Book:Alpha's Puppet  Published:2024-5-31

Alpha Jax kept looking out the window of his office. He has changed the settings of his office in recent months and things are a bit different. Now he has his table and chair close to the window. He could just peep out at whatever time he finds convenient for himself.
While looking out through the window, he saw his sex slaves and the warrior slaves right outside all interacting. He saw some of them getting intimate with each other. While still looking he saw the image of his father appearing slowly before him, till he could see his father fully, in his best regalia.
“Father?” He called out.
“Jax,” his father replied.
“How are you father? How do you do?”
“I am well rotting in my grave. Only when I come to the surface to check what the world is. When I come to receive whatever offering your has provided for me I’m your name, only then am I appalled by the sight of what you have made out of the Bond-Moon pack,” Alpha Jax father accused him.
“Our pack is still great, father. Mighty and supreme.”
“I see. It’s indeed supreme and mighty. Do you think I do not know of how much you fear that boy from the night wolf pack uhn? I know of the deal you struck with that Omega who became an Alpha, and formed the Deal pack. I know of everything,” his father complained.
“Father, there is no one strong enough to threaten this pack. We still stand whole father,” he said.
“And I hope you do it for a long time. May your rage not blind you…”
“Alpha Jax!” A voice echoed through his head. He jerked in shock. The voice interrupted his father’s voice. He blinked but he could not see his father anymore. He frown at whoever it was that called him.
“Are you seeing visions of you are hallucinating?” A familiar voice asked. It’s a voice Alpha Jax had not heard in months. It’s one he hopes not to hear in a long time. He guessed who it was, but he still turned to be sure.
“Lady Fey?”
“Alpha Jax!” Both of them look at each other for few seconds without saying anything.
“I wasn’t expecting you,” Alpha Jax broke the silence but he did not move his eyes away.
“You weren’t expecting me, and here I am,” Lady Fey repeated Alpha Jax.
“Why are you here? Is there anything I should be worried about?” Alpha Jax asked.
“Why am I here and is there anything you should…”
“I know what I said all right, you should just reply me,” Alpha Jax snapped at her. He watch her smile. Her right hand hanging close to her chin made him remember the first day he met her. How dreadful it was.
“Patience, Alpha. Patience,” she warned Alpha Jax. She moved closer to him. He did not take his eyes off of her.
“Why are you here?” Alpha Jax asked again.
“I came here to remind you of the subtle agreement between us. I hope you haven’t forgotten. I might start preparation soon. I just hope you start preparation too,” she said.
“Two Alphas and a hundred werewolves uhn?” Alpha Jax asked.
“I remember agreeing to such thing all right, I just don’t remember you telling me the potion’s will become ineffective later on,” Alpha Jax said.
“Ineffective? That’s not possible. It’s not possible,” she lamented.
“I drink it every now and then but I get nothing. Won’t you check it or something,” he asked.
“Let me have it,” he ordered him. Alpha Jax went to his fridge. He brought out the potion and passed it to her. She collected it poured a little amount into the cover of the bottle. She inhaled it and flicked her hand over it.
“It’s the same magic I used then that is still in this,” she confirmed it. “It must be something with your body.”
“Rama!”
“Who is that?”
“It’s my wolf,”
“Ah! I see. You think it’s the one?” Lady fey asked.
“He denied it.”
“Listen, if this girl whom you are using this to prevent is a mate from the goddess, right now, I can’t totally help you. The goddess is still stronger than I am. For some time, any new method I give you might keep you fresh, but will letter expire to be in her favour,” she said.
“What can be done?”
“Get me what I asked. And once I overpower your goddess, I can help you end your suffering,” Lady Fey promised.
“And you are sure it would work?” Alpha Jax asked.
“Yes. Trust me,” Lady Fey begged him.
“Oh no I don’t. I don’t trust no witches. I am only tolerating you because you are of use to me. I will have to see good effect of your work before I give you the alphas,” Alpha Jax gave his verdict.
“It won’t work that way, but I can help in another manner. I can help you kill her,” Lady Fey suggested. Alpha Jax run at her with full speed. He grabbed her throat even before she noticed.
“You will not talk about killing Ava. You dare not,” he threatened Lady Fey. The realisation of what just happened hit him. He let her go immediately. She choked and coughed a bit.
“See?” Lady Cey whispered. Alpha Jax could feel rage cr her. He noticed her breathing, but she kept calming herself.
She stood there for few minutes without saying anything. Alpha Jax did not say anything too.
“Just don’t forget what you promised,” she remained Alpha Jax before opening a portal. It’s bigger than anyone Alpha Jax had ever seen. He looked at her as she walked into the portal and left him.
