Shane Moss sat on his chair in his court. Zeeb, Omarr and others surrounded him. They stood close to him.
“How long will they be here?” Rudolf asked.
“Let them take their time. These are Alphas. We do not have control over them. And here we are seeking their help, so let’s be calm,” Omarr said. Others agreed. Rudolf nodded. He is not the kind who usually gets worried about things but he seems anxious.
Shane Moss understands him. Even Shane himself is anxious. He fears for what he plans to do today might not go well. He is scared but he does not want to say it out.
“What if it does not work out?” Adal asked
“Yes! That’s it. Thanks. That’s a question I have,” Shane Moss smiled in his head. They all looked at Zeeb for some response. He is the most intelligent one. And he is the one who asked that this meeting be held today. Shane Moss knee the meeting would happen, but he was never prepared for it.
“Well, let’s hope it works out,” Zeeb said with a breaking voice. He is scared too but no one notice it. And no one wants to say it.
“Am I right if I say everyone here is scared and we are worried this might not work out. And we are a bit disappointed that even Zeeb is not sure it might work out,” Odolf said. No one said anything. They all looked at him.
“What? I asked if I am right. Am I?” Odolf asked again. Shane appreciates the honesty of Odolf. A perfect example of brawn and everyone else is his brain. But right now he just said what’s on everyone’s mind.
“You are right,” Shane said and others nodded.
“See? I knew it.”
“Why are you guys disappointed in me?” Zeeb asked, looking around.
“It’s supposed to be a compliment. I wouldn’t put it the way Odolf did, but believe me, we mean well,” Omarr said. Shane Moss laughed.
“Than you guys for…” The creaking of the council’s large door interrupted Shane Moss. Alphas began trooping in. In twos, threes and they kept coming. It all ended up to being fourteen Alphas who came. Shane Moss stood up to welcome each of them. They shake him and they all find a place to sit. Stallone Deal came in last. He shook hands with Shane, and he went to sit at the end of the hall.
Zeeb walked forward.
“Welcome my Alphas. I am Zeeb, and today I shall serve as the one who reside over this meeting,” he now before other Alphas.
“Dear Alphas, I and my Alpha have come to you all 8n your pack with glad tidings of a salvation from an Alpha who rules with terror. Either he has once collected part of your lands, or he collected your daughter, or he unjustly disrespect you in your pack. One way or the other, we all must agree that Alpha Jax deserves to be purged,” Zeeb paused. He received positive feedback from the Alphas and he continued.
“Like my Alpha had said, we are not interested I’m ruling over his pack. It’s not of interest. As a matter of fact, my Alpha was never interested in ruling any pack at all…”
“Then why did he take the throne from an Alpha who was interested in ruling,” Stallone Deal asked. The question caught Zeeb unaware.
“My Alpha, it came as am opportunity. As part of his destiny. And he has no control over some parts of his destiny. This is a major part of his destiny, and like everyone’s major destiny, it goes according to how the goddess wants it.
My Alpha has reached an agreement with everyone on what they will get as rewards for participating in this battle. We are to only depose Alpha Jax. Kill him or embarrass him, then kill him. Our pack, will leave at that point, and we will leave you all to do whatever you like to the pack. So I ask this question, my Alphas, don’t you think it’s high time we depose this tyrant, called Alpha Jax?” Zeeb roared. The Alphas began purring and growling in support. They all agreed that it was time for Alpha Jax’s reign to come to an end. Some 9f the Alphas were not offended by Alpha Jax, but by his father. But they felt it would be fun to punish the son with the crimes of his father.
“You know,” Stallone Deal said from behind. It shut Zeeb’s moment, and the other Alphas stopped growling.
“I will not have supported this cause if not for what Alpha Jax did to me. Alpha Jax, a son of a bastard. He came to my Alpha after he discovered that my daughter was meant to be his mate. For some whatever reason or experience he has had with women, he hates women and does not want a mate. He threatens me and my daughter. My whole pack. He had his men beat me before his family and he paid me one fifty thousand dollars just so I forget about her. He bought my daughter and turned her to his sex slave. I know you all know my story that I came to be the Alpha illegally.
But you all can agree that power is power here. It does not matter if you come to the throne by killing the former Alpha or you inherit it. One thing you should never do is insult a man before his family. Do not make them suffer. But Alpha Kax did not insult just a man. He insulted me andy throne before my family. And for this, I say, we go all out in destroying him and his lackeys!” Stallone Deal hit his staff on the floor. He growled, and other Alphas growled.
“I am sure we all have sad stories in the hand of Alpha Jax. But before we draft out a plan to go about it, my Alpha, has something to show you,” Zeeb announced and he now before Shame Moss.
