In every religion in the world, in every society that ever rise and fall, people do theorise about sex. They say sex is something that is meant for married couples only. But just like every other law in the universe, such law gets broken. It’s an unwritten law that attracts punishment in some societies, and pre-marital sex does not attract punishment in some. In Bond-Moon pack and every other werewolf world, pre-marital sex is frowned at when it’s commited by low class.
Either way, there are still some people who believe that the reason pre-marital sex should be frowned at is because it boosts bond between people. And Benjamin is one of such people who believe that. And he told Ava that sex between both of them would not end. And because he believed it, when they had sex, he expected more between both of them, and he acts with such expectation.
Ava did not believe there would be bond between her and Benjamin.
“It does not work that way, Alpha Jax does not feel any bond with other werewolves he has sex with,” she had defended her point when Benjamin begged her to love him and not end their relationship with just sex.
“Don’t you feel a bond between him?” Benjamin asked Ava.
“Mine is different. Both of us are mates. It’s only normal that I get connected to him every time he has sex with me,” she replied him.
“How sure are you that others don’t feel the same way for him? Don’t you think they love him just like you do, or some might love him more?” Benjamin had argued but Ava did not listen to him. She ignored everything he said three months ago, and they had sex.
And now, she gets interested in him the more. He cares for her and she loves him for that. He listen to her and she loves him for that. His gestures of kindness did not go unrewarded. Ava fell in love with Benjamin.
Benjamin sits beside her on her bed. He is reading a book of accounting.
“I love you Benjamin,” Ava hugs him from behind.
“I love you too, my Lady,” Benjamin turned and kissed her. She tried pushing away his book so she could sit on his lap and hopefully, they will have sex.
“No! No, no, no, no. You will let me read,” he said and pushed her away jokingly.
“Come on. I haven’t had you in days. You have been busy with Alpha Jax,” Ava said.
“Yes! And that’s why you should let me rest,” Benjamin argued.
“Come on,” she begged. He kissed her more, then he stopped.
“By the way, when was the last time you were with Alpha Jax, or you had audience with him,” Benjamin asked.
“If you are talking about times when I met him on the road, and he ignores me, then maybe countless but as per my turn to satisfy him, I go to his room and I don’t meet him. He is not always around,” Ava said.
“I see,” Benjamin nodded.
“Is that supposed to be a bad thing?” Ava inquired.
“Definitely not. It’s not a bad thing at all,” Benjamin smiled.
“After all, his threat of I will get my way with you regardless of who you marry is but a empty threat,” Benjamin laughed. Ava did not. She hid her face for a minute and looked back at Benjamin. She stood up from his lap. And sit on the bed.
“What is it?” Benjamin asked her.
“You do realise this thing between us is for pending the time Lily comes back from her pilgrimage. I promised her that if Alpha Jax should become a new leaf by the time she is back, I will be with him. After all, he is my mate,” Ava sobbed.
“I understand baby. I understand you. For now, let’s pray the big bad wolf does not change,” Benjamin smiled.
“I pray so. But do you think he has changed?”
” I can’t say if he has changed or not. I mean, the duty that I have to him now is just to get him the ladies,” Benjamin said.
“And you have been excelling at that, haven’t you?” Ava teased Benjamin.
“Honestly, you should ask me to be someone who provides you men, and you will see how marvelous I am going to do at it,” Benjamin praised himself.
“Listen, says he who did not get himself any man or woman in years except a big bad wolf,” Ava laughed.
“Oh, see who doubts me. Is it the lady whose mate is the same big bad wolf?” Benjamin said and draw her closer. He kissed her.
“I don’t know what it is with me Benjamin, but I love you more as the day pass. You are the most caring, and kindest man I have ever met. Not just man, the most caring person. Lily tries but she is nothing compared to you,” Ava complimented him.
“Is it just now that you are seeing that I am a good person? Have I not alway been a good person? Is it because you are receiving good sex from me?” Benjamin teased.
“I swear by the goddess, you are dumb,” Ava laughed.
“Did I not tell you some time ago that the sex would affect how you see me?” Benjamin said.
“Just shut up and continue reading, you nerd!” Ava shouted at him and throw herself at him.
She noticed what Benjamin did when she brought up about Alpha Jax and if he has changed. Ava noticed how he change the topic and tried to make it a light hearted humour. She knows it troubles him. It probably give him sleepless night as it does to her too. She does not want to lose Benjamin. Even her wolf has began to shift his intention to Benjamin, but there is still the fact of the destiny made by the goddess. Even though she believes she can change her destiny by marrying Benjamin, another factor hindering her is the promise she made to Lily.
