Davis POV
I whistled while walking around the small house idly, I just gave to wait for their favorable response. I grinned gently to myself.
and walked over to her, placed it on her mouth as she longed for the water visibly. I rushed the water into her mouth making her choke, she wanted to stop drinking but I was not going to allow that.
I held her head tightly in place and forced the water into her mouth.
“You cannot refuse my kindness.” I said to her and finally took back the bottle and let go of her petite head.
“There, you drank the whole bottle. You really do drink water a lot, don’t you?” I asked her with a small smirk as she coughed terribly due to the water that had choked her.
“Cough a bit more and you would be okay Cassie.” I said to her and took my seat opposite her once more.
“So…. What? You want to tell me a story?” I asked her with a sadistic smile.
“I… I have no stories!” She spat.
“You would better watch your manners if you really want to get back to your darling James. It’s so late already and still I can’t sleep yet, tell me a bedtime story.” I requested once more and she opened her mouth to speak or should I say yell, the way she closed her mouth and pressed her lips into a thin line showed that she had decided against doing that.
“That’s one wise decision.” I mumbled.
“Now, may we start the story?” I asked her and she nodded.
“There was once a maid….” She began, her voice croaking and cracking.
“She was almost insignificant but not until she met someone, a girl who joined in the maid profession. They turned best of friends and did things together in the home of the very rich family but things were not so rosy, they bore a whole lot of pains together. The maid seemed contented with that until she met a man, she loved the man and the man also loved her but the man wasn’t human, a fact that he did from the girl because he loved the girl and did not want her to go away from him because of that.”
“The man was a wolf?” I asked, interrupting her story and she nodded her head painfully.
“Heck! I did not request that you tell me the story of you and James!” I groaned.
“That… that is the only story that I can think of right now.” she managed to say and I sighed.
“Okay so tell me, what ending do you think your story is going to have? A good ending or a sad ending?” I asked.
“It… it is going to have a happy ending.” she replied me and I burst into a loud laughter for seconds before suddenly frowning.
“A happy ending? And you think I would let that happen? None of you is going to have a happy ending, not you, not James, not Samantha and not even Kayden! All of you are going to pay with your blood!!” I half screamed in my desperation and saw her flinch.
“Oh, do not flinch yet little captive but you just have to know….” I moved closer to her and caressed her already bruised cheeks.
“You have to know that this is the least of the suffering you are going to experience.” I completed my words and drew back from her.
“You live or not depends on James, Mantha and Kayden. If they give back to me Amelia, I would ensure that you also live, at least for now.”
James POV
We all stayed in the room, Alpha Kayden was about to mind link with Davis on the decision.
“Davis.” Alpha Kayden started the mind link but this time he was speaking out loud so we could also hear what he was going to say.
“We have made our decision.”
“Our decision is that Amelia is going to be given back to you in exchange for Cassie.”
“Where are we supposed to meet with you?”
“I would not meet with you there!”
“Okay! Fine! But if there is anything wrong with Cassie, I promise you death Davis.” Alpha Kayden said and ended the mind link.
“What did he say?” Samantha asked Alpha Kayden.
“We are going to meet him in the next three hours.”
“Where are we going to meet him?” I decided to butt in.
“In a desert.” he replied.
“A desert? What could be his reason for choosing a desert?” Samantha wondered aloud.
“I do not know yet but he definitely has a plot, him choosing such a location is definitely fishy.”
“Anyways James, prepare the men and get Amelia too. There should be no less than hundred men because I really do not know what Davis is capable of at the moment.”
“Yes Alpha Kayden and I am really grateful for your help and assistance.” I said and walked out of the place.
“Thank you so much Kayden.” I heard Samantha say to Alpha Kayden as I walked out.
I shut the door and looked at the door once more, was there anyone as loyal as they both were to me?
I walked to the room where Amelia was locked up in and seeing me, she moved upwards a little bit, writhing in pain.
“Untie her and dress her up, I would not want such stinky person by my side.” I said and she laughed out loud.
“You guys are giving me back to Davis?” she asked me but I have no response.
“I knew this would eventually happen! Davis would never let go of me.” she said proudly and continued laughing endlessly.
“Stop annoying me!” I growled angrily.
“You need to keep calm.” Kim said to me and I breathed in and out.
“Davis is my hero.” she groaned as she was raised up by two men.
“You might be getting out now Amelia but I would get you back into this place and spill your blood all over this room.”
