Chapter 195 The Robin-Sophia Group’s Support

“How about you?” Isadora glanced at others. Unlike Constance, her eyes were more gentle and dewy, almost drowning the men looking at her. Her wink had already aroused Oscar.
On the contrary, Constance’s eyes were longer and slightly rose in the corner, making her look more elegant. That was why men longed to conquer her the most.
The Brighton family developed well because of those two women. Countless men from wealthy and influential families had been swept off their feet by them. Once, two men sent their forces to fight against each other just because of them. Many died.
However, the two women didn’t take it seriously and found new dates. It was said a woman’s heart could be the most toxic, and it was true for Constance and Isadora.
“I’ll also quit. Landview will go bankrupt soon. Let me go!” A mid-aged man hopped up and tore off his badge suddenly. “Pak!” He tossed it to the ground and stomped on it.
“Me too. Three times my current salary. Far better than Landview.”
“I love money. I’ll quit, too.”
“Landview is nothing compared to the Brighton Group. You’ve overestimated yourself. Landview will definitely be defeated.”
After a few men took the initiative, most senior executives removed their badges and quit Landview. Not to mention Landview would go bankrupt, and the Brighton Group was the most significant enterprise in Stillwater. They all believed they could have a bright future after joining it. They were not fools, so they quit Landview without hesitation.
In a few seconds, piles of badges were tossed to the ground and stomped on.
A considerable group stood behind Isadora. Some quit and didn’t mean to stomp on their badges. However, to impress Isadora, they followed others to do so.
“Is that all?” Elise gazed at them icily.
Isadora glanced at the group behind her with a triumphant smile. Then she looked at the rest five to six employees and asked, “What about you? Three times your wages.”
“No. We like Landview.” A few girls shook their heads.
They liked the working atmosphere in Landview. Besides, they disliked Isadora. By instinct, girls were against such a seductive temptress.
“How about you, guys? Don’t you want to join our Brighton Group for a better future? Probably you can have other encounters,” Isadora said in a seductive tone, her words full of implication, which excited all the men behind her.
There were still three men behind Elise. One young man stood out and refused, “I’m a fresh graduate. Ms. Houry saw my potential and promoted me. I’ll never betray my benefactor.”
“I like my job in Landview. I don’t want to quit.”
“I’m a senior employee from Lands Corporation. I used to work for Ms. Houry years ago. After she quit Lands Corporation, I was mistreated as they all thought I was only loyal to her. Well, frankly, I am indeed loyal to Ms. Houry only.”
The rest two men also stated their opinions.
“Good.” Elise looked at the small group delightfully. At least some of her employees were kind-hearted and grateful.
“Humph! You even rejected three times your wages. What’s so good about being grateful and loyal?” Isadora sneered ironically. Looking at Elise with a triumphant smile, she mocked, “Ms. Elise Houry, you are well-known in Stillwater. However, you have only a few employees left. Your clients have been banned. No one will help you. Your company will surely be bankrupted.”
“You failed eventually. Mr. X can’t win against us.” She yanked up her head, laughing loudly.
Before she left, a woman’s voice sounded at the meeting room’s door. “Isadora Brighton, right? Why don’t we have a bet? If Landview doesn’t go bankrupt, you will circle the city naked. Do you dare?”
“Who is there?”
Everyone looked at the door.
A woman in a black dress with a proud look entered. Gazing at Isadora murderously, she said in a hostile tone, “Let me introduce myself. I’m Miranda Levis, the PR department director of the Robin-Sophia Group.”
Her words made others’ jaw slack.
‘The Robin-Sophia Group!’ They realized it was also an influential enterprise rooted in Stillwater, wondering if that was Elise’s trump card.
Many people secretly studied Elise’s expression.
“Miranda Levis? I heard of you. You are the director of the Robin-Sophia Group’s PR department. Good-looking and competent. You are Ms. Houry’s bestie. I admit the Robin-Sophia Group is a big potato. But you cannot represent it personally.”
Isadora looked into Miranda’s eyes without panicking, as she had already predicted this scene.
Miranda was Elise’s bestie, so Miranda must support Landview. However, Miranda was only the PR department director instead of its chairman or the president.
“The Robin-Sophia Group is influential. After all, it came from the capital. It has just settled in Stillwater. I don’t think the company president is such a fool to be against the Brighton family. Or the group will easily decline. Ms. Levis, you cannot represent the Robin-Sophia Group.”
Isadora was confident. The Brighton family was the top family in Stillwater. The Robin-Sophia Group had just settled in the city. Even though it was an enterprise from the capital, it wouldn’t fight against the Bright Group before becoming influential locally. Otherwise, the Robin-Sophia Group would also suffer some losses.
Besides, the Robin-Sophia Group also worked with the Brighton Group on many projects. Landview was just a small group. Isadora didn’t think it would be willing to give up on the Brighton Group’s cooperation just for Landview as long as the company chairman wasn’t a simpleton and knew how to balance the pros and cons. Therefore, Isadora was sure.
“Ms. Levis can’t represent the Robin-Sophia Group. How about me?” a man’s loud voice sounded.
Looking out, everyone saw a mid-aged man entering the meeting room and was taken aback. They all recognized him. It was Jim, the president of the Robin-Sophia Group.
“Why are you here, Mr. Jordan?”
Isadora was startled as she didn’t expect to see the president of the Robin-Sophia Group. The next second, pulling a long face, she said, “Jim, you are just the company’s CEO. How dare you fight against the Brighton family. I don’t think you are qualified to make any decision.” She didn’t think Jim had many shares as a company president.
However, another voice sounded outside, “What about me?’
“Jeff Reczek, the Robin-Sophia Group’s chairman of the board!” People’s mouths dropped open.
Isadora was one of them. Seeing the man with a decisive look, she was baffled.
