Chapter 194 Constance’s Niece Came to Landview.

Suddenly, a woman entered Landview Inc. She was good-looking, wearing a tight black suit to fully show her curved figure. Although the woman looked like Constance, she was much younger and childish.
“Bang!”
She broke into the meeting room. After glancing at everyone, she darted at Elise.
“Who are you? How dare you interrupt our meeting!”
As the president’s assistant, Priya knew everyone in the company. However, she didn’t know this woman. She immediately called, “Security? Where are the receptionists? How could you have come here?”
“You don’t need to call them. I told them I was invited by your president. Let me introduce myself. I’m Isadora Brighton, Constance Brighton’s niece,” Isadora Brighton replied.
Her identity shocked everyone in the meeting room. They didn’t expect someone from the Brighton family to suddenly break into their meeting room on purpose. Evidently, Isadora came to provoke them. How arrogant!
“Ms. Houry, I represent the Brighton family. I don’t think you’ll kick me out.” Isadora seemed to be home. She drifted around and sat in a chair with her legs crossed, her toes pointing at Elise as if she was the owner of Landview instead.
Elise could tell she had evil intentions. “Ms. Brighton, why are you here?” she asked while holding her arms on her chest, staring harshly at Isadora. Her foe had entered her territory, so Elise didn’t want to be polite to her.
“Ms. Houry, be nice. I brought good news for Landview Inc. It’s super excellent for your company.” Isadora covered her lips while giggling. Then she looked at the senior executives in the room and said, “Well, from now on, in an hour, if you quit Landview Inc., you’ll become our Brighton Group’s employees. I’ll triple your salary. You can choose any position you want, including the company president or an entry-level job.”
Her tone wasn’t harsh, but her provocative words made others’ expressions change. Priya looked extremely sullen as she knew how serious this matter would be. Isadora said she would triple their salaries, which would be a considerable amount of money.
All employees worked for money, and Isadora offered them way too generously. The attractive condition could let all employees in Landview quit and join the Brighton Group.
Also, Isadora only gave them an hour. Within the hour, Landview Inc. would become an empty shell without manpower. Not to mention the economic or business battle. This single move could ruin Landview completely and bankrupt.
“I’ll be waiting here within the following hour. Please think twice.”
Sitting in the chair, Isadora looked the senior executives up and down. Her character also followed her aunt, so she was also looking for some fun as a playgirl.
“By the way, the first one quitting Landview will have the chance for a candlelight dinner with me tonight.” Isadora had a crush on a man, making goo-goo eyes at him, looking seductive.
The man was sturdy as he often worked out. Receiving her wink, he was aroused and immediately jumped to his feet. Looking at Elise, he bowed, “I’m sorry, Ms. Houry. Landview is going bankrupt now. Stillwater is the Brighton family’s territory. I don’t think Mr. X can win against them.”
In fact, he had the thought the previous time but dared not to speak so bluntly. He was smart and knew Mr. X was Landview’s backer. However, he believed it was utterly different this time because the Brighton and the Conwyn families united and started the war.
Those two families had rooted and developed in Stillwater for decades, having tremendous influence. With a single word, they could cut off all Landview’s cooperation.
No cooperation meant no profits. No matter how much Mr. X invested in the company wouldn’t work. Besides, Mr. X wasn’t a fool. No one would believe he was still willing to invest in a company that made no profits.
Therefore, that man was confident when saying so. Moreover, Isadora winked at him. He had already drooled at her appearance and figure. Her single glance had made his blood boil in his veins, not to mention Isadora was Constance’s niece.
Therefore, the man thought he had a brighter future after working for Isadora.
“Oscar McLeod, don’t forget you’ve signed a labor contract with my company.” Elise gazed at him as she personally promoted him from an entry-level position.
Oscar looked at Isadora for help.
“It’s alright. Stay home. According to your labor contract, you cannot enter the competitor’s company three months after quitting. I’ll sign the labor contract with you today and give you a three-month paid vacation. After it ends, you can go to work at my company,” Isadora raised her tender, slender hand and said, as enchantingly as her aunt.
She had studied Landview’s labor contract. Constance deliberately sent her to make trouble for Landview. Besides, the Brighton Group was wealthy, so they could afford the three-month salaries for future employees. They only wished to destroy Landview.
Although Mr. X was protective of Landview, once the company went bankrupt, the Brighton family would give him a slap in the face.
Elise also knew what they aimed for. Looking at Oscar, the first one quitting her company, she snapped, “Oscar McLeod. I personally promoted you when you were working in an entry-level position. Have I ever mistreated you?”
“Never.” Oscar shook his head and said, “Honestly speaking, I appreciate you very much, Ms. Houry. I would have still been an unknown employee if it weren’t for you. However, the wage of avarice is death. I always wish to become better. Landview’s clients have been banned, and your company has been isolated in Stillwater. It’s going bankrupt sooner or later. Even Mr. X cannot do anything to save it. Although he was fierce and powerful, he couldn’t win against them.”
Oscar sounded reasonable, but he implied to others that Landview would be destined to be bankrupt, and Mr. X couldn’t do anything to save it. He had already taken the Brighton family’s side.
“You are indeed a loyal dog,” Priya remarked in hostility while frowning, realizing what he implied. She stared daggers at him.
“A dog? Humph! A wise man submits to fate,” Oscar sneered. Then he strode towards Isadora, bowing at her. “Dear Ms. Brighton, I belong to you now.”
“I’ll dote on you tonight.” Isadora stroked his cheek, lust filling her eyes.
She couldn’t remember how many dates she had already. However, men meant nothing to them, as Constance once told her men were only supposed to use. They were worthless except for that.
