Samantha’s POV
“Here we are!” Cassie announced joyfully as we stepped into the loud and busy place.
“This place is really noisy!” I yelled on top my voice so Cassie could hear me over the loud blaring music.
“That’s the fun!” Cassie screamed back and held my hand.
She led me to the front bar and I sat down on a chair, Cassie did the same.
“What would you like to have?” She asked.
“Me? I don’t know… I don’t know any type of drinks.” I replied and she shook her head.
“Give her a can of beer.” Cassie said to the bar man.
“And get me the same.” she added and in few seconds there were two cans of beer in front of us.
I opened the can of beer and gulped down the weirdly tasting liquid, it tasted tangy but then it felt pretty good.
“How is it?” Cassie asked.
“Not bad at all…. I would have another bottle.” I requested from the bar man and another bottle was handed over to me.
I had finished the second bottle while Cassie was still on drinking the first one.
“You need to slow down on your drinking. You can’t get drunk.” Cassie said to me .
“I can’t, take a look at me. Do I look like someone who can get drunk so easily?” I asked her with a small laugh.
“You… You do not but still don’t drink too much.” she cautioned and I nodded repeatedly.
“Don’t worry, I won’t.” I promised her and ordered for two more can of beers.
“You are going to stop drinking” Cara said to me.
“No Cara! This feels good.” I replied her.
“C’mon, you are going to get drunk at this rate.” Cara groaned.
“I would not.” I promised her also.
By the time I was done with the third one, I was feeling light headed already. I was a bit drowsy but then I loved the feeling it gave to me and so I continued.
“Hey Mantha, I will be back in a minute, I need to go to the restroom.” She said to me and I waved her to go.
Kayden’s POV
I checked my wristwatch, the night was still young and going home was not what I wanted during that moment, I did not want to fine across Mantha at home.
“That’s it! You are just a coward.” Jay groaned but I simply sighed, ignoring his remark.
“Davis, find out what I told you to find out.” I said and waved the driver of my car to get out.
I got into the driver’s seat and drove off, tearing through the dark and free roads. I halted when I got to a club. Maybe I could just grab a drink or two and calm myself out of these numerous tension that I currently was immersed in.
I alighted from the car and looked around for a brief moment. I walked into the bubbling club and immediately I was in, her scent wafted through my noses, Mantha.
My eyes rotated round the room as they searched for her presence. Just because I allowed her have a day off does not mean she should be in a club house.
“Why do you care about her?” Jay asked and I gulped down.
“I do not. But after all she is my employee.” I replied him.
My eyes rested on Mantha in the midst of the crowd. She was drunk and drowsy but she looked different, she looked beautiful and hot in the skin tight gown that she was wearing and it annoyed me to see her drunk. Like how could she drink when she clearly could not handle it?
I watched a man in black approach her and I took a seat in the middle of the crowd not tearing my gaze off Mantha and the guy.
I concentrated my gaze on the both of them in order to be able to hear whatever they were saying.
“Hello beautiful lady.” the guy said to her and I pressed my lips into a thin line before biting on the lower lip.
“W…. Who are you?” Mantha asked.
“The man of your dreams.” the man replied her.
Cheesy lines!
I rolled my eyes
“The man of my dreams? Alpha Kayden?” Mantha asked and I bit my lips again.
Hell! She was taking me as the man of her dreams already.
“Stupid.” I mumbled to myself even though I didn’t think I meant the word.
“Alpha…. Who the heck bears that? Anyways, would you love to have a dance with me?” The guy asked and I focused my gaze on Mantha, waiting for her response to the guy.
“No problem…. But…. but I can’t dance.” she drawled drunkenly and I gulped, my hands clenching tightly.
I looked around the club for Cassie, why would she leave her friend here in the club knowing very well that she is drunk?
I am definitely punishing her for this careless act.
I watched the guy in black hold Mantha’s hands and led her to the dance floor which I could still yet very well view from where I was currently sitting.
The music was a slow one and the both of them moved slowly to the rythm of the music. The music suddenly changed and a much louder song was played, a song that was sure made for dancing hard and crazily.
Along with the change of song came the change of dance steps for the both of them too as Mantha danced drunkenly.
I puffed out oxygen and loosened up two buttons of my shirt. I tried to look away and focus on something else but I could not take my mind away from it and by the time I turned to take a look at them once more, Mantha was actually rocking this guy who seemed to be enjoying every moment of it.
That was the height of it! How could he try to take advantage of a drunk lady? I am so chopping off those fingers with which he held her waist.
I got up from where I was sitting and stormed off to him. I yanked his tiny figure away from Mantha sending him sprawling to the floor.
“What the heck is wrong with you man?!” He yelled standing up but my cold gaze was enough to freeze him. I grabbed Mantha’s hands and moved towards the guy.
“One more word from you and…. It will be the end of your life.”I said to him and with those words I pulled out a screaming and yelling Mantha.
“Let go of me! Who are you?! Let go of me!!” She screamed drunkenly but I still pulled her out of the club.
I stopped pulling her and she looked into my face and frowned even deeper.
“You?! Alpha Kayden?! Why are you here? I don’t…. I don’t want to see you Alpha Kayden…. I do….”
I was no longer listening to whatever she was telling to me, I could only see her beautiful face that was even more pretty due to the illumination from the moon.
My gaze fell onto her lips that kept moving as she spoke and rambled on and on. A tear drop fell onto her upper lips and she raised her hand to wipe her tears.
I puffed out air and leaned in closer to kiss her lips but she raised her hands to cover her lips.
“Don’t!” She insisted while I locked gaze with her.
Her beautiful eyes were staring deep into mine and if eyes could actually see the soul she could definitely see mine.
I raised my hand up and held her hand that was covering her lips. Not still breaking eye contact, I removed her hands from her lips slowly and her eyes blinked but I still kept mine on hers.
It was more like I could not look away from that pair of mesmerizing eyes.
I placed my hand on her waist and cussed silently knowing that another man’s hands had been right there that very same day.
The frown on her face had vanished and her eyes were completely soft, her lips were slightly parted making them look even more attractive.
For a moment I wanted to hold back but another look at her lips pushed me over the edge and I pulled her closer, fusing my lips with hers in an instant.
I kissed her hard not waiting for another moment, my tongue lurched at hers and I could taste the alcohol she just had and it had never tasted this great.
She wrapped her hands around my neck while I deepened the kiss, my hands roaming around her beautiful body and tracing out her body curves.
Our tongues got involved in a fight for dominance which I sure was winning.
I pulled Mantha along with me and made her lean against my car while not breaking the kiss.
I did not want the moment to stop or pass by quickly.
I returned back to her lips and bit on it gently before going back to kissing every inch of her small mouth.
I opened up the door of the car and the both of us moved into the car, breaking the kiss for a spilt second.
We stared into each other’s eyes like we wee both waiting for permission to go on. At the point when I thought I was regaining my senses, Mantha grabbed my collars and crashed her lips on mine….
