“Teach us a lesson? Who do you think you are to do so?”
Robin put his hands at his back, narrowing his deadly gaze at the lobby manager.
“Humph! Who do I think I am? Good question. You are in our territory. I have the final say. I can do anything for you. You must obey it,” the lobby manager chuckled.
Then he flicked his hands to let the security guards surround Robin.
“Do you know where you are? This is Cielo Restaurant. The restaurant owner has a mysterious background. You can never afford to offend him,” Elliot mocked, covering his mouth.
Elise’s husband had the guts to hit him, so he must end his life. Even if Elliott didn’t do anything, he believed the restaurant owner would teach Robin a lesson.
The more Elliott thought, the more excited he became.
“You… He insulted us first,” Elise argued, feeling agitated.
“I don’t care. You’ve broken our restaurant’s rules. You must be punished. Guys, hit them. This brat deserves to lie in the hospital for several months.”
The lobby manager didn’t care. After all, he had been bribed, so he insisted it was all Robin’s fault.
He wasn’t afraid of anything because of their background.
“You bastards!”
Before Elise was about to blow up, Robin propped a hand on her shoulder. “Calm down, Elise. Leave this matter to your husband.”
Elise looked back at him. In their family, she was always the one handling everything. No one had ever told her such words before. She was startled.
The next second, she smiled gently at Robin. “OK.”
She wasn’t a stubborn or arrogant woman, so she knew how to keep her husband’s dignity. Besides, she had confidence in Robin and believed he could handle this matter well.
However, she didn’t know why.
“You are overconfident, brat. Aren’t you afraid your lie will be exposed? I’m afraid you’ll suffer soon. Humph!”
The lobby manager looked as if he had won against Robin.
In fact, he couldn’t help touching the golden watch inside his pocket. Earlier, he checked it and ensured it was an authentic luxurious watch that could be worth 20, 000 dollars. Therefore, he was excited to make extra money.
Robin glanced at the security guards and could tell they were unprofessional fighters. Before he was about to kick them away, a man’s voice sounded at the door. “Stop it!”
Everyone looked in that direction and saw a man.
“Who the fuck are you? The brat is almost hit, but you stop the security guards. Shit!”
Elliott glared at the man unhappily. Robin was about to be beaten up, but suddenly, a man showed up and stopped them.
Elliott felt reluctant.
Before he rushed to teach the man a lesson, he was startled. The lobby manager had scooted to that man and bowed at him. “Good evening, Mr. House.”
Then he introduced the man as the restaurant owner.
Others looked over. The restaurant owner looked in his twenties. Others couldn’t believe the person who had a solid background to be so young.
“You are so doomed. The restaurant owner came out.”
Elliott became more excited. He knew the restaurant owner wasn’t simple. Since he showed up, Elise and her husband would definitely be dead.
Elliott couldn’t help laughing triumphantly.
“Mr. House, this guy hit another patron out of no reason. After that, he insulted our restaurant and said our business was illegal. He also slandered you to be indecent. He’s gone too far…” the lobby manager slandered Robin while pointing at him.
He wished the restaurant owner would be annoyed by Robin.
The lobby manager knew his boss’ background. As long as his boss took a move, Robin would be doomed. Then the lobby manager could keep his gold watch.
It was indeed easy money.
While he kept slandering Robin, the young man walked towards Robin. Instantly, the lobby manager said in surprise, “My boss is mad. He’ll teach that brat a lesson personally.”
He almost burst into laughter.
However, the next second, he gaped and widened his eyes. Pointing at the scene, he stammered, “How… How could this… be possible? Impossible!”
“What the heck?”
Elliott also widened his eyes.
“Is this an illusion?”
Other onlookers were also shocked. Some widened their mouths.
They saw the restaurant owner bow at Robin.
“Long time no see, Mr. Bailey.”
His tone was faithful, which amazed the onlookers.
None has expected the owner of Cielo Restaurant to bow at a live-in son-in-law of the Houry family.
It was inconceivable.
They wouldn’t believe the scene if they didn’t witness it personally. However, they gaped at the scene and had to accept the fact.
“Long time no see, Frank.”
Robin looked at the restaurant owner.
He recognized the young man to be Doug’s driver last time. Frank also bet 20, 000 dollars on him at the car race last time. It was said he had won two million dollars.
Robin didn’t expect to reencounter him here, and he had become the restaurant owner.
“Mr. Bailey, I always remember your favor. How have you been?”
Frank stared up at Robin in respect, fear, and worship.
He was a professional car racer, so he always dreamed of winning different contests. Therefore, he admired all skilled drivers. Besides, he was also confident in his own driving skills.
However, after watching Robin’s race, he worshiped Robin greatly.
In his opinion, Robin deserved to become the Deity of Mount Kory. Since that race, Robin driving a Honda to win a race became a legend at the underground race track.
Frank could afford to open such a restaurant because of Robin. He won two million dollars that day. However, he was afraid of poverty, so he decided to save the money and spend it slowly.
However, Timothy went to him and asked, “Do you know Mr. Robin Bailey?”
“Yes, I do,” Frank answered.
Although he had met Robin once until then, he didn’t lie.
His answer made him extremely lucky. Timothy helped him register this restaurant and invested in it. He also announced to the public that he was Frank’s backer.
Timothy was the oldest son of the Buosont family and was the so-called mysterious backer for Frank.
Since then, Frank didn’t have any difficulties running his restaurant, which gradually became well-developed. However, he always remembered his changes were all because of Robin.
Besides, he realized Timothy had helped him because he said he knew Robin. Therefore, Frank could tell how vital Robin’s background was.
Therefore, he respected and feared Robin and believed he couldn’t afford to provoke him.
