf.
“Go and bring the representatives of the Rogue pack.” Rudolf went out amidst arguing.
Minutes after Rudolf left, most of the Alphas have accepted. They heard a large knock on the door.
“My Alphas, the members of the rogue pack are about to come in, please let’s be calm with them,” Zeeb announced before he walked towards the door. He opened the Hall’s door. Rudolf came in first, and five men dress in nomadic clothing came in.
