Samantha’s POV
“What are you doing?” I asked Kayden as I moved towards him.
I had just gone downstairs to have a small chat with his mum and back in his room now, he is already with the pen, his laptop and other materials.
I could bet that he was doing things about the issue on ground yet again.
“Is my help needed?” I asked him when he did not reply my first question.
He pulled me to his laps like he did the previous night and hugged me tight to his body.
“Yeah, I need your help, just hold me like this.” he said to me and I groaned, pulling away from him.
“What are you saying? I want to help with what you are doing.” I groaned to him.
“Okay then, I am trying to solve the mystery of the wolves capacities being locked.”
“Do you perhaps know anything about it?” He asked me and I threw my head back for a moment.
“Why couldn’t you ask me earlier?” I asked him and he held onto my waist.
“C’mon, I have asked now.” he grumbled.
“I really do not know much about it because I never even realized the fact that our capacities were being locked.”
“It can only be locked by witches, so do you perhaps remember if you all had visitors out of nowhere at some certain time.” he asked and I thought about it for a moment.
“Yes I think so, there are actually times of the year when all of a sudden, we are all put together and given some certain sedatives, I don’t know what happens next but I do know that we all feel weaker after that.” I replied him.
“That must be it.” Kayden said and I pulled a chair, sitting beside him.
“If that’s really it, how do you intend on stopping it?” I asked him.
“Around what time of the year does this happen?” He asked, ignoring my own question.
“I am not so sure because I did not have a good grab of time and date back there but I do think it is in the month of June, I once heard them saying something about the month of June, it has to be June.”
“And this month is also…..”
“June.” the both of us chorused.
“What are you going to do about it?” I asked Kayden.
“We have to stop them from blocking the capacities of the wolves, in that way, the wolves can retaliate and with that things should be pretty easy.”
“Yeah but then how in the world are we going to stop them from blocking the capacities of the wolves? I mean we do not know where they are yet.” I replied him and he pulled my right cheek while giving me a small smile.
“We do know where they are but I kind of know where witches are.” he replied with a smirk.
“You’re so smart.” I gave him two thumbs up.
“I know, right?” He mumbled a reply to me.
“I am going to place a call to the coven and to stop them, I might just book the entire coven and ask them to come stay in one of my mansions for the entire month, let’s see how well they can hold down fully grown wolves when the capacity lock wears out soon.” he added and I kissed his forehead.
“Since we are done solving this issue, what else is the next thing to do?” I asked him.
“Uhm… I would not have finished this so quickly without you, so how about the both of us go out for a quick date before any new update comes in?” He asked and I nodded gleefully.
“When did you learn how to treat a woman so well?” I asked him.
“Took some tips from Dad, turns out they are a little bit useful.” he winked in response and I grinned, running out of his room.
I ran to my room, threw open my closet and began ransacking it for the best dress I had that was not too sophisticated, I eventually got one beautiful blue dress.
I took a quick and hurried bath before dressing up. After dressing up, I applied light makeup to complement my dressing as I did not want to look too simple nor did i want to look too sophisticated.
“How do I look Cara?”
“As beautiful as always, even though I think that you look a bit more hot and I am more proud to have such a beautiful human side.” she replied and I smiled even more.
“You’re flattering me.”
“Of course I am not.” she responded as I walked out of the room back to Kayden’s room.
He was also well dressed up already, he sighted me and moved towards me with a beautiful glint in his eyes.
“You’re looking so ravishing, that I might as well cancel this date and make us have a date on the bed instead.” he said flirttily and my cheek burned red.
“You are being flirtatious again.” I mumbled shyly and he kissed my lips.
“I am guessing that blue is your favorite color?” He asked me and I nodded.
“What about you? I don’t have an idea what color is your favorite” I replied him.
“I actually do not have a favorite color but since yours is blue, I am starting to think that my best color is also blue.” he said and I giggled softly.
“Let’s go.” he put his hands in mine and we both proceeded out of the room.
“Where are you both off to love birds?” Mum asked as we got to the living room.
“We are just going out on a small date.” Kayden replied while I just watched on with a pleasant smile on my face.
“Be happy then.” she grinned at us.
“Thanks mum, we would be back soon.” I replied and kissed her cheek
Kayden did the same and pulled back.
“The both of you kissing the same spot…. Are you having an indirect kiss on my cheek?” She asked and both I and Kayden chuckled.
“Bye mum.” Kayden said and we stepped out.
We both got into the car and I decided to ask him a question
“You’d better not ask what is going to ruin the entire mood.” Cara said to me.
“You contacted the coven already?” I asked him.
“Sure I did that already. Things should go just fiiiiine.”
