Very spoiled though, until his cooking skills were fully learned, she took good care of Alina, in the future, even if Alina had any problems, Master Caleb shouldn’t do anything to her, right?
Clearly, Amy had thought of all the paths she could take now regarding the danger that Alina might bring her.
It was evident that in her perception, Caleb really was more terrible than Chester.
“Amy, I like to eat this.” Alina took a bite of the bun, which tasted similar to that in Shirling before.
Shirling.
In a flash of light in Alina’s mind, her head ached and the bun in her hand fell to the ground.
When Chester saw her face was not right, he instantly tensed up and picked her up, while Lucas was all alert.
“Abby.”
“Chester, I have a headache.” Alina said to Chester.
Chester, “How can you get a headache?”
“It hurts.”
Alina whimpered and looked towards Chester, even holding her head in her hands. Lucas gave Amy a fierce glance.
Amy’s heart thumped at this glare from him.
She really didn’t do anything.
How could she eat a bun and had a headache?
And Alina, surprisingly, fainted in Chester’s arms, the originally harmonious dinning was now in a mess.
“Doctor, doctor!” Chester picked up Alina and headed out.
Lucas made urgent arrangements, now that Alina had fainted, it was definitely impossible to wait for a doctor in the castle, she could only go to the hospital.
As he passed by Amy, Lucas gave Amy a fierce glare.
Amy’s heart jumped at the look in his eyes.
She really didn’t do anything, why did he have to look at her with such an expression?
Now Amy flet wronged.
She hurried up to follow.
Alina woke up on the way to the hospital, but still looked very bad.
“Chester.”
“It’s hard, isn’t it? We will soon arrive at the hospital.” Chester took a breath of relief.
Just now she was lying so softly and without the slightest hint of life in his arms, that was torment for Chester.
He was really afraid that something might happen to her.
As they arrived at the hospital, Lucas arranged for a doctor, Chester got out of the car and carried Alina inside, with Amy following behind Lucas.
Lucas saw that Amy had even followed him, and when he looked back at her, his eyes were still stern.
Obviously he didn’t expect she’d have the guts to come along at this point.
And naturally, Amy read Lucas’ eyes, but she did nothing.
Lucas frowned.
In the end, he didn’t say anything and followed Chester straight in.
In the hospital, Alina was examined, which showed that Chester was nervous when it came to her.
The lab results came out and there was no poisoning or anything. As for why she was unconscious, it had to do with the blood clot in her skull.
When he heard the result, Chester was kind of relieved.
The doctor said, “Sometimes the sudden recollection of memories she is not familiar with can be frightening for her, and she gets headaches from being nervous.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes, if she suddenly came to her senses, there was a moment of unresponsiveness that would cause a headache and she would be nervous.”
Chester nodded, understanding what the doctor meant.
All this time Alina had been being treated, so she got headaches.
Amy was relieved when she heard the result, and no one knew what was in her mind.
Still, she tried to recall who had actually touched the breakfast on her way to the castle.
But she hadn’t even let anyone touch it. She had even begun to suspect the owner of the breakfast shop.
If there was a real problem, she was related to it.
“Amy.” Alina saw Amy.
She was shocked that Amy came along.
Amy stepped forward, “I’m glad you’re okay, you really scared me.”
“Don’t worry, the doctor said I am just sick.”
If she was really poisoned, then a tragedy would surely be inevitable today.
Lucas looked at Amy, there was still doubt in those eyes, and even now that the outcome was all clear, he hadn’t changed his attitude.
Angry at this look, Amy glared right back with a fierce glance.
She was really fucking pissed off, the result was out, it had nothing to do with her, why did Lucas still look at her like that?
The more she thought about it, the more angry Amy became.
Chester and Alina left first. Lucas was at the hospital with Amy, helping Alina to get some medicine and the report.
It was not until midday that the two came out.
“In future, stay away from her. Master will take care of her.” Lucas said to Amy with a warning in his tone.
Amy, “I didn’t want to harm her, the doctor made it clear. Who are you to talk to me like that?”
“She must be well.”
“I know, I’ll make her well.”
“No need.” Lucas said in a strong tone.
Chester would naturally do that, no need for Amy to do anything.
Amy glared at Lucas unconvincingly, no longer paying him any attention, and left.
However, the next moment, his wrist was yanked by Lucas, “What are you doing? I think that all your thoughts should be on the Holmes family right now.”
“You know very well how much loss Fiona has suffered from Alina before, and the Holmes family will not let it go easily.”
Even if they dare not do anything openly now due to Chester, but secretly, who knows what the Holmes family is really planning?
Those people are cunning.
Lucas’ face sank, and the breath on his body heaved at the moment.
He said, “Don’t think why you marry that man next month, Amy.”
There was a warning in Lucas’ tone.
Amy’s heart sank.
She looked at Lucas in silence and gloom, a deep light shining under her eyes.
She shook off Lucas’ hand, “It’s none of your business.”
Amy uttered with no good grace, and Lucas’ hands balled into fists in anger as he looked at her back, his eyes even more gloomy and cold.
In the car, Alina leaned into Chester’s arms, looked so well-behaved.
Chester touched her head and asked carefully, “How is it? Does it still hurt now?”
Alina shook her head, “It’s much better now.”
It was just that at the time, it really hurt, but after that, it didn’t really hurt that much.
Chester was relieved when he heard that.
“I am so hungry.” Alina said, looking at Chester pitifully.
She was really hungry.
She just took a bite of that bun.
“We are going back for dinner now.” Chester said as he stroked her head.
