Summer repeatedly begged, yet Mia just didn’t want to stay. She couldn’t explain, but she just wanted to go back.
She also couldn’t explain why, but she just didn’t want to stay here anymore.
“Alright, if you don’t want to stay here, then we probably should leave.” Summer started to collect her stuff.
Mia went to the bathroom. When she was away, Summer took a pill out of her purse and put it in her drink.
When Mia got out of the bathroom, Summer handed the cup of drink to her friend.
“This is the last glass of wine we drank here,” Summer sighed, “Let’s make a toast.”
Mia felt a bit sorry. She thus smiled, “Of course. Let’s finish it. I have something else to handle in the town. I’m sorry that we couldn’t stay for the night. I swear that I will take you somewhere better next time.”
Summer smiled, “Okay.”
They clicked their glasses, and Mia emptied the glass immediately.
Summer turned away, and the smile on her face just disappeared. She hissed under her breath, “Don’t even blame me, Mia. Just blame yourself for being this stupid.”
After Mia passed out, Summer stripped her naked and put on a set of Victorian Secret lingerie on her. And then, she closed the door and left the room.
Inside Paris’s car, her assistant asked carefully, “Can Summer really do that? She’s just a kid. Won’t she be chickening out halfway? What if she failed to do what we told her to do?”
Paris leaned against the window and said leisurely, “Don’t worry. Five million is a lot for a kid. I can sense that they are not even real friends. Summer acts like Mia is her best friend. But in fact, she doesn’t even give a shit. I can tell that girl hates Mia secretly. She probably wishes to make Miss Weston suffer.”
The assistant let out a long breath, “That’s pretty good. If we can make sure we take some photos during the process, Leon will be us to use after this. Besides, we’re not even the ones who drugged Mia. Summer is the one who did. Even Leon refused to get blackmailed, he would only hold Summer accountable for this. Paris, you’re so smart.”
Paris smiled, “Save it. Let’s just head back. We need to stay away from this place as far as possible when that happens. I don’t wanna get involved.”
Their car driver thus picked up the speed, bolting down the highway and going back to their hotel in town.

Thea somehow grew nervous for no reason. “Why did Mia decide to stay? That friend of hers is not a decent person. I could tell by the way she looked at Mia. Why does she have to be so rebellious?”
Thea’s anxious thought had become a reality.
Summer did something to sabotage her. Mia didn’t get any harm from that. Of course, she wouldn’t care.
Cody’s phone suddenly started to buzz at the moment.
He picked it up and listened for a couple of seconds, and his face suddenly went pale, “Okay. I will be there soon.”
Thea’s heart suddenly started beating hard. She hurried to ask, “What’s wrong? What happened?”
Cody turned to her, saying, “Mia was in danger. She’s trapped in one hotel, and someone tried to assault her. We need to go there instantly. Or we will be late to save her.”
Thea instantly grabbed her coat and dashed out of the room.
“Hm… So hot… Why is this place so freaking hot.” Mia woke up in bed, and the first thing she saw was the greasy face of a middle-aged man.
She took in a sharp breath and started to scream.
“Who… Who the heck are you? What are you gonna do to me?!” Mia screamed. But her voice came out small and weak.
The gross man laughed, thinking she was just teasing him.
Mia felt her eyelids getting heavy, and she knew she couldn’t keep her eyes open for long.
But she mustn’t shut her eyes. God knew what would happen if she did.
That man was putting his clammy hands on her, and Mia was crying. But she couldn’t even fight back because of the pill.
She didn’t want to be touched by this gross creature.
Who did this to her?
Was it Summer?
How could she treat her this way?
“Summer?! Summer!” She cried at the top of her lungs, but no one answered her crying.
The fat man grabbed her face and pressed his lips to hers.
He stunk.
Mia wanted to throw up violently when she thought of this man.
She wished she was dead.
When Mia was the most desperate, the door of the room was suddenly kicked open. A slim figure dashed in.
Thea grabbed the old man and threw him to the floor, kicking his lower body furiously, “How dare you touch my little sister, you piece of shit!”
Meanwhile, Cody and Candace also showed up at the door.
Candace screamed, and then she instantly took off her coat and used it to cover Mia.
Cody went forth and stuck a finger into Mia’s mouth.
Mia wretched and threw up on the floor.
“What the heck just happened, Mia? How did you get into this situation? Why are you all alone in this room? Where’s Summer?!” Candace asked worriedly.
After everything that took place the last time, Cody and Thea never brought it up in conversation with Candace. As a result, Candace was unaware of the type of individual Summer was.
Mia shook her head, and tears began to roll down her cheeks as she said, “I have no idea where she is. I haven’t seen her since I woke up.”
Mia continued her miserable sobbing for the next minute while held in Cody’s arms. She gave off the impression that she was going through a severe breakdown.
Thea walked towards and took the young girl into her arms while saying, “It’s okay. You are no longer in danger. Let’s go back to where you are staying, shall we?”
