“Bang!”
Many important members of the Conwyn family suddenly rushed into the yard. In the lead was Bradley with a fierce look.
“How bold you are, you bastard! How dare you break into our Conwyn’s house! Think it’s a place you can enter and leave freely, huh?” an elder of the Conwyn family strode towards Robin and snapped.
However, a broadsword cut through his chest the next second, and he couldn’t utter a word. A Wolfman Guard behind him gradually pulled the broadsword back and remarked, “You can never insult Mr. X.”
Then he returned to stand behind Robin while holding the broadsword dripping blood.
“Go on.” Robin raised his head to dart at the Conwyns.
All of them were gaping at him and couldn’t believe he had killed one in their presence. Mr. X’s glance made their hair stand on end.
“Why did you come to our house today, X?” Bradley stood out and asked with a frown.
Mr. X didn’t kill him on the night of that mission but suddenly broke into his house today. Bradley wondered why. According to Mr. X’s words, he would torture the Conwyn family with the fear of death and watch them struggle.
“Looking for this man.”
Robin lifted Preston’s arm and looked back at the Conwyns. “Why? Any objections?”
The Conwyns kept silent. Mr. X broke into their house, killed all their security guards and an elder, and wanted to do something to Bradley’s oldest son. However, he asked them if they had any objections. Mr. X must have thought they were all pushovers. All the Conwyns boiled up with anger.
Instantly, they stared at Bradley. Known as the Tiger of Stillwater, Bradley should have ways to deal with Mr. X as he had killed many people before making the family firm and influential.
The Conwyn family members were confident in Bradley and thought he would kill Mr. X.
Bradley asked while frowning, “What has he done to provoke you?” His tone was peaceful. He didn’t roar or sound furious.
“I detest him,” Robin answered indifferently.
His answer shocked the Conwyns again, as his reason was way too perfunctory. They could tell Mr. X deliberately make trouble for the Conwyn family by using Preston as an excuse, thinking it was too lame.
However, Robin didn’t lie. He truly detested Preston.
Preston was also baffled and couldn’t believe the reason, wondering if it was because he was too ugly, so Robin detested him.
“Your reason is too perfunctory,” Bradley remarked.
“So what?” Robin stood with his hands behind his back. His reply rendered the Conwyn tongue-tied again.
Bradley wanted to fight back as fiercely as usual. Whenever he tried to blow up, he thought about the murderous vibe from the man in a black that night and was scared by Mr. X’s horrible temperament.
“I…” Bradley wanted to say something.
“Ehn?” Robin gazed at him.
Immediately, Bradley flinched subconsciously. When he realized it, his expression changed dramatically. He couldn’t believe he was scared by Mr. X. Usually, he was the only one who frightened others as he was the Tiger of Stillwater.
“Mr. Conwyn?” All the Conwyns watched the scene in a daze and couldn’t believe Bradley flinched in fear. They panicked.
“Ehn?” Robin darted at Bradley intensely. His gaze sent a chill down Bradley’s spine.
Feeling stressed, Bradley gritted his teeth and uttered, “Please… Do whatever you want, Mr. X.” He thought he would die soon if he objected.
In an instant, the pressure was gone. Bradley collapsed to the ground. Cold sweat oozed from his forehead, making his fierce face as hilarious as a clown’s.
“Master… Master Bradley?” The Conwyns were shocked, their jaws slacking.
Bradley was a ruthless man, and the five most influential families could never have the guts to be against him. However, he was scared by Mr. X.
“All right.” Robin withdrew his gaze and drifted back to Preston. Looking down at him, Robin said, “Call your girlfriend over.”
“What?” Preston gaped at him, wondering why Mr. X wanted to see his girlfriend. Thinking Mr. X probably had a crush on his girlfriend, Preston was excited. He had thought Mr. X would kill him earlier.
Immediately, Preston pulled out his phone and called his girlfriend, “Hello, Sylvia. Come to my house. Good news for you. Come here. I’ll pay for your taxi fare.”
“What? OK.” Sylvia Decker, Preston’s girlfriend, was taken aback. However, Preston told her it was good news, so she joyfully left home.
Soon, Sylvia arrived at Conwyn’s Residence. Once she entered the yard, she yelled, “Preston, have you caught that bastard? I must teach him a good lesson.” A vicious look appeared on her face.
She was the girlfriend of the Conwyn family’s oldest son, but the man at Brotry Lagoon had the guts to provoke her and run away. He should have obediently jumped into the lake.
Sylvia knew how competent the Conwyn family was, but she had never expected to marry Preston. Therefore, when Preston told her it was good news, she thought about this matter naturally.
Much to her surprise, she stiffened after entering the yard. She saw many dead bodies and men rolling on the ground in pain. Preston was kneeling on the floor, staring at her tearfully, looking touched.
“What… What’s going on, Preston?” Sylvia was baffled while watching the scene.
“This is Mr. X, Sylvia. He has a crush on you, so he broke into our house to find you. Sylvia, we broke up now. I won’t have any objection no matter what happens between you and Mr. X,” Preston hurriedly answered.
“Mr. X?” Only then did Sylvia notice a man standing with his hands behind his back. He was in a black coat, looking cold and dark with an excellent temperament. The mask on his face made him mysterious.
Sylvia also heard Mr. X had appeared from nowhere with a powerful background, thinking he must be perfect.
“Mr. X, do you like me?” Sylvia blushed in shyness. If Mr. X liked her, she would forget about Preston. How could Preston be comparable to Mr. X? Immediately, she straightened her dress up to show her perfect figure.
Mr. X broke into the Conwyn family’s house for her. The thought made her excited and shy.
