Grandma and Grandpa were both so happy after hearing that, “Really?”
Cody smiled, “Why should I ever lie to you guys?”
Thea went extremely read, “Enough about us. Cristelle, Linford, and Candace’s gonna get married soon. I bet you guys must feel extremely emotional right now, right?”
Cristelle smiled, “Of course, we’re feeling emotional. We don’t even want to let her go. But the Watson house is not far, and Thomas loves her so much. We only feel lucky and grateful now.”
Thea nodded, “I agree.”
Cristelle then looked a bit serious, “Demi, you and Cody hadn’t held the wedding yet, but you guys have got registered as a legally married couple. You’re also a part of the family now. From now on, you should start to call me Mom and Linford Dad as well.”
Thea blushed even more furiously as she called, “Mom, Dad.”
Linford’s face instantly became less grim.
Cristelle was also happy. They prepared a big meal and ate it happily that day.
After the meal, Cristelle and Fritzi started to write invitation letters. The nannies and maids of the house were running around to pick up all the things they needed for the wedding.
It was pretty cold right now. Candace proposed to hold the wedding in Italy. They thus started to pick the location for the wedding. Thea wanted to join them and be helpful. However, the Moms were constantly hinting to her that she should get married as well as they discussed the details of Candace’s wedding. Thea was a bit stressed out.
In the end, Cody just brought her to the hot spring.
Thea was thankful that she didn’t need to endure being urged to get married anymore.
The hotel Cody picked was quite famous.
There was a natural hot spring right outside of their suite.
The view around this place was also extremely beautiful.
They went out to walk around during the day, and they went back to the suite to soak in the hot spring at night.
There was a glass fish pool near their hot spring. Thea leaned forward and saw fishes of all sorts of colors swimming swiftly in the clear water.
“This place is so beautiful,” Thea exclaimed.
“You like this place?” Cody held her from behind, “We can come here more if you like it.”
Thea turned around and left a kiss on his cheek, “That will be really nice.”
“Wine?” Cody pecked her lips and asked.
“Wine,” Thea smiled.
They spent two relaxing days in the hotel. Christmas soon came.
Thea still had jobs to do. But she didn’t even want to leave her place when Cody was still around.
“It pains me when I think of work right now,” Thea pressed her cheek against Cody’s chest, “I wish I could spend 24 hours a day with you.”
“You know this is also what I want,” Cody smiled, “And you can totally ditch your work, Mrs. Bradley. In fact, you don’t even need to work if I…”
Thea struggled, trying to retrieve her rational thinking, “I really don’t think so. If I ditch my job, I will be breaking all those contracts I signed with those products… Besides, the two events I needed to attend were actually held in this city. There’s nothing inconvenient.”
She went to those events anyway.
Candace’s wedding was right around the corner once all her responsibilities were finished.
The three sets of parents came to an agreement that the wedding should take place in Naples. The climate was very agreeable at that time over there. And Italy was always one of Candace’s favorite places.
Everyone who was invited, including friends and family, received their invites. There were several of them traveled there using their personal jets.
Linford was in charge of booking flights for anyone who didn’t have their own private plane.
Thea arrived in the city at the scheduled hour. In order to assist Candace with the preparations for her wedding, she skipped a handful of the yearly activities. She was aware that this was Candace’s most important day, and she felt obligated to be there for her close friend on this momentous occasion.
Thea had been working nonstop for an entire year, so she was also very exhausted.
Because of obligations to her family, she made it abundantly apparent on her Twitter account that she would not be giving any presentations at recent events. As a result, some of her followers began to speculate that she was, in fact, holding her own wedding behind closed doors.
When she was seen on tape going out with an unknown person, the paparazzi captured her in the act. People from all around the world were searching the internet for information about this mysterious winner.
Thea’s mystery boyfriend was a topic of conversation that never went away. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Candace’s wedding was turning out to be quite a spectacular event.
Candace was Thea’s constant companion throughout the day, every day. She had a good idea of how anxious Candace must be feeling at this very moment, and she was resolved to be there for her close friend.
Cody’s feelings of envy begin to surface as a direct result of this. These young women were beyond his comprehension.
It was not even remotely possible for them to communicate with one another again at this point. They didn’t have to act in such a manner at all.
Amy traveled all the way from France to attend Candace’s wedding in Italy.
She said yes when Candace asked her to be her bridesmaid. Both Thea and Candace were happy to see her once she had returned. Amy’s face was beaming, and she appeared to be in an extremely happy state. It was clear to Thea that she was overjoyed at the opportunity to see them again.
It seems that Amy had moved on to other things.
Over a few glasses of wine, the ladies laughed and gossiped with one another.
Amy smiled at Thea as she told her while they were having their little party in Candace’s suite, “Thea, I’ve heard about you and Cody. I’m happy for you guys. I’m happy for you guys, really.”
Thea moved closer in an attempt to give her a hug. “You’re really welcome, Amy. I wish for your happiness just as much as I do for mine.”
Amy gave a friendly smile and responded, “I will.”
