Mia showed up later. The small party lasted until the middle of the night. Thea knew Amy came back this time for Candace, and she must have a lot to say to her best friend. Thea thus decided to go first, taking Mia with her.
Mia knew how close Candace and Amy were. She knew they must have a lot to say to each other. She thought she would have been so awkward when she saw Amy this time. However, she didn’t feel awkward at all.
Amy genuinely looked like she had moved on. She was talking and laughing with everyone. She didn’t even mention Cody that much.
Mia knew this was a great thing. After they left Candace’s suite, Thea went back to her suite, and Mia went back to hers.
The light in the bedroom was on. Thea sneaked in, and Cody suddenly showed up, pulling her into a deep kiss.
Thea pushed him away, laughing, “Gosh, what are you doing? A ninja move?”
Cody looked a bit unhappy, “Why did you come back so late?”
Thea was still quite excited, “Candace’s gonna get married tomorrow. I’m just happy for her. That was a small yet lovely single party. Unfortunately, I didn’t even have the chance to hold one.”
Cody frowned, “What’s so good about that? You can have as many parties as you want before our wedding.”
Thea pouted her lips, “It’s different, okay?”
Cody shrugged. He didn’t know how different that could be.
Thea shook her head and went into the bathroom. Cody instantly followed.
Thea looked back, “Why are you following me? You haven’t taken a bath yet.”
Cody’s face fell, “You didn’t even come back. Why should I take a bath without you?”
Thea sighed. “Fine… Just join me. Hurry it up. I’m so freaking tired now.”

The wedding was held the next day. Candace got in the wedding dress Cristelle designed for her. Candace was naturally skinny, and her belly hadn’t shown yet. So she looked quite amazing in that dress.
The church was beautiful. Candace held Linford’s arm and walked down the way. Thomas was waiting on the other side of the carpet.
They made their vows before their families and friends.
Thomas leaned forward to kiss Candace excitedly as the Father announced that they were husband and wife now.
Cristelle suddenly burst into tears. Time flew so fast. Her little girl just got married.
She remembered all the memories they shared. She remembered how quiet and timid Candace used to be.
She remembered how clingy Candace was to her. Candace would follow her around like a small tail when she came back from work.
Cristelle couldn’t believe how fast Candace had grown.
Linford pulled her in, so Cristelle rested her head on her husband’s shoulder, “It’s okay, honey. Candace will still come back to see us.”
Cristelle nodded, “I know. I just can’t believe that my little girl just got married.”
A faint smile showed up on Cody’s lips when he watched his little sister standing there.
Candace used to be such a crybaby. But now, she also started to establish her own family.

The party after the wedding was held in a manor with a long history.
Thea just grabbed a drink from the canopy. She walked across the lane, and a really tall man suddenly showed up, blocking her way, “Excuse me, ma’am. But have you seen Amy Watson?”
Was this man asking about Amy?
Thea looked up and saw his handsome face. This man was wearing a sharp and expensive tailored suit. He looked like a gentleman, and his dark eyes fixed on Thea’s face patiently.
Thea blinked, “Why do you want to find Amy?”
“Well… I have something quite important to tell her.”
Thea shrugged and pointed in the direction of helping the man, “She should be with Candace right now. Over there.”
The handsome man instantly turned away and walked in that direction.
Thea stared for a couple of seconds.
And then, a knowing smile showed up on her lips.
Was this man some sort of boyfriend of Amy’s?
Thea had not yet broken her eyes when Cody appeared out of nowhere; she continued to stare at him. Cody was never going to be able to accept the reality that Thea had her eyes fixed on another man.
“Cody, what the hell is going on? Stop standing before me. I can’t function unless I look at something!” Thea made an effort to drive him away from her.
“Could you please explain why you’re staring at another man, Mrs. Bradley?” Cody’s expression became sad.
Thea pushed the wine glass into his hands and said, “That man is looking for Amy. It seems likely that he is her boyfriend. You kindly put this aside for me for the time being. It’s very important that I look into it.”
“Wait… What?” “What?”
Cody tried to stop Thea, but she went around him and went straight to Amy and Candace before he could.
When Thea arrived at the location, the handsome man was already attempting to take Amy’s hand because he appeared to be so anxious, “Don’t! Don’t get married to that creep!”
Amy faltered. Then, her face turned the color of a ripe tomato, and she asked, “What the heck are you talking about? I’m not gonna marry anyone.”
“Amy, you have to stop lying to me!” Frances questioned the wearer’s rationale, asking, “If you’re not going to get married, why are you wearing a wedding dress?”
“A wedding dress? For fate’s sake, Frances, this is not a dress for a wedding! I’m going to be the maid of honor. I came all the way here to celebrate the marriage of my very best friend. By the way, what brings you to this place?” Amy appeared to be very perplexed.
She struggled, Frances. After then, a grin appeared on his face, and he said, “You left without saying a word. I had a lot of concerns. Would it be too much to ask that the next time you leave me, you at least tell me where you are going?”
Amy withdrew her hand and turned around before saying, “Well, it just depends on my mood.”
