Chapter 291: The Guy Who Made a Colonel a Guard

Book:The Warlord Is Back Published:2024-5-31

The law enforcement captain was very angry.
Because he had surrounded these three people with his team, yet they were still laughing and chatting within the encirclement, not taking him seriously at all. He had been here for so many years and had never seen such arrogant people.
It made him lose face completely.
He had to make these guys understand what it meant to be so reckless.
And then…
Three seconds later, the law enforcement captain was dumbfounded.
Eliott Garner was also dumbfounded.
Bystanders at the scene were dumbfounded too.
Because, in just three seconds, the twenty or so law enforcement officers, who looked fierce, were sprawled all over the ground, wailing in pain. Most people didn’t even know how these guys had been knocked down.
“Sir, I’ve dealt with these ones. Should I deal with those two as well?”
Jeff Reczek clapped his hands and pointed at the law enforcement captain and Eliott Garner.
“Ah!”
The two of them stepped back at the same time.
They were somewhat panicked.
What was going on? Weren’t they the ones who had surrounded these guys just now? How did the situation reverse in just a few seconds, as if this man’s subordinates had surrounded them instead?
“Cousin, let’s run.”
Eliott Garner was somewhat afraid.
The law enforcement captain wanted to run too, but when he turned his head and saw someone, he immediately patted Eliott Garner’s shoulder and excitedly said, “No need to run. The army is here.”
Eliott Garner also stopped and looked over to see a fully armed army approaching from the other side.
There were about a thousand soldiers.
Leading them was a non-commissioned officer.
“Captain Rowe.”
Seeing this officer, the law enforcement captain hurriedly greeted him.
“What’s going on?”
Jaime Rowe walked over with his troops. He was the officer in charge of guarding this train station. In this special period, special treatment was given. St. Sunday’s local troops saw that there were people from Eastern Kisia here, so they came over specifically.
“Sir, these guys assaulted people, and they even attacked law enforcement officers.”
Before the law enforcement captain could speak, Eliott Garner jumped out, stood beside Jaime Rowe, pointed at Robin, and then at the law enforcement officers lying on the ground.
“Sir, let me tell you, this person is very bad. On the train, he almost killed a little boy. If it weren’t for me, a doctoral student from St. Sunday Medical School, the boy might have died. I didn’t expect this guy to cause trouble here again.”
Eliott Garner was very eloquent, and after a while, Robin seemed like a big evildoer who had committed all sorts of crimes.
It was as if he had done all the bad things possible.
“You?”
Jaime Rowe was not a fool and didn’t entirely believe Eliott Garner’s words. He turned his gaze to Robin: “Explain yourself. If you can’t explain, you’ll have to come with us. After all, you are the ones who are beating people now.”
Upon hearing this, the law enforcement officers lying on the ground began to wail.
“Ouch, it hurts so much. This thug wanted to break the law and order here. I tried to stop him, but I was beaten up. It really hurts, it really hurts.”
“Yeah, this guy is a thug.”
“I can’t believe it, I’m going to suffocate.”
One of them even acted as if he was about to suffocate, looking very convincing.
However, the next second, Jeff Reczek grabbed the man’s neck, lifting him off the ground forcefully, and used a bit more strength, causing the man to suffocate completely, his face turning red and eyes bulging.
But, Jeff Reczek only whispered in his ear: “Like this?”
The man struggled desperately, but he couldn’t break free from Jeff Reczek.
“Stop.”
Jaime Rowe, seeing this scene, immediately shouted in reprimand. But when he saw that Jeff Reczek didn’t move, his face darkened, and he waved his hand. A troop of a thousand soldiers surrounded Robin and the others.
“Good lad!”
Eliott Garner, watching from the side, had an excited look on his face, as if he was about to jump up and clap.
This was great.
He had thought that Jaime Rowe wouldn’t deal with these people, but he didn’t expect that these guys would be so ignorant and not only disrespect him but also not take Jaime Rowe seriously.
These guys were as good as dead.
“I asked you to let go.”
Jaime Rowe’s face darkened, and he scolded.
“Let go? Rookie, you have no right to order me.”
Jeff Reczek threw something out.
It hit Jaime Rowe’s hand, causing him to look down, and his face changed drastically because it was an officer’s badge with the name Henry Jenkins and the rank of Colonel written on it.
It was many levels higher than his own rank.
“Sir!”
With a thud, Jaime Rowe immediately saluted Jeff Reczek, and then he looked at the surrounding soldiers. Those soldiers immediately understood his meaning and also saluted: “Sir.”
Robin smiled at the sight.
That badge was fake. Jeff Reczek had two badges; one represented his identity as Jeff Reczek, one of the top ten generals in Eastern Kisia. As the number one warrior in the army, he was naturally a general.
However, when he was acting as a security guard, he had another badge.
Henry Jenkins was a name Jeff Reczek had given himself, with the rank of Colonel. It served a purpose, and it wasn’t as shocking as being a general.
After all, not many people in the country could have the honor of being a security guard as a general.
Every general had fought their way through a sea of blood.
To let them serve as security guards was an insult to them.
Jeff Reczek had followed Robin for many years. He used to be Robin’s security guard, and after becoming a general, he still followed Robin. He liked fighting, and only Robin could tame him completely.
“Retreat.”
Jeff Reczek also issued an order.
Immediately, the thousand-soldier army retreated. Jaime Rowe didn’t dare to say a word and led his men to withdraw directly. However, there was a trace of fear in his eyes, because he saw the rank on that badge.
A Colonel as a security guard!
My goodness.
He couldn’t imagine it.
At that moment, he knew that Robin, who was standing nearby with a faint smile, must have had a terrifying identity. But due to some rules, he didn’t dare to ask rashly and had to obey orders.
However, the waves of shock in his heart continued.
“Sir, please allow me to go with you.”
Eliott Garner saw that the troops had withdrawn and was immediately dumbfounded. Afterward, he was scared and his face changed drastically. When the soldiers left, the next person Robin would deal with was him.
So, he hurriedly followed, hoping to slip through unnoticed.
However, with a thud, the troops stopped. Jaime Rowe turned around and looked at him with a hint of fierceness: “I almost forgot about you. You lied to us and even fought at the train station. Arrest him.”
He had almost forgotten.
This guy was the root cause of all the problems.
He almost offended someone mysterious who had a high enough rank to serve as a security guard.
