Chapter 91

“So that’s why that Alpha Tmeon was against the rogue pack,” Alpha Shane Moss asked Zeeb.
“It’s surprising and touching at the same time,” Zeeb replied resting on the bed.
“Who could have thought?”
“You know at first, I was thinking we would have to drop him eventually. If he was the only one who would be against us, then we would have to drop him off,” Zeeb said.
“You know it was a good plan that we know their thoughts on the rogue pack before we tell them the strategy for the war. I have a question though?” Shane Moss asked. He switched his position and looked at Zeeb.
“How do you always come up with such genius plan?” Shane Moss asked.
“Stop it. I come up with my plans because you guys come up with plans that suck. And from those your dumb plans, I formulate good ones,” Zeeb said.
“Are you saying your Alpha is dumb?”
“Is my Alpha scared I am saying he is dumb?” Zeeb teased. Both of them laughed.
“I can get you punished for that.”
“Will you though?”
“No! It will be only affirming your statement that I am dumb. I mean you helped us a lot today. I would have spilled all my strategy to the Alphas and then later discover that Alpha Tmeon best friend and Beta defected to the rogue pack, just because Alpha Tmeon did not allow his Beta marry his daughter?” Shane Moss scoffed.
“People are selfish. And at times they make other people seem selfish?” Zeeb said.
“How is that possible? How can selfish people make you feel selfish?”
“I have been in a situation before. Not a very reasonable situation but it goes like this. I was watching a movie in my hostel, back at the academy. I came first and was watching the movie. My roommates who woke up late came to me, and they asked me to change the channel I was watching.
You know why, just because they don’t like the one I was watching. They did not care about me. I rejected. They said I was being selfish. They tried to use the fact that their own collective selfish interest is better than my own interest. It was a weird experience. So since then, I believe everyone is selfish,” Zeeb narrated.
“Hmm! I see,” Shane Moss sighed.
“My Alpha, I have to leave now. There are some things I need to put into plans,” Zeeb bowed and left.
Shane Moss remained in his room. He thought of things he has been doing for the past three months, how he had to kill some rebelling faction of his council, and destroy a smaller Alpha for it, just so he could get enough resources for the coming war. He thought of how he and his friend became bandits. They have been waylaiding people and stealing their goods, all for the war. It’s been a rough three months for him.
Once in a while, he fears if the plan would succeed. If he would be able to kill Alpha Jax and get his mate. He has watched his mate. He has confirmed that his mate is alive. He has not just gotten to him. But now, he is not pondering on if Benjamin is still alive or not. He wonders if Benjamin still has such feelings as he use to. He wonders if Benjamin still feel the hotness of their love. If Benjamin misses him. He prays Benjamin would accept him back as his mate.
It’s not just Shane Moss who is thinking about Benjamin. Even Omarr had been giving thoughts to what sort of person Benjamin is. He has heard a lot about him from Shane, but he would like to see him in person. If he is as wonderful and sweet as Shane has said. And to Omarr, the only thing that would make Benjamin qualify as a sweet person is if he would not negatively affect their relationship. If he would allow them keep having such blissful moment together.
Omarr still accepts that deep in his heart, he loves Shane Moss more than anyone else. And as he is, he is ready to kill for being with him.
“We could kill him,” his wolf whispered to him. Omarr tried to ignore it.
“Omarr, believe me. I am just as worried as you are. It will affect us. Let’s end him and we will have him forever. At the battle, we could get some mercenaries to kill Benjamin. We will get rid of those mercenaries, and Shane Moss will be ours,” his wolf advised. Omarr wondered if it’s a good idea to follow his wolf’s idea.
“Do you have a better plan of keeping Shane?” His wolf asked him. Omarr nodded.
“Then we are going with it,” his wolf concluded.
Omarr heard a knock on his door, and he rushed to it. He opened it. It’s Shane.
“My Alpha, what are you doing here?”
“Can’t I be in your room anymore?”
“You are always welcome,” Omarr opens his door and welcome Shane Moss in.
“I feel lonely in my room. That’s why I am here,” Alpha Jax said. Omar goes close to him and hug him.
“I feel comfortable and anxious. Everything seems so calm and time is going really really slow,” Shane Moss said.
“I think it’s all of us that can relate. I don’t know if this is a perfect example, but I think this is what they call the calmness before storm right?” Omarr said.
“Only the goddess knows,” Shane Moss said. Omarr blinked his eyes in support.
“I could use some company right now,” Shane said and asks him to sit beside him.
“Should I get the other guys. I will just ring that bell and they will be here.”
“I could have ring the bell, and you will all be in my room. I just want to be with you,” Alpha Shane Moss said and held Omar’s shoulder. He grabbed Omarr closer to him. Omarr peck his forehead.
“It’s tomorrow evening that we go out yeah? We could as well have one more fun time in the room. Me and you,” Shane Moss said, before kissing Omarr. Omarr kissed him back, and both of them did not stop.
