“Mr. X, you don’t need to do this. I’m quite understanding,” said Sylvia, standing upright to show her bosom. With a shy look, she held the hemline of her dress while approaching Robin.
“I also have a crush on you, Mr. X. We can have a great night tonight,” said she, reaching out to stroke Mr. X’s coat.
The next second, a cold light sparkled. Sylvia froze and lowered her head, only to find a broadsword pressed against her neck. She almost saw Death.
“You can’t touch Mr. X,” a Wolfman Guard’s voice sounded.
“What… Isn’t… Isn’t he…” Preston was joyful and thought he would be saved earlier. However, he looked confused again, wondering what had happened. It seemed Mr. X asked him to call Sylvia over, not because he liked her.
Sylvia was a college campus belle. She was good-looking with a curved body. Otherwise, Preston wouldn’t have made her his girlfriend.
The scene didn’t go as he had expected.
Sylvia was also stiffened.
Robin looked at a pool in the yard. Conwyn’s Residence was well-designed. There was a large pool with a fountain in the yard.
“The pool is pretty nice, isn’t it?” Robin looked back at Sylvia.
“Yes… It is…” Sylvia nodded hard, looking puzzled.
Robin said, “Jump in.”
“What? Jump… Jump in?” Sylvia was tongue-tied. Preston told her Mr. X broke into the house to find her because he liked her, and she was overjoyed just now. However, it didn’t seem so. He even asked her to jump into the pool.
Sylvia wondered what was wrong.
“Jump in!” a Wolfman Guard repeated, pressing the broadsword against Sylvia’s neck.
Feeling the piercing pain, she flicked her hands immediately and said, “I will… I’ll jump…” She almost burst into tears.
“Plop!” Sylvia jumped into the pool.
The water was cold and deep. She couldn’t swim. The next second, she rolled in the water and struggled, almost drowning.
“Help! Help!” Sylvia cried for help, reaching her arms high.
Unfortunately, no one dared to do anything without Mr. X’s permission.
“Argh… Boohoo…” Sylvia burst into tears. She wondered what she had done to provoke Mr. X, who deliberately called her over to jump into the pool.
She couldn’t swim for real. While struggling, she rolled in the water and drank a lot.
No one helped her. Despair appeared in her eyes. After she was burned out, she sank into the pool. Bubbles floated out of her nose.
The Conwyns thought Mr. X was indeed heartless, feeling shocked.
Suddenly, Robin looked at Bradley. “Save her.”
Although the woman was vicious, she didn’t deserve to die.
Robin had killed many people, but those all deserved to die. He had never wronged the good.
“What?” Bradley was taken aback. He was the master of the Conwyn family, the Tiger of Stillwater. Mr. X suppressed him and even wanted to order him.
Bradley wanted to refuse, thinking he wasn’t spineless.
However, a Wolfman Guard pulled out his broadsword the next second while striding towards him. “Mr. X asked you to save her. You are just the Conwyn family’s master. How dare you disobey Mr. X!”
The temperature on the scene seemed to drop abruptly.
“You have two options. Save her. Or your family will go to the dogs earlier than planned,” Robin added.
He sounded too arrogant, but his words suffocated the Conwyns. They could tell Mr. X had the confidence to do what he said. Like what was happening on the scene, he had only brought 12 men but suppressed the whole Conwyn family.
“Mr. Conwyn, please save her. She’ll be dead soon. You can’t just stand and watch.”
“Exactly! Mr. Conwyn, whosoever saves a single life saves an entire universe. Hurry!”
“Mr. Conwyn, please. Hurry! Save her!”
The Conwyns were frightened by Robin, especially after hearing he would make them go to the dogs earlier than planned. The Meyer, the Holland, and the Winfield families were destroyed by Robin easily.
All the grown-up men in the Meyer family who had committed crimes were dead.
The Conwyns were also evil. Therefore, they gazed at Bradley with an entreating look, prompting him.
Bradley frowned, looking at his family members. No one had believed “whosoever saves a single life saves an entire universe” before. After he became the family master, every Conwyn enjoyed killing and bullying. Most of the time, they never cared about life. He knew his family members were scared by Mr. X.
“If a person is drowned, he or she will die in two minutes. Earlier, she struggled for more than 60 seconds. You still have 10 seconds to save her life. If she dies, it’s your Conwyn family’s responsibility. You’ll all die,” Robin said.
“Mr. Conwyn!” All the Conwyns on the scene watched Bradley and urged, “Please, save her for our family’s survival.”
’10 seconds?’ Bradley could feel the murderous vibe in the air. He knew Mr. X wasn’t kidding. His family members repeatedly prompted him. Bradley felt upset.
However, he had to stride to the pool and jump in. After a while, he managed to pull Sylvia out of the pool. Collapsing on the ground, he looked like a drowning rat, and his branded clothes were ruined.
A Wolfman Guard checked on Sylvia and reported, “She’s still alive, Mr. X.”
“All right. Your Conwyn family can survive today.” Robin cast a meaningful glance at Bradley.
The latter had mixed feelings. He was the Tiger of Stillwater, and everyone used to fear him. However, Mr. X frightened him and asked him to save a woman from the pool. With the miserable look, Bradley had lost all his dignity.
Moreover, it happened in Conwyn’s Residence, his territory.
“How… How could it be possible?” Preston gaped at his father in disbelief. In his impression, Bradley had never been so miserable. Instead, Bradley was always the sign of horror, and even Preston feared him.
Once, a small family annoyed Bradley. It was destroyed the next day. Bradley was always overbearing and arrogant.
However, he looked hilarious. Instead of a tiger, he was more like a defeated, weak cat.
Preston felt lucky as he was too unimportant for Mr. X to deal with. He guessed Mr. X must have come to the house to teach his father a lesson.
Suddenly, Mr. X turned around to gaze at him, sending a chill down his spine.
“It’s your turn now,” Mr. X uttered.
