Chapter 290: Jeff Reczek’s Wife

Book:The Warlord Is Back Published:2024-5-31

Rosey Chambers was a gentle and timid girl. To handle her, Robin had to be a bit fierce, so she would just do as he said.
“Don’t run around, do you hear me?” Robin said menacingly.
“Uh… uh…” Rosey Chambers looked pitiful, as if she were about to cry. It was enough to soften anyone’s heart.
However, Robin shook the bag in his hand and threatened her more fiercely, “If you run, this will be mine.”
“I… won’t run…” Rosey Chambers looked at the bag, her eyes filled with sorrow.
At this point, the thief who had tried to steal the money slowly rose from the ground, his face ghostly pale. He hadn’t seen how Robin had tripped him up.
But it didn’t matter. He could try to steal again.
“Kid, hand over the stuff. I’ve killed before,” the thief threatened, pulling out a small knife, his eyes red with anger as he shouted at Robin.
“If you’ve killed before, your hand wouldn’t be shaking like that,” Robin raised an eyebrow.
The thief’s hand that held the knife trembled. A killer’s hand wouldn’t shake. They’d have experience.
“You dare to look down on me!” The thief, provoked by Robin’s words, charged at Robin with the knife, but before he could stab him, his body stopped.
A man who looked like a humanoid beast lifted him by the collar as if he were a rag doll.
“Step aside,” he said.
Then, with a bang, the thief was thrown out the window by Jeff Reczek like a piece of trash, landing on his backside, looking bewildered in the crowd.
“This man is scary,” Rosey Chambers said, hiding behind Robin upon seeing Jeff Reczek.
Jeff Reczek saw Rosey Chambers’ reaction and scratched his head, looking frustrated. Although he seemed fierce, he was actually quite gentle. Leslie had said so. Fiona had also said the same.
“I’m fierce too,” Robin said.
Upon seeing this, a smile formed in Robin’s heart, and then he turned his head, his expression fierce again, as he looked at Rosey Chambers.
“He’s even fiercer.”
Rosey Chambers hesitated for a moment, but ultimately did not leave Robin’s side.
Although both were fierce, Robin appeared gentler. Jeff Reczek was usually not so bad, a fairly normal person, but once he started fighting, he became like a human-shaped behemoth about to be unleashed, terrifying people.
That was just his nature.
“Get off.”
Robin walked down.
However, as soon as he stepped down, a group of nearby law enforcement officers surrounded him immediately, with twenty or thirty of them, all looking fierce and carrying electric batons in their hands.
“What’s this?”
Robin glanced at these people, who were the law enforcement officers of this station.
Usually, they maintained order, but today, they surrounded him.
“So, it’s this guy.”
Then, Robin saw one of the men.
It was Eliott Garner, the thief.
“Hmph, kid, what goes around comes around,” said Eliott Garner, seeing that Robin had noticed him and stepping forward with a smug expression.
He then handed a pack of good cigarettes to the law enforcement captain, who wore a cap, and flattered him, “Cousin, it’s this guy who messed up my business on the train. Teach him a harsh lesson, and I’ll treat you to a big meal afterward.”
“Sure thing.”
The law enforcement captain looked at the cigarettes and smiled with the corner of his mouth.
The two were cousins, but their relationship was distant. However, Eliott Garner was quite understanding, giving him a pack of good cigarettes and promising a big meal, which made the captain quite happy.
After all, it was just teaching someone a lesson.
No big deal.
They had done this kind of thing before.
“Kid, I’m sorry, but you messed with my cousin, and today, you won’t leave here just ok. I have to give an explanation to my cousin,” said the law enforcement captain, and with a look, the others closed in.
“Ah… in this… situation… should I… run…”
Rosey Chambers said these words while staring straight at the cloth bag.
But Robin waved the cloth bag in his hand and said fiercely, “Don’t you dare leave. Stay with me.”
“Oh…”
Rosey Chambers took a frightened step back.
Then, she saw Jeff Reczek behind her.
Subsequently, she quietly moved closer to Robin again.
“What the-”
Jeff Reczek touched his head, the injustice written all over his face.
Was he just that scary-looking?
Children usually found him kind and approachable!
Why was it just so different with her?
“Stop crying and get to work. Later, I’ll find you a woman who likes your type,” Robin said with his hands behind his back.
“Work? You’ll both be lying in bed for months,” one of the law enforcement officers sneered, waving his electric baton.
With a menacing aura, he struck at Jeff Reczek.
With such a strike, charged with electricity, he would surely be bedridden for months.
However, before the sneer on the officer’s face could fade, a fist appeared in his abdomen, and he was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing into a pillar dozens of meters away.
“Now, you’ll be the one who will need to spend months in bed.”
Jeff Reczek dusted off his hands, having not held back against these guys who had used excessive force. He had broken quite a few bones, and after dealing with that officer, he turned to Robin: “Sir, I told you, I don’t want a woman. They’re troublesome and weak. Who knows, one day I might get angry and punch her to death. Is there any way I can skip the woman part and just have a daughter?”
He was extremely envious of Robin’s daughter.
He also wanted a daughter, an adorable little girl.
However, he didn’t like women. He didn’t want a wife.
Too much trouble.
As he spoke, Rosey Chambers took a few more steps back and hid behind Robin, her eyes even more fearful as she looked at Jeff Reczek, as if about to scream out.
“Sooner or later, I’ll find a woman to tame you,”
Robin shook his head.
The only criterion for finding a woman for Jeff Reczek was that she must be stronger than him.
This guy was a battle maniac. No one could subdue him except those he could not win. He wouldn’t submit to anyone, and he would challenge anyone who dared to go head-to-head with him. To be his woman, she must be able to defeat him in a fight.
“Hehe.”
Jeff Reczek rubbed his head and chuckled twice.
He didn’t argue, because his standard for finding a wife was strength-someone stronger than him. Otherwise, he was afraid that he might lose control and cause a problem for his future wife, which wouldn’t be good.
“Are you guys just chatting?”
The law enforcement captain stood aside, watching them chat, and was furious. “What do you take us for? You’re actually chatting! All of you, go together. Just now was just an accident. We have got so many people. They have only got two. It should not be a problem dealing with them!”
