His words stunned others, including the security guards.
They gaped at the scene in disbelief. All of them knew what it meant if Robin was the owner of No. 001.
It was the villa with the best location and the most famous villa of Eleanor Manor.
It had just been sold in the auction.
The villa’s owner had the highest privilege in Eleanor and could freely fire the security guards. The owner must be influential.
“Jesus Christ!”
The two security guards at the gate collapsed to the ground in fear.
They had made an enormous mistake, offended the owner of No. 001, and cursed him.
If Robin wanted to do anything to them, they would definitely drop off the surface of the Earth.
However, Robin only took back his card and asked, “May I leave now?”
“Of course, Sir.”
The property manager nodded.
Robin left with Leslie.
The two security guards breathed sighs of relief. They appreciated Robin for being generous and not revenging.
However, the property manager strode to them angrily. “You are so fired. Don’t ever think of working as security guards again.”
Earlier, he received news from the headquarters that a mysterious wealthy man had spent 14 million dollars on buying No. 001.
Let alone the two security guards. No one in Eleanor Manor could afford to offend that man.
“We’re so dead…” The two security guards paled.
Meanwhile, Robin reminded Leslie, “Sweetie, remember my words. You can ignore some unimportant people sometimes, as long as you’ve been righteous.”
“OK.”
Robin took Leslie into Eleanor Manor. The decorations and gardens were indeed gorgeous.
They headed for the east and heard the seagulls shortly after.
“Dad, look! The sea!”
Leslie trotted to the sandy beach excitedly.
“Slow down, dear.”
Robin looked at her with a doting smile.
He followed Leslie. After going through a small bus, they saw the blue ocean. It was particularly built by Eleanor Manor. The beach was clean, and so was the seawater.
Stillwater was located at an estuary. However, Eleanor Manor was the only place where the sea could be seen. That was why Eleanor Manor’s houses were so costly.
If others wanted to see the ocean, they needed to go to another city.
Leslie had never been to another state so far.
“Whoa! So many seagulls!”
Leslie ran to the seagulls and scared them away. White feathers floated in the air.
“Why did they all fly away, Dad?”
Leslie pouted, feeling upset.
“You must be gentle.”
Holding her hand, Robin took her to buy some bird feed. Then he said, “Leslie, you need to give them some treats.”
“Some treat? Come here, seagulls. I have food for you. Let’s play together.”
Holding the feed, Leslie gently approached the seagulls.
Soon, a group of seagulls flew over. Leslie rubbed each other and had a great time.
Suddenly, a harsh voice sounded nearby. “Why are you here?”
Robin tilted his head and saw the arrogant woman the previous day. Her son was Leslie’s classmate.
“Why are you here? You are not supposed to be here.”
The boy also rushed over and scared the seagulls away.
“Dad…”
Leslie hid behind Robin.
“What do you mean?”
Robin scowled at the woman in anger.
“What do I mean? Don’t you know a poor man like you isn’t supposed to be in Eleanor Manor? I don’t know how you managed to break in. Get out of here. Now!”
Lena looked at Robin in disdain.
Her family was wealthy and finally moved into a house in Eleanor Manor. Robin was a poor man wearing the cheapest casual clothes. She didn’t want to see him. In her opinion, Robin only deserved to stay in the slums.
“I want you to get out of here!” Robin glared at her.
“You wish! Do you know who you are talking to? My husband is the Nicholson Group’s chairman of the board. I’m Lena Gibson.”
Lena added proudly, “My husband has bought the most expensive villa here. For a poor guy like you can never imagine owning such a place.”
Then she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. “Hello, is that the security guard leader? What’s wrong with you guys? How can a stray dog break into the manor? Don’t you know…”
She cursed.
After all, once her husband had bought the most expensive villa, they would have the right to fire the security guards.
Three minutes later, the security guard leader arrived with a group of his subordinates. Earlier, he was frightened by Robin. After Lena cursed him, he was angry.
He waved a baron.
“Let me see who the heck…”
Before he finished speaking, he broke off as he saw Robin standing next to him. He still remembered Robin was the owner of No. 001.
“You are so slow. Believe it or not? If my husband returns, you’ll be fired,” Lena snapped arrogantly.
“Ms. Gibson, what’s the matter?” the security guard leader repressed his anger and asked.
“What else will the matter be? This guy doesn’t stay here. He broke into the manor. He must have evil intentions. Kick him out!”
Lena flicked her hand to hint at him.
The security guard leader was wordless.
If he did as Lena said, he would definitely lose his job.
“I don’t want them to be here,” said Robin, staring at the security guard leader.
“Ah…”
The security guard leader was in a dilemma.
Suddenly, Robin pulled out his phone and dialed a number. Shortly after, the security guard leader received a call.
“Tom Brown, kick out Elliott Nicholson and his family. Now!”
“What? Why? I’m afraid they’ll be offended…”
“Our Eleanor Manor cannot afford to offend the owner of No. 001.”
The security guard leader quieted down. According to his knowledge, Eleanor Manor had a strong background. However, they even dared not to offend Robin.
He realized Robin must be someone super important, having a lingering fear.
He almost annoyed Robin.
“What are you doing? I asked you to kick him out. He doesn’t deserve to be here,” Lena repeatedly requested.
However, the security guard leader answered, “Ms. Gibson, according to the order I received, please move out of Eleanor Manor immediately. Or we’ll use force.”
